That is not the case for Australians! We still have monthly download limits for our standard cables and adsl2 internets. :bandit:

And very expensive internet, in most cases. As I've said before, 1.5 gb out of my 60 gb monthly is a fair chunk all the same. I'm not expecting any compensation for it, but I'd really like to see this fixed by the time I get back from work, in 9 hours.. It's already Wednesday for Australia and if the issue is really just the installer then surely it couldn't take the whole day + more to fix?

*crosses fingers*

Yeah my sleeping pattern has been wrecked from me getting up at all hours to check if its up, we Australians got ripped off on the release date as it was it was almost Wednesday before we were supposed to be able to play as it was.

So will I have to pay for it again or just wait till it's fixed or what a month or what??

all you would need to do is redownload the fixed upload, no charge.

So I will still be able to download it at a later date then?? there is no download limit or anything like that?

Let me explain this once...

Someone at BW screwed up and replaced the DLC content with 1.5 Gbs worth of 0's. Now BW is having to fix the error and until then, there will be now downloading of the Lair of Infinite Zeros. There will be no charges to those who have already paid for it. They will let us know when the issue has been resolved.

That answer your question?

Ah well,, yet another Fail. *Thinks of the the next 1.5g thrashing the broadband is going to take*

I wonder how big the bandage is for this mess.

I suppose I'll create another Shep while we wait.

Third Time re downloading and errors still Win7 64-bit

Stop downloading.  They haven't reuploaded it, and they pulled the old one for a reason.  Continuing to download it will not get you a working version, you're just wasting your bandwidth.

I know what's going on here. The Shadow Broker himself has agents inside BioWare at Edmonton. Obviously someone got paid to boycott the launch.

You know, you would think that for a project they've been working on for over 5 months now.. .  they'd have put more thought into it. They went out of their way to make a nice, cinematic trailer for the DLC and everything.

Then the night before launch comes around. . . "do you think we should test install this package on AT LEAST ONE computer here in the QA lab before the big launch tomorrow?" asks software engineer 1.  "Hell no" engineer 2 replys "let's head down to the bar and get some drinks! What? You think we could have possibly made a mistake?"

This is BS. One would think the BW engineers would've test DL-ed the actual posted content before saying it was good to go....

How hard is it to take a copy of the DLC and see if it installs on a regular PC at the Bioware office before they release it to the public?
