Witch Hunt Easter Eggs

Well, first of all I made a thread about this in the DA2 forum, but there are some women in the Tower saying something like "Did you hear about the hero of Ferelden? They say he once took on a pirate woman and three nugs... between the sheets." Which made me think of Hawke and the girl in his flashback.
BUT, what really made me happy was that in the library, if you examine the book Spirit Healers Through the Ages, it mentions that there are some apprentice notes scrawled into it including a drawing of several Templars being eaten by a tiger called Sir-Pounce-a-lot!

Ariana was lovely. She is my favorite DLC companion now sorry Tug. I so wish my Dalish Elf could romance her.

Yeah, I got that one completely wrong. I didn't spend enough time at the Pearl apparently, plus for some reason I had the idea in my mind that DA2 took place long before DAO, so that by the time of DAO Hawke could have been somewhat legendary... But I was very wrong.
Hawke Is from Lothering, he fled when the Blight hit the town. I believe DA2 takes place 5 years after the blight, if I remember the recently posted video interview.

DA:2 covers a 10-year period beginning during the events of DA:O. The early stages of DA:2 would be occuring concurrently with the events in Origins, Awakenings, GoA, and Witch Hunt.

Actually that one didn't make sense to me. Unless we're supposed to believe that Anders willingly went back into the Mage tower and scrawled in a book's margins after Awakening, then shouldn't it be "Mr. Wiggums" and not "Ser Pounce-a-lot?"Knolly wrote...

The only other explanation I can think of is that he thought of the name way back when and just kept it mentally filed away until he got a cat of his own.

That's pretty much what I figured too. Seems reasonable enough.SirOccam wrote...

In the awakening credits, it mentions Anders taking a break from the wardens to lecture at the Circle.

That's what I figured--that if he ever had a cat of his own, he'd call it Ser-Pounce-a-Lot, and had wanted a cat since he was an apprentice.

Maybe they should have spent less time on Easter eggs and more time on, you know, having the game register the correct ending choices?
I laughed but it's true.

Importing saves = design/programming
It wasn't a matter of choosing which one to spend more time on. I doubt David Gaider or any of the other writers would be able to help debug the import code, talented as they may be.

if you're playing a female mage the same two girls also make a comment about how it's a shame Cullen isn't there (and go on to explain how he's resting up at some Chantry in the country until Gregior decides he's leveled out enough to come back)
