Did anyone else notice that if you play as a mage, you can get a "You're in my light" line to Finn, in reference to the origin... Except in the origin, 'Finn' is actually an elf named Eadric. Why use the damn line if you're going to change the race and name? I'd imagine they were too lazy to even bother looking, and someone just happened to remember that line and thought it would be cute.

I got that line in at least one of my non-mage playthroughs - definitely in my DE game, maybe even in my HN game.

Really? I only played with my mage, so I didn't know that. Does Finn say "oh, I remember you," too? I'm wondering if that's just for mages, or if it's a bugged dialogue choice. Wouldn't surprise me. ^_^

No, never got "I remember you" . . .my HN did get "you look like you can break me in half", but no remembering me - I'd have found that really weird

Okay, so after installing the beta patch I managed to get a non-buggy ending. Thoughts...

My city elf told Morrigan she wanted to go with her. I like the fact that she was given this conversation option. I found it interesting that Morrigan refused on the grounds that going through the portal required some sacrifice that she did not want my Warden to have to make. That said, I would have liked to chance to accompany her - but I realise that this is "something special" for those who have romanced Morrigan.

On the whole, I still feel a bit jipped. There was so little Morrigan as a percentage of the overall DLC (which itself was quite slim - my speed playthrough for the patch test, skipping through conversations, was 40 minutes). But I no longer feel annoyed about the DLC, which I did when I encountered the bug.

I just wish my Warden could have asked more about Alistair and Morrigan's son. I wish that some of my character's jealousy - that Morrigan could give Alistair a son that the Warden herself could never give him - could have been conveyed.  I wish that the topic of Alistair could have even come up (he was notably absent from the bugged ending, which I assume presumed the Warden Commander ending to DA:O considering that my Warden was alive, Loghain was dead, and Morri thought the Dark Ritual had not been accepted - so his life would have been the price for ensuring her plan did not happen). But hey. I guess this just wasn't meant to be. Perhaps I'll find out why my Warden mysteriously disappeared in the epilogue to Awakening during a later Dragon Age game. Perhaps not. Maybe fanfic is the only way. (I am only ever driven to write fix fic, and this is a prime candidate.)

The first issue is the bug they're working on a fix for.

The second issue . . .we have no idea . . .may be fixed with the patch they're working on, may just be . . .well, nothing . . . .

Well, upon loading the autosave that's created after Morri goes into the portal, it just cuts straight to the credits. So maybe we're never meant to know what she left us...

My DE got this "light" line as well. Maybe it's an in joke for elves?

Has anyone tried loading their character into one of the other dlc's after playing this one? Maybe the 'thing of great interest' shows up in the inventory?

In golems of amgarrak my first char (the one i played with both origins and awakening) worked perfectly, but in witch hunt it's a total mess.

Nope, the only two characters I've put through so far have been Couslands and they got the line. I think it's there for everyone.
It's certainly a reference to Eadric in the mage origin - but only people who played through the origin would understand it, I suppose.
Finn doesn't say "I remember you too" to other characters.

The interacting with Morrigan wasn't the beginning and end all of my Warden's world. Thats why this DLC is most aggravating because less Morrigan was fine with me and I would have rather had interactions or a DLC with other characters from DAO. But this is just me. . .

Totally agree. I thought maybe as we're chasing her, we'd be frequently just missing her. They could have found a reason for us to drop in certain places and said a final farewell to each companion, especially our LI's, then we could have finally caught up with her. It was a good story, but not a good enough end
