When I first saw this on the main page of Dragon Age I went like: YES, FINALY! I went to buy it immediatly and played it a bit ago.
This DLC is the shortest i've ever played...it's a total let down, I would've expected a much longer and better DLC considering it's about one of the main characters of the original campaign that we were all curious about what happened to..
Once again, Bioware, like with The Awakening, you've just rushed it, and considering it's the final DLC (While you promised two YEARS of DLC, considering Expansions) you guys are making for Origins, I would've expected it to go out with a bang, instead the ending would show more like ANOTHER sequel (it left me hungry for another big expansion with all the original characters fighting together once again) but you just pushed origins aside for Dragon Age 2... It makes me so sad a great company like Bioware would do that...I love the games you guys make but...with this i've just lost my faith in the gaming world. (Call me whatever you want but it's the truth.)

Was probably the worst DLC I have played, mainly because of what must be a bug where the choices I made in origins counted for nothing (I did the ritual but she went on about me not letting her). Major let down QQ

Yeah, I want to know if it really is a bug. She denied me even taking part in the ritual, but I did. Like, WTF mate.

Awful. Last time I buy a Bioware DLC. I'd argue why, but I can't do justice to how much of a waste of money that was.

I didn't mind the DLC's shortness or reused areas or anything like that. I'm sure some do, I just want answers to the Morrigan denying I ever helped in the ritual. That kinda peeves me off.



Though I still apparently knocked her up and had a son. Nice nice.

This doesn't give me any confidence for DA2 I know that..



ME1= 9/10 for me

DA:O = 9/10

DA:A = 7/10

Random DLC before this = 6/10

Witch Hunt = 3/10



Seems as though Bioware is rolling down a very steep hill.. Rush rush rush is all I see in everything they've done in the past year or so.. hopefully LotSB is better, otherwise..

It.. worked fine for me and she acknowledged the DR. I actually quite enjoyed it, lots of little references to the game if you checked item descriptions and codex entries. Plus Ariane and Finn were pretty fun.

Hmm, I don't know. I really enjoyed it and I took my time getting through it. I also encountered no bugs besides Masterpiece Silverite runes being armor runes. Morrigan recognized all my choices correctly and even acknowledged that I still had the ring.



The last boss wasn't as hard as The Harvester. It might have just been because when I did the Harvester on the same character I was level 17 and when I did the Venadanawhatever I was 35 and my mage was loaded up in spirit damage gear.



For the character I've completed it with I was very pleased with the ending

Okay, seriously annoyed now. How can she go on about my PC's son while at the same time saying I denied her and didn't go through with the ritual? There's something seriously wonky going on with the plot flags, or something. Devs, please fix this!

So it seems it was definatley a bug... I did a quick playthrough with another char to see, and again she did not aknowledge the ritual... Devs!! >.<

Well that is literally about all that happens, I'm not joking.. She says the world will change in big ways but she still must leave.. she says Flemeth is the one we should be hunting.. and.....the end.. she leaves and the credits roll..

Yeah, Morrigan didn't acknowledge the dark ritual for me either (I used my Awakening save). I wonder if I'll have better luck with it if I try with my tweaked Origins post-game save (using the epilogue editor mod to ensure that the flag was set correctly)?

Holy ****. I'm glad I didn't get to download this. I'm in the camp of Morri-fans, and this sounds like a complete and absolute dissapointment.  Oh well... see you in a few years, Morrigan.

If the Warden has sex with Morrgon at any point she gets pregnant regardless of the ritual.

indeed, I mean it's a little emotional, for the 2 minutes she's on screen, but nothing really comes of it.. pretty much just reaffirmed what she said before in the end of Origins, nothing new or revealing at all.. plus the DLC is shorter than ANY of the others, at least for me..  4 recycled quick areas, one super short new one and a few weapons/armors and runes.. that is it.. I'll have to remember to keep my impulses in check next time as I'd rather have gone and bought some fast food.. for cheaper.. and it would have been more enjoyable..
