Did it really need to be so abrupt? Throw in an epilogue; SOMETHING. Ugh.

Sounds like Dragon Age got the short end of the stick with today's DLC tag-team. Most over at the ME2 forum seem to agree that Lair of the Shadow Broker was made of varying quantities of awesomesauce. I guess I kind of expected it--while ME2 has had consistently good DLC missions, Dragon Age's haven't been quite so good. I was hoping for more out of Witch Hunt. I'll probably get it anyway, just to complete the collection and clear out the last of the Achievements, but I'm not hoping for any real worthwhile Dragon Age content until Dragon Age 2 (shut up, it's going to be awesome).

You can US without dieing technically.

Do you mean if you import a dead Warden? Then you didn't US in the AU you're playing, Loghain or Alistair did. You can't US without dying because that's what the US ending IS.

Yes you can, refuse ritual kill log/ali job done. Sure you dont sacrifice your own life but you bypass the DR god child and stay alive. In which case my point of the destiny being important to the future of the series stands, its a big deal or morrigan is wrong, unless bioware can write it so it wont make an impact on the plot (Which they probs wont)

I was a bit annoyed about this as well. There was no decent story: Collecting "artefacts" that "lead" to the "villain" is a bit old in my book. And in the end nothing was solved. Who were these elven cultists? What or who ripped the veil in the tower? Was Morrigan behind this? If so, why? Why will poor Finn never talk to this statue again?

I also had the bug, that the game did not acknowledge that I did do the DR (well poor Alistair did), so no information on the god child either. And what is this gift? Anybody got an idea?

I must say, the Leliana download was much, much better. At least you did not only meet her for the last 2 minutes of the game...

I'm glad i used the "epilogue-choices-editor" mod before this DLC or i could get some bug.

Anyhow, the DLC feel short and it remind me that "Lost sensation", too many questions, too little answers.

I've finished WH with 3 different characters and never encountered any bugs. Well, lucky me, I guess...

I think it is the Dalish book Morrigan has stole. At least, that is what I understood.

The ending bugged me. She said I didnt do the DR with my Awakening save (all my Wardens did the DR) so I tried my Origins save and I got the same thing. Kinda pissed me off but at least my male Warden got to go with her, that ending was better then my female Warden. It didnt mention what she gave her, unless the black book next to the Elven book was the Grimore which wouldnt make any sense because isnt it coded? I just feel horribly confused. lol. It was fun though minus the very confusing ending.

Link, please?

That sounds like an excellent mod to try.

whats up with the endings, she knew it was me and we went thru together but then the credits roll even tho the game seems to want to continue cause i see me and morrigan the other side of the mirror (for a moment then the gui screen).
then i tried it again and let her go,she leaves the book and a special something for me,but again the credits roll and again the game glitches to me,finn, the elf and dog outside in the place where we killed the beast.
wierd (for a moment then the gui screen).

what was the special present she left?
should the dlc have ended there or was there more?

Epic fail, fool me once,... well you know the rest.

I really can't believe they did this. Even as a free DLC it would be garbage.

At the end of my playthrough, she mentioned she left the Dalish book as well as another gift for my Warden.  What I'm wondering is, did Morrigan actually leave my Warden something of significant value in the Dragon Age world, or was she simply alluding to the DLC items that transfer into Origins and Awakening?

Mine luckily wasn't too bugged- Morrigan did say to me that her child would not be vying for the throne of Ferelden, so it was nice that she at least acknowledged (the ONLY person to, anyways) that Alistair was king with my female Cousland as Queen or whatever.

But seriously, seriously, disappointed. I know Bioware was trying to set up the whole thing as a way to move into DA2 with these hints, but it was marketed as 'Morrigan's secrets finally revealed!' LIARS! All I got was even more confusion than before!

And this is coming from someone who enjoyed all the DLC. That says something.

No word from bioware about any of this?

Very sad end of a great game.

Had bugs, none of my choices were recognized.

I will think twice before buying DA2, that's for sure.

.

