Any DLC you have ever bought can be re-downloaded as many times as you want. Just click Profile -> Your Registered Game Promotions and you'll see all the download links to anything you already own, including LotSB. I don't even understand why you think they'd try to make people pay again.

I don't know, I'm just irritated right now and I'm inclined to say stupid sh*t. I also haven't slept since yesterday so I'm not exactly thinking clearly.

Its just that you'd think someone would've checked this to make sure that it would work before unleashing a broken DLC on half the fanbase. The console players are going bonkers over the DLC while the rest of us are sitting here twiddling our thumbs and blatantly wondering "WTF Bioware  wasn't I loyal to you?"

Some people are WAY too accepting.....i.e. "sh*t happens" and all.  The person who fudged this up should be on the unemployment line RIGHT FRACKING NOW!!  People paid good money for this.....and isn't it funny how the console kiddies got their working copy first, while PC users get to wait longer, AND get hosed.  Thanks Bioware!!!  This will be the LAST DLC I will be paying for ....... pirate if I must, but this was the LAST STRAW......where's the middle finger emoticon on this thing......

Maybe we can control ourselves. Maybe we have other things to keep us occupied until it's fixed. Maybe we don't have anger issues. Maybe we are more mature. Maybe we have patience.

Jesus.

Patience maybe, but believe it or not, everybody does NOT have unlimited bandwidth......and the broken file is STILL evailable for download.  You'd think they'd take it down already.....stop more people from wasting their time and bandwidth.......

BW needs to get its act together. We should all get some free Bioware points as a way of apologising for their blunder.

Jeez~ Some of you will have to learn patience.

I believe in you BioWare-employees!

I'm actually very patient, I wasn't going nuts over this, waiting for it on the edge of my seat up to the day of release. I just noticed it was the 6th and went "oh, the DLC is tomorrow *shrugs and keeps playing MW2*"

It has nothing to do with loyalty. It has something to do with Bioware focusing their attention ever more towards the console players. We pc-players are second-class citizens now.

Why take things so personally?  Console DLC gets messed up sometimes too, like with Fallout 3's The Pitt and Crackdown 2.  It's not an attack, it's not a sign of disrespect, it's a simple screw-up.

Make fun of them for messing up if you want, but don't take it so personal.

Purge the heretic.

JK, of course. I get what you're saying.

It doesn't lessen the irritation that I could've spent that six quid on food or a magazine. Ya know; something useful.

Pfft, I'm obviously saying it wrong. I'm not taking it as a personal attack, I'm just wondering why PC Players got mildly screwed.

So are they going to bother to tell us if we can download it again? And will it show up on my addon page to download? This is complete bull****.

Guys, PC players arent second class, we arent looked down upon. Come on, BW made a mistake, they will fix it. Am I irritated its not out, yes of course, am I going to take it personally, no. Probably someone screwed up which EXE to put out and now theyre trying to find the right one, quickly make sure it works and send it over. Chillax guys, find another game or go outside or to a friends.

Now back to minecraft.

Oh boy, fallout 3 the Pitt was a disaster. I am glad I didn't get that till months down the road, but that is pathetic that buildings in the Pitt are just a red exclamation mark. To be honest, I do think people are overreacting, but I am ticked off how the Xbox players have a working version starting around 7 am EST while we had to wait till 11 am MST/1 pm EST, and we get a broken file, so now we are waiting longer. If it keeps up, we are going to be waiting at least 12 hours longer than the Xbox version. That is unacceptable as we have been patently waiting for weeks now, and since releases are on a Tuesday, we are all press for time. This is inexcusable in my eyes.

Well now.....

Got home from work, started the download and took a shower only to find out that the file is in fact a load of static.

Some VERY polite calls are in order i think.

Are you kidding me? Just take a look over at Bioshock 2's forums about the latest Minerva's Den DLC. Once again PC gamers got ****f***ed. They released the DLC only to console kiddies and didn't even give us PC gamers a release date for that DLC.

Gonna go play something else while i wait for this BS to be fixed.

Yes PC gamers are being treated like second class gamers here by Bioware. People keep saying "oh this is just a mistake" it is a mistake of monumental proportions it is a mistake that should not have happened. Bioware is supposed to be a professional business, I was under the impression that Bioware was a premier developer ....... well from what I have seen so far I am absolutely shocked at the sloppiness of it all.

Not only have we wasted bandwidth, not only are we not being told a single thing other than "shut up we are fixing it" but they still have the file up for download. Now in my book that is damn sloppy work, the first thing they should have done is remove the download link so people don't waste their bandwidth on a useless file.

It isn't just the initial mistake that is showing us that we are second class gamers it is their whole performance and attitude with the way they are handling this.

go for a drink, ride a bike, have an early night, serf some forums, look at some funny video clips, watch a dvd, spend time with your partner.. its a DLC it will be here when its here, and no amount of posts or emo "i want a refund" will make it any faster! relax chaps :)

also they counted this into the playing time of the DLC to pad it out a bit :)
