I dont like this screen one bit, the shot is terrible, she looks almost like she has a double chin :/
That is not a good angle to show a new character.

The bleak landscape? I take it that is due to blight, since Lothering countryside looked nothing like that.
And the qunari shot is sufficient to make me want to kick their asses back to Par Vollen. I'm wondering if those are Kirkwall captives or if they're qunari mages they've dragged along as pets for the army. I also like the spare cathedral look. Much better artwork than we had seen to date.

Probably that you're a troll. But I agree with you, it is a bad angle.hangmans tree wrote...

If not, he is saying you are being trollish (and, frankly, your statement is).

He accuses you of trolling. I say - you can easily edit details and get a really pretty face. What's qunari excuse to try and cleave this face in half?hangmans tree wrote...

Different standards of beauty I suppose.

basically Xena Warrior princess. Probably get a cult lesbian following.
The first true thing I think I've ever seen you say. Of course you seem to think it was an insult...
Anyway, you missed your mark because comparing her to Xena just sold me on playing FemHawke at least once.
(now I just have to wait and see if we get a bard sidekick who looks anything like Renee O'Conner...)

Scyph! It's LadyHawke!
She looks gorgeous. Though I already knew that from the demo at PAX from the Ustream.

I think this is normal. Nobody actually use default characters. The question is - how much work you have to put in character creation before she'll start looking beautiful.saruman31 wrote...
Ugly. She will definitely be changed in my playthrough.

That's unforunate. That means we can't, for example, take default Hawke and just remove his beard, or change the shape of his nose, and leave everything else the same just to see how it looks.JohnEpler wrote...
I'm honestly not 100% sure - I know that the goal is to give the player the ability to create pretty comparable faces using the Character Creator, but there's always going to be a slight difference as the 'default' faces are done by the artists.
That was a major complaint with Sheploo. If you wanted to try that same head with a different beard, you were out of luck.
I would very much like to start with the default head and modify it rather than have to rebuild it from scratch every time.
I'm hoping we get the ability to at least use different colours on the default faces.
Just to change the hair and eye colours for example. In ME I just wanted to have the sheploo face with brown eyes and you couldn't do that. I'm hoping it will be possible to at least change the eye and hair colour of default Hawke.
I do hope we can get this too. I would just like to take the default Hawke ( male or female ) and make my own changes and tweaks. Like, adjust the jawline, change eye color, hair color or style, etc.
I'd hate for it to be like ME, where if you wanted to make changes to the default look, you were given a less detailed model to work with.

But prove me wrong before posting nonsensical phrases. I still think is should be rather the contrary, a shot just a little from the top/higher angle. That one is not flattering, whats more I cant see her physionomy's features...

It means if your opinion doesn't agree with theirs, you're a troll. Everyone came by and expressed their love for the screenshot, why shouldn't you express you're dislike for it? You'd be trolling if this was a Lady Hawke Appreciatation thread, but it isn't.
I like the screenshot myself. Might not use it in-game, though

A lot. Something like 30 minutes. It will be like reinventing the wheel. The effects of massification are upon us; default femShep and Miranda are both ugly individuals.