She said that to my character as well and my mage made Anora Queen and ran off to rebuild the Wardens with Alistair. I think it's just a similar bug to when Morrigan and Alistair talk as if Alistair is king (in Redcliffe when suggesting the DR) when he isnt.

DLC obviously assumes that the US (Ultimate Sacrifice) was not made if you use the Warden from origins. So if you import the epilogue save where you did do the US, but refused the DR, does it assume that you let the other warden in your party (whether Alistair or Loghain) take the sacrifice?

I've finished it and gosh, what a piece of crap. 2 hours for 5 bucks and then it was pretty much EXCLUSIVELY revisiting old areas (either in Origins or Awakening). Not even five minutes of Morrigan, and absolutely zery conclusion or satisfaction to be had.

I just paid 7 bucks to get an advertisment for Dragon Age 2. Thanks a lot.

I really didn't like this content. Of course, that may just be my perception based on the character I played. I played a City Elf who avoided romance with any of the other characters thinking one day he might return to his bride, or otherwise spend the rest of his days trying to make Ferelden a better place. And he didn't do the dark ritual, so chasing after Morrigan to begin with seemed way out of character. None of the possible endings were satisfying to me. The ONLY purpose this content served was to tell the player that Flemeth survived and will be back in DA2.

Of course my other main playthrough was a Dwarven noble that showed his bronto to anything willing, who did do the DR. So maybe that would've made more sense. But I can't be bothered to play it again. I played through Origins three total times (with many more incomplete characters), Awakening twice, plus all the DLC... and I think it's time for me to retire this game and wait for the sequel.

And on a footnote... thank god for LotSB.

I'd like to know this as well. The ending was so abrupt I wasn't sure if it had glitched. It was pretty awful. This is not a fitting final DLC and I will think twice about purchasing future ones where you don't have your usual companions. Seems like the quality just went downhill (except for Leli's).

I was really looking forward to buying the WH DLC, but I've been seeing tons of disappointed people in here, especially with the epilogue and and the DR.

So to be *very* specific about that, to everyone who's had the DR problem with Morri. Was the DR done by your Warden and it wasn't being recognized or just that the DR was done with either Alis/Logh?

Because if Bioware cant get what I consider an important DLC for a major character done right than what does that say for DA2? Thanks in advance.

All I got was the back of Morrigan's hand. Couldn't there at least have been a dialogue option, after she says "You're still alive, good for you," for us widowed Wardens to answer "I lost everything in that battle" or something along those lines? If this is the last chapter in our sagas, it's a pretty weak one.

Preach it, sister.  I know exactly how you feel.  My first playthrough of DA:O resulted in an unwanted sacrifice by Alistair.  It was absolutely gutting.  And there's no way to even mention Alistair to Morrigan when she upbraids the Warden.

lolwut? That was a short ass DLC and it confused me to a degree..

***SPOILERS***

So Flemeth is something other than an abomination, as some have suggested, she's probably a godchild herself from one of the previous Archdemons, or she's something else entirely. (Maybe some old deity)

But what got me weirded is that Bioware has said that they're not done with Morrigan, and my Warden followed her through the mirror. Does that mean that if we meet Morrigan in DA2, she'll be all like "oh the Warden? he's over there picking flowers, Way over there so you can't see him" or "he's dead.." o.O

Uhhh, my dlc is bugged :( I let Alistair sleep with Morrigan and become king.So none of us died.  The game doesn't take this in. However she doesn't acknowledge that whatsoever blames me for not doing the ritual, neither does she answer any questions. Well so much for Witch hunt..

I actually liked the DLC. I really don't get why people are flipping out about it, other than the irritating plot flag bugs. Certainly my favorite DLC since RTO.

I agree that those friggin plot flags for the romance should seriously be fixed. They have been broken for some time. Beyond that, really, it was more than worth the money.

So, Bioware basically rehashed the Dalish, Mage, and Dwarf "origins", (i.e. from the OC, before Duncan arrives on the scene), then adds a dash of Awakenings, and a short, cryptic conversation with Morrigan, then releases it as DLC, that I was fool enough to pay for.

I thoroughly enjoyed DAO, was disappointed by DAA, and feel ripped off by this.
