Having the same problem, I just send an email to costumer support, so there should be answers within 24 hours.

Haha the Shadow Broker doesn't want us to play :P But seriously......this is annoying.

That's actually kinda funny, even the new DLC is controlled by the Shadow Broker xD And he doesn't want us blowing him up with a Mini Nuke :P

I think we literates all understand that by now, Den.

Perhaps you'd like to draw us a diagram? ;)

The file is basically dead. RAR-ing it reveals the truth of the size.

I'm just saying we should get T-shirts for our bandwidth trouble.

Are you sure? I can't even see it in the DA DLC listing....

Download and Purchase it from inside the game. If you've had the game up for a while close and restart it. For some reason its not being shown on the website as of yet.

But its something to do while we wait for LoTsB. At least we get to see one of the lovely ladies tonight. Shame tho I wanted to visit my blue alien friend first.

Alas.

Thanks for the tip. I just uninstalled ME2 and will replace it with DAO (my HD is full) - getting a new HD tomorrow so I'll just hold off until then.

Somehow it's Fail Day today. Steam just crashed and then started Dragon Age while updating it in the background, causing it to crash as well....

Going to keep spamming this until more than two literate people read the message.
This has nothing to do with your PC system nor does it have anything to do with it being 64bit. The issue is on their end.

For the not so literate people... You are literally downloading 1.5GB worth of the number 0 just being spammed over and over again. Bioware is going to have to re-release the patch, your $10 wont be wasted, as you will be able to re-download it from your page.

Education pays, kids.

I apologize for not reading every post in this thread.

It just amazes me how people just automatically post to a thread and complain about it not working when they have not even looked into the issue.  People are just assuming the file works, just not on their PC.  It pays to read up on it first so you don't look a moron asking the same questions everyone else has been asking.

All we do now is wait for Bioware to re-release the patch and we're good to go.

It's just aggrivating.  I guess one man can't save a world of stupidity.
Either way, a free T-Shirt would be nice.

Just for the record it helps to notify BioWare if they weren't aware of the issue in the first place =P Relax man

Settle down bud. I actually read through the first 5 pages without seeing anyone about it not being a 64-bit platform related issue. So shoot me! ^_^

I think it's best they at least remove the link and put up a sticky addressing the problem. All things considered; it could be worse; I could not have a 30mbit internet connection. And on that note, I'm going to treat myself to a nice Belgian Trappist beer!

Well I guess I'll add my complaint to everyone else. I downloaded 1.5gigs of nothing and it didn't even give me an error message. I see a black box that popped up and then absolutely nothing happened after that. Bioware better fix this problem soon, like by the end of this day.

same, same
The Shadow Broker is just playing with us, he wants to stay secret, hehe. F***ing Bond, 007:P

Same issue, Win7 64Bit...

I dont think they have such a bad QA. I guess the file became corrupt during upload process.

The file is also missing the usual ME2 Icon, isn't it?

There there... *gives massage*
=p

I just hope they didn't stop reading the forums at "compatibility error"
Because that would explain why the broken file is still up... =S

Becoming irritated. It's been over 12 hours since LotSB should've been released. Not only was it delayed being uploaded on time, but we end up getting a broken file! And the price of this particular DLC happens to be the most expensive so far. At this point, I demand a refund. I don't want this DLC garbage anymore. Who do I talk to?

Yes, they have been working on the problem.

Again, let me help you with the issue. This is a direct quote from Chris.

Chris Priestly wrote...

I haven't said anything as we are working on the issue.

I understand you are all irritated by this, but we want you all to play, so we are working hard to determine and fix whatever is causing this. If I do not come by every 15 minutes to say "Still no news", it is because we are working on this. When we have news, we will let you know.

same error.

I did a scan of the file with EDI antivirus and she said that the file contains a reaper's virus. Then she said that was a joke. :)
