It's quite clear Dragon Age was never intended to support importing and transferring saves, because they've completely screwed it up.

The ending made no sense! Half the time she acted like the ritual never happened, other times she did. I'm pretty sure it screwed up my decision in the mages circle too.

Honestly, after all of the power-mad comments Morrigan made in the original campaign, this conversation at the end just seems way out of place. Hmm... maybe Flemeth already possessed her?

No answers, and it was just... so... SAPPY!

Yes, well, take that as further proof that you shouldn't have done it in the first place.

My ending was glitched as well.  Apparently sex with Loghain was so god-awful that Morrigan completely blocked the ritual out of her mind.

I think I can understand her on that part.

I'm sorry, but after this, unless it deals with Morrigan, my Warden, and the God Baby, I don't care what happens in DA2. This is the biggest loose end ever. Warnings of flemeth, of change, my son impacting the future, and my warden following morrigan through the mirror to Bioware knows where. Way more questions than answers. Hopefully they have some sort of expansion before DA2...cuz I want a proper ending to my warden's story.

considering 5 dollars is chump change i still feel i was short changed for this DLC...so very short, on the map they have redcliffe and even mentioned the dwarf merchant went there so I was expecting to be able to go to redcliffe and see my old friends. This was the biggest disappointment and they couldve just added the last conversation with morrigan as a free patch without going through all the jibberish that is 'witch hunt"

I tried all 3 dialogue options, went in the portal with her, let her go and killed her. I wonder if our characters can transport to DA 2 if the option we chose in witch hunt will transport as well.

There's no post conversation save so I doubt it.

I don't think that that is a glitch. I believe that Bw done this on purpose to make it canon. For what ever reason.
But this whole Wh DLC sounds pretty "useless/senseless" to me, so I will not getting it.

If I do get DA2, I will have to import my Character from an DAO save. :o   :P

I didn't run into any bugs, at least the dialogues were correct.. but it was a major let down for me. There should be more after you find Morrigan. Something on the other side or going after Flemeth.

After the dialogue, just before the credits you get a glimpse of Morrigan and your PC infront of a portal and they are not in the Dragonwastes. Seems like they cut out the rest so they can push out the DLC and focus on DA2.

I saw that too, and I was like, "Awesome, I get to see what I've put my self into with my so called love". But then it was credits. And I went, "Duuude. Party foul Bioware"

The one thing that this DLC did was give an agreeable resolution to the Romance story with Morrigan, but that's about it and that luckily happened as my choices were all saved correctly, with the ring and all, so I feel for those whose choices are bugged.

Overall though, as an end to the epic tale of this story, what a terrible disappointment. So we were given a cliffhanger from the original game answered by another cliffhanger with nothing from the first cliffhanger we didn't already know beyond now my warden is with Morrigan still clueless about Flemeth, about the child, about Morrigan's plans, about where the warden is now stepping through the mirror... change is coming means everything and nothing if this is supposed to be the end. How does this sound like a good idea to anyone involved?

such an amazing epic story is left to end like this? Ouch...

I would rather erase this DLC from my mind and stick with the original story's Cliffhanger with an extra slide at the end of the epilogue that said my warden tracked down Morrigan and the two were rumored to have disappeared into a magic mirror together. -THE END-

I hate to say this has to go down as the first time Bioware has really let me down. I expected more from this really good company, but it seems they either didn't have the time or resources to actually write/plan an ending, or simply want to  sacrifice the integrity of the story to advertise for the sequals. Either way Witch Hunt is strike 1.

P.S. I was about to say I threw my money away on this DLC and be angry about it, but then I hoped that money goes to help the sequels improve, or better yet to TOR in which case all is not lost Image IPB

If it wasn't for the items you get out of the DLC, I imagine a lot of people would be asking for their money back, it is not cool to release bugged content. Morrigan's hardly in the bloody thing, and it's all about her! Meeting her in the last 5 minutes of the game before she walks through a portal after explaining *nothing* was the most dissapointing ending I've come across!

Changing the voice actor for Sandal was pretty crap as well.

I loved all three endings
" HUGE SPOILER ALERT HUGE SPOILER ALERT"
My favorite ending is when you wtf pwn morrigan and throw her body into the portal then the evil music goes on.  But i saved before i met her to see all of the endings.  So people who didnt end up with Morrigan in the end buy this DLC because in the end you have the option to Let her go alone, be with her, or kill her.

