I was male cousland, romanced her, got ring (never took it off ever, always had it on, just like you). Did DR, talked to her in Denerim (so went to friend), gave her the mirror in Epilogue (to go back to love) got both Morrigan epilogues from Orirings and Awakening.



I thought using the mirror might have been the problem, so I went back and did not talk to her in Denerim (so she never left 'love' status), then did not do Awakening... but no dice... both playthroughs I had the bug.



I guess I could try talking to her, then not giving her the mirror, and see if that does it. But either way shouldn't matter, if I did the dark ritual then I did the dark ritual. Stupid bugs.

So, the DLC Ending is the only bugged part? I'm shocked, and yet I'm impressed at the same time. I'll wait a few weeks before I grab it.

So i take it that Morrigan can not be killed in the DLC witch hunt. Total disappointment since there seems to be no save file i guess even if you could kill Morrigan it does not really count. Looks like i get to save some money on this DLC by not buying it.

Seriously, until they fix whatever bug it is that screws up the whole point of the Origins ending (do the DR or not), I highly recommend nobody buy this piece of crap.



Not a great DLC in the first place, and with that bug - yea, trash.

What confused me was this. In my story I romanced her, and took her to the battle with me at the end of origins. I kept the ring on my character ever since I had it. I was talking to her, and she said I betrayed her, and abandoned her, and that she left before the battle. Although when I was fighting the archdemon, she was right there with me....?? Then she says I had a child. So obviously I didn't betray her and she was with me in the fight (which actually happened).



So I don't know if I did something to betray her other than following her. And the fact that it said she left the night before the battle, when she actually did not and she fought with me, tells me something is up with this. Was it because I did origins, then awakening, then the new golem dlc, then with hunt? Maybe it lost my game record or something? =/



I also saw someone said she acknowledged them still having the ring, I did to, but she said nothing of it.

I played my FemCousland who married Alistair and became Queen, and Alistair had to sleep with Morrigan. did I get to hear about this corrupted stepson of mine? No. I got chewed out for not allowing her the ritual....which I did allow. I allowed my fiance to sleep with her so we could both live.

Since my ending was bugged, I watched a youtube video of an unbugged ending.  So, if the warden goes through the mirror with Morrigan, he just abandons poor Dog?  I hope the video just cut off before we could see Dog follow after them.

Is there an awful ending bug? That sucks! Morrigan seemed to acknowledge the ritual just fine for me... but then.. just before I imported a character, I noticed that during the post coronation scene, that Loghain wasn't acknowledging that the ritual happened either... so I modded it real fast, in case that flag was important... I wonder if that made a difference at all... ?

Relieved t know its not just my end chat which is messed up. Was ready to hit my computer as i listened to that last conversation which just seemed to make no sense. We had a child but we didn't do the ritual even though i remember that happening quite clearly and i betrayed her even though she was with me right to the end. Seriously ruined he whole thing. Wont be playing again till its fixed

I'm glad you noticed the problem and fixed it for yourself.

Unfortunately, that doesn't help anyone on the xbox or the PS3.

What flag was it that you fixed, though, exactly?  It may help me figure out what the hell it's reading wrong for me, even though I can't mod it.

Nope, I played my FemCousland who had King Alistair sleep with Morrigan so we could both stay alive and rule the kingdom together, and I got Morrigan ****ing at me that I hadn't let her do the ritual.

Argh.

sucks for people with bugs who really wanted the full impact of the dlc. i had no bugs at all.i replayed it, deciding not to kill her this time, but instead, i went with her through the portal to hell.

Major dissapointment. This had so much potential. I didn't encounter bugs (She aknowledged the DR) but the shortness, vague "revelations" and the idiotic cliffhanger at the end were so awful. I was expecting for it to go on. That I'd have to use the elven book to follow her further... and BOOM, credits rolling. THAT is how Bioware wants to end the Warden's story? On a cliffhanger with some DA2 references? Cheap sellout, Bioware! I am utterly dissapointed.

Velkir Tabris City elf rogue. Had no bug in my ending walked to her Ariane told Fin to give me some time with her....then Tethlis (thats my dog) jumped her and she actually was happy to see him ( i knew she was a softy for him) then she geets me got a conversation told her i was here to see here again i did not mention the child then she got all sad and munchy said id go with her no matter what cause i loved her then she kiss me were all happy n stuff we go to the mirror and Boom credits (omg i left the dog behind nooo!!)

DLC was really short obviously a set up for the next game companions were awesome i think i want Ariane as a LI in DA 2 she is awesome..Fin is cool too whiney mage is funny  so personally beside being way to short that was a decent dlc wasent expecting too much revelation i already had a  feeling this was a DA 2 cliff hanger last scene with morrigan was touching could tell she stil loved the warden.

 Nope once you go through the mirror you get credits. Poor dog is left all alone and that dalish never gets her book back. Maybe they join up and she becomes his new master.

Why can't I talk back to them during the conversation? Through the whole terribly wrong history morrigan tells me and I walk through the portal with her, I apparently ignore anything about the two companions and my dog. Even though I wanted to say something or see closure on what happens. It's too good for me apparently.
