Epic fail.

Hours later, I'm downloading it again even though it's probably the same bad file, but why would BioWare still be letting people download the bad one? It's must be fixed, no?

19 pages, 3 hours and no word

Chris has posted twice in another thread on this very subject.  Nothing major, just to say they know about it and are working on it.

Thanks for the link Upsettingshorts, it's no stcky thread but at least some it's kind of acknowledgement

@ciprianb

its funny how people skip to the last page and post, its god-freaking amazing how they cant even read the post above them and see what the problem is.

I hope they get it fixed by tommorow, but right now ill just go do something while i wait, some nice DLC came out for more then just this game today.

Okay I will go out and admit i'm not the brightest to computers. So I really need somebody to help me now! :pinched:

So I just found out about the error, and tried to delete the file (because it's useless) but apperently, I can't. Simply because it's already running/in use or something.

Any helpful comments will be appreciated.

We are testing a fix you read this! @truffle [not everyone has access to shadow broker, I'm sure that will be figured out by the eod.]

Ok then ladies and gents, have a good evening/day socialising here on the board. I'm off to bed slightly disappointed but still living. The sun will rise tomorrow and life will continue.

In the mean time, lets all go bat **** crazy while we wait. :-)

Check your processes for the file running in the background or restart and try deleting it.

I have another issue with ME2_ShadowBroker.exe (apart from it being corrupted). I can not delete it. Every time i'm trying to delete it message pops out that it is used by some other application, but it's NOT, even after reboot. Win XP SP3/32.

You don't have to mess up installer and take money in advance only because you can't release on time.

I've got Vista64 Home premium and it's an absolute bust.

It deleted just fine. No need to add panic to outrage. :)

I just deleted the file myself so i don't know what problem you are having. Did you try deleting it without attempting to do anything with the file first?

Nothing to do with your OS.  It's a broken file.

Yep, this is so sheet. As usual, there's once again somethign wrong with PC ver. Not surprised much as I just read DA2 will be some dube console-style dumb hack'n'slash... Oh well, BioWare is going the cheap way...

I am having an issue to where the DLC installer isn't even opening all together. It only brings up a DOS-like window for half a second, then it disappears and nothing happens.

Is this the same problem others are having as well?

Problem is, I can't find it on the processor. The only thing I "changed" about the file was that it was allowed to run as administator (i use vista 32bit I think) as an attempt to make it work (I hadn't yet read about the news then).
