Witch Hunt DLC

The ending made no sense! Half the time she acted like the ritual never happened, other times she did. I'm pretty sure it screwed up my decision in the mages circle too.

No answers, and it was just... so... SAPPY!
Yes, well, take that as further proof that you shouldn't have done it in the first place.JakePT wrote...

My ending was glitched as well. Apparently sex with Loghain was so god-awful that Morrigan completely blocked the ritual out of her mind.
I think I can understand her on that part.

I tried all 3 dialogue options, went in the portal with her, let her go and killed her. I wonder if our characters can transport to DA 2 if the option we chose in witch hunt will transport as well.

There's no post conversation save so I doubt it.jasiones wrote...

I don't think that that is a glitch. I believe that Bw done this on purpose to make it canon. For what ever reason.
But this whole Wh DLC sounds pretty "useless/senseless" to me, so I will not getting it.
If I do get DA2, I will have to import my Character from an DAO save.

After the dialogue, just before the credits you get a glimpse of Morrigan and your PC infront of a portal and they are not in the Dragonwastes. Seems like they cut out the rest so they can push out the DLC and focus on DA2.

I saw that too, and I was like, "Awesome, I get to see what I've put my self into with my so called love". But then it was credits. And I went, "Duuude. Party foul Bioware"ev0k3r wrote...
I didn't run into any bugs, at least the dialogues were correct.. but it was a major let down for me. There should be more after you find Morrigan. Something on the other side or going after Flemeth.

Overall though, as an end to the epic tale of this story, what a terrible disappointment. So we were given a cliffhanger from the original game answered by another cliffhanger with nothing from the first cliffhanger we didn't already know beyond now my warden is with Morrigan still clueless about Flemeth, about the child, about Morrigan's plans, about where the warden is now stepping through the mirror... change is coming means everything and nothing if this is supposed to be the end. How does this sound like a good idea to anyone involved?
such an amazing epic story is left to end like this? Ouch...
I would rather erase this DLC from my mind and stick with the original story's Cliffhanger with an extra slide at the end of the epilogue that said my warden tracked down Morrigan and the two were rumored to have disappeared into a magic mirror together. -THE END-
I hate to say this has to go down as the first time Bioware has really let me down. I expected more from this really good company, but it seems they either didn't have the time or resources to actually write/plan an ending, or simply want to sacrifice the integrity of the story to advertise for the sequals. Either way Witch Hunt is strike 1.
P.S. I was about to say I threw my money away on this DLC and be angry about it, but then I hoped that money goes to help the sequels improve, or better yet to TOR in which case all is not lost

Changing the voice actor for Sandal was pretty crap as well.

" HUGE SPOILER ALERT HUGE SPOILER ALERT"
My favorite ending is when you wtf pwn morrigan and throw her body into the portal then the evil music goes on. But i saved before i met her to see all of the endings. So people who didnt end up with Morrigan in the end buy this DLC because in the end you have the option to Let her go alone, be with her, or kill her.

Whether it's a bug that didn't record what I believe to be the biggest choice I made during my game, or a forced ending revealing that Morrigan not performing the ritual is canon, I was extremely disappointed...the majority of that final conversation with Morrigan had no relevance to the story of my Warden.

Kurzan wrote... If it wasn't for the items you get out of the DLC, I imagine a lot of people would be asking for their money back, it is not cool to release bugged content. Morrigan's hardly in the bloody thing, and it's all about her! Meeting her in the last 5 minutes of the game before she walks through a portal after explaining *nothing* was the most dissapointing ending I've come across! Changing the voice actor for Sandal was pretty crap as well.
I was somewhat disappointed at seeing so little of her as well. At least my playthrough didn't seem to be bugged as a female Cousland. I had romanced Alistair but then saved Loghain and did the DR. She seemed to recognize those choices.
As for Sandal, that was pretty surprising. Couldn't they just use the "Enchantment" voice from Origins. It's not like he said anything else ![]()
I thought Leli's DLC was much better. I'm hoping that they've left things so mysterious because she will be coming back. It's a shame this is likely the last time the Warden will see her in his/her lifetime...

It's quite clear Dragon Age was never intended to support importing and transferring saves, because they've completely screwed it up.
Do you realize that the main feature of Dragon Age Saga should be a world that shapes and models depending on the several choices that we made through the various games?!
Now my question is.. In a small DLC that had to read no more than 3/4 flags we have at least 90% of the users who had their choices messed up... Which guarantees we have now, and how we could ever trust that exporting the setting of a WHOLE world from Dragon Age Origins to Dragon Age 2 will work??????
Now I really have horrible visions of a game which just sets everything randomly and to have all your decisions carried over is only by chance !!

The ending was rather abrupt...
* Morrigan has romantic moment with her baby's daddy, and both step into the creepy mirror, hand in hand, happily ever after *
Dog: *Whine*
Finn: Hey, yeah, great time we had... could of at least said bye.
Ariane: Does this mean I don't get my book back? >