I didn't mind the fact that the ending raised more questions than it answered, but the fact that Morrigan kept whining that I didn't allow her to perform her ritual really bothered me. I went through all the trouble of convincing whiny King Alistair, who was in a relationship with my Warden, to go ahead and make a baby with Morrigan because I didn't want either of us to have to die.

Whether it's a bug that didn't record what I believe to be the biggest choice I made during my game, or a forced ending revealing that Morrigan not performing the ritual is canon, I was extremely disappointed...the majority of that final conversation with Morrigan had no relevance to the story of my Warden.

I was somewhat disappointed at seeing so little of her as well. At least my playthrough didn't seem to be bugged as a female Cousland. I had romanced Alistair but then saved Loghain and did the DR. She seemed to recognize those choices.

As for Sandal, that was pretty surprising. Couldn't they just use the "Enchantment" voice from Origins. It's not like he said anything else {smilie}

I thought Leli's DLC was much better. I'm hoping that they've left things so mysterious because she will be coming back. It's a shame this is likely the last time the Warden will see her in his/her lifetime...

I wonder when/if we'll see a patch for the bug people are having. Considering how many people are reporting it, and how big a problem it is, I'd think that they would want to get on this one fast. It worked fine for me, so I guess it doesn't matter from a personal perspective, but this bug is a major PR mistake. It's supposed to be the conclusion to the game, and highly dependent on player choice, and then it messed up people's choices. Considering the fact that DA2 comes out in a matter of months, I'd say they need to fix this ASAP so people don't have to worry about their messed up experience during this game.

Did get a bit of bugged dialogue as well. Morrigan saying "Why do you worry that he might take the Fereldan throne" if I asked where the child was.... which made no sense whatsoever considering that I made Anora Queen and rebuilt the Wardens with Alistair. Honestly, I refuse to believe that Bioware spent a lot of time and effort making this DLC, this was probably a DLC for all the Morrigan lovers who wanted to know where happened to their LI.

Do not import from post-epilogue save from origins, I believe that causes the bug. Import from the Epilogue Save itself, right after you kill the archdemon.

I played Witch Hunt then Lair of the Shadow Broker and the difference is so stark it's hard to believe they were made by the same company. Seriously, go over to the ME2 forum and look at the LotSB thank you thread... there's literally an entire thread with no real discussion of the DLC, just endless, well deserved praise.

Bioware B-Team, what happened?

Do you realize that the main feature of Dragon Age Saga should be a world that shapes and models depending on the several choices that we made through the various games?!

Now my question is.. In a small DLC that had to read no more than 3/4 flags we have at least 90% of the users who had their choices messed up... Which guarantees we have now, and how we could ever trust that exporting the setting of a WHOLE world from Dragon Age Origins to Dragon Age 2 will work??????

Now I really have horrible visions of a game which just sets everything randomly and to have all your decisions carried over is only by chance !!

I liked it. I think more than anything, this DLC was targeted at the Male Warden who romanced Morrigan and went through with the Ritual. My warden got the ending I wanted, which was to go wherever Morrigan went. Not much given in the whole answers department, but I'm hoping this is setting us up for DA2, otherwise, if no mention of Warden, Morrigan and God child is brought up... I will not be pleased.

The ending was rather abrupt...

* Morrigan has romantic moment with her baby's daddy, and both step into the creepy mirror, hand in hand, happily ever after *

Dog: *Whine*

Finn: Hey, yeah, great time we had... could of at least said bye.

Ariane: Does this mean I don't get my book back? >:(

The ending to this game sucked. For one I did have her sleep with Alistair in my Origins game and that affected my Awakenings Campaign and my Golems of Amagarrak as well. But this DLC completely ignored the fact that I had given her what she wanted and as such it made no sense at all. So really what did happen I want to know why they messed it up!

Overlord was far better than any of the DA DLCs too.

I'll try LotSB when I've done with this.

Probably a no brainer, but even if I romanced Morrigan, and went through with the ritual, but married Annora, does that screw myself out of the ending where you step through the portal with her?

So far I can either let her go, or fight her.
