Hello,
I have bought and downloaded the Shadwo Broker DLC and I can't get it working.
I have downloaded it twice and with both instances the .exe shows up without the ME2 icon.
When I try to run it Windows prompts for permission and I click accept.
A smaal ms-dos like window appears shortly, dissappears again and nothing more happens.
Help please!!!!
thanks

There's allready quite HUGE topic about this.
Basically someone messed with installer and instead on DLC files it's full 0:s (no joke). There's nothing to be done except wait.

I also get this error. I tried running the exe file in a dos window. The error that was returned is "Program too big to fit in memory." I'm running windows vista, with 3GB of memory.
I think the error message is misleading. I think the file is corrupted.

Same here, downloaded it in Chrome, then Firefox and both installers are broken.

Yea, didn't read the thread since it stated different problem then we got. But apparently it's actually the same one, ours is just on 32 bit systems.

It would indeed be nice if they upload the right file this time, especially since we all already paid...

don't think I be playing tonight, they've already had hours, so it's not a quick fix

I've got to say - is really that hard to reupload the installer? They postponed release roughly by an hour and what we get? Broken DLC?
No matter how the DLC is good, this is going to mark whole reputation of it and BioWare's too...

Sure there are. But, normally, I use games like Mass Effect to escape those bigger problems. So when the games get their own problems, I just sit around, and all my bigger problems pile up on me and drive me MAAAAADDD.

Yes, I skimmed over it as well because it had 64 bit in title, rather irrelevant to 32 bit systems, no?
Borked DLC is borked.
Another day of waiting, Tuesday huh...

The error message in 64 bit systems states that the problem is a compatability issue, hence the original assumption that the problem was with 64 bit. In actuality, the problem is a corrupted installer file, and it doesn't work on any system.
But, yes, from the title it makes sense to skip it if you aren't using a 64 bit system.

I'm on winXP HOME EDITION. This is definately not just a 64bit WIN7 issue!

"Hang in there!" is not the response I was hoping for, nor do I deem it adequate for paying customers. An adequate response would be that they were fixing it. Not tell us that we should be sports about this, and be patient.

Same. And no, that thread ISN'T obvious, because the title says 64 bit, and I'm not running 64 bit.
This is... aggravating. Don't they test these things? I mean this is a big mistake that's hard to miss since it doesn't work for ANY PCs.

FYI, Christina, as much as I normally love your posts (and I do, you give out tons of great info), this goes way beyond "issues". Something we payed for has turned out to be 1.5 gigabytes of trash data. And this time it isn't isolated to particular systems, it's every PC user. That is much worse than mere "issues".

shouldn't be too hard for them to at least tell us what and how long, I don't understand
