Most of the DA2 references seem to have been mentioned, I
loved the Anders references though, he had Sir Pounce A-Lot's name picked out in advance.

The whole time I was playing this I felt extremely aware that DA2 was well in process over in the Free Marches, even more so than when I went through Awakening. This is set two years post awakening, which itself is set almost a year after Origins I believe? Which itself takes place over many months if I remember correctly? Unless the travel to Kirkwall takes a helluva long time Hawke should be well into his quest by the time Witch Hunt takes place.
Which made the Mages comments about Templar's controlling the Kirkwall Circle all the more interesting: A timeline guff by Bioware? Or a hint that Kirkwall will be under Templar controll for a number of years during DA2...
Overall I liked the DLC, it had it's fair share of bugs and could have been longer, however I never felt bored and it kept me entertained. I played it with a Warden who turned down the DR and wasn't in a romance with Morri, yet still liked the conclusion - Claudia Black might have only had 30 lines (or whatever) but I felt she did a great job conveying the emotion of the scene. I didn't like that I probably will never get to see what she left for my Warden though, bit of a tease too far for me. I would guess that Hawke will have to choose between helping the Chantry or Flemeth's 'change' (in whatever form it takes) in DA2.
Anyone else read the descriptions for the locations you visit on the map? Gives some nice details on how Orzammar/Vigil's Keep/Redcliff etc. are doing, although nothing major.
The most notable thing I have to say about the Strider beasty is that I killed it in awesome fashion, it landed 'on' my Warden (an archer) so she was between the legs underneath it... Pointed bow up and one shotted it's remaining health with an Arrow of Slaying. Satisfying.
