It was fine until I was messing around at the end. I bought all the items from the lair. Talked with Liara but she shut me down cuz i slept with Miranda. But I did manage to inivite her back to the ship for a drink and blam!  The game crapped out and gave me the 'Mass Effect 2 has stopped working' error in a neat little box in the middle of my screen. Lame! But not at a critical point so i should recover.

Looks like a lot of people have same problem. I have vista 64-bit system and getting a message that it's not compatible. Any help will be appreciated!

Finished it! Took about 20 minutes for the installer to pop up and start post clicking the Icon. Worth the wait imo.

I think this will fix the problem of those with a 64-bit system.



Make sure you have the latest copy of EA Downloader Manager (EADM) - version number 6.0.4.124



I loaded it up and I could load the Shadow Broker .exe - Hope this helps!

So I was on here last night and the situation was terminal. Has there been an official announcement? I really don't want to download another 1.5 Gigs worth of non-functioning code? Can anyone shed some light on the current status for Win 7 64bit users?

Downloaded it and it installed fine, 0 issues so far. Didn't play it though so I cannot say anything about the problems people mentioned like car chase glitches or audio dropping from time to time. Win 7 x64

The download and installation worked for me, but I haven't try the DLC properly because I'm only in the beginning of the game.

Haven't played it yet as I go through my hardcore run but it downloaded and installed just fine on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. The elusive man wants me to go play it but I have other crap to do first.

You guys might think this is weird but what happened to me is I downloaded it and it gave me that error but instead of clicking okay or cancel I waited and sure enough the installer started. It went through all the way and is playable. Perhaps waiting to see if it installs rather than clicking the popup will help some?

dl yesterday, and when execute, take about 20 min to open, after that, when is updating (already up to date), just stop... i waited about 1 hour and nothing.

i have a win7 64

I downloaded it on windows vista 64, installer won't pop up. **** my life, this thing looks awesome. I would give the person at bioware who fixes it a ****** if it makes them get done any faster XD

Downloaded it twice on two separate computers (both Win7 64 bit) and still getting this error. Hope this is fixed sooner rather than later.
