Woah. So many selfish pricks in this thread. The ugly head of the BioWare forum community rears once again.
That happens about twice a day.

Update : I was too getting annoyed by this problem so i took a look at Miss Christina Norman's twitter Account and she says
"Yep! We are testing a fix you read this! @truffle [not everyone has access to shadow broker, I'm sure that will be figured out by the end.] "
So they have a testing fix going on so hopefully it'll be out a little later..
Unfortunately, despite twitter telling me that was only posted 6 miuntes ago

No, you wouldn't.
Here I thought this thread couldn't get any worse. Everyone remember that if you want to prove a point you don't need to resort to personal insults to do so.

Ah you have to understand silverhammer08 we are just PC gamers, we are meant to accept everything without grumbling or complaining. If it takes Bioware another month to fix the DLC on the PC then to some on here that is acceptable and we should not complain because we are PC gamers and we should be ever so ever so grateful that they even bothered to take the time to support the PC /sarcasm

For all we know it could take them DAYS... so stop this talk about "a few hours".felicat wrote...
*shrugs* okay.. i paid for the DLC.. i downloaded it... noticed it won't work, checked the forums, found the reason.
where's the problem? hey... waiting a few hours longer doesn't mean the world stops turning... take some time and think about all the MMORPG's out there and how many problems they have with new content... patches over patches.. all in all over days.
waiting a few hours or maybe a day is no problem at all.
Even the biggest companys make mistakes... it's only human
That's not the point.
The problem lies in that BioWare/EA happily took my money WITHOUT PROBLEMS OR ISSUES for a product that was deemed READILY AVAILABLE and I did not receive said product.
Don't get me wrong, I love and support BioWare 100%; but this is just so utterly sloppy and such a bonehead mistake that it makes you wonder what in the frack they were doing when they uploaded this file.
Next time you go to your favorite fast-food joint, fork over your cash and then receive an empty box with no food in it and they tell you to stand there and wait until, OH, they feel like giving you your food that you paid for while they already have your money...tell us how that goes for you. Last time I checked, I plunked money down for a DLC, not to give BioWare/EA a $10 loan (multiplied by THOUSANDS of buyers, no doubt).
What an idiotic comparison since you WILL get what you paid for. Fast food joint indeed. Good grief some of these kids.
That comparison could use a lot of work indeed. Those two things are worlds apart from each other. And in no way the same thing
I love how the same people will use that analogy to justify the DLC value, but then suddenly, it holds no merit when the argument is turned. Not that I'm making a statement on the value; I'll happily pay 800 points for Liara, but double standard much?

Before I begin, some people ARE freaking out too much. That said, they fix issues right away? You mean like the problems with automatic logouts on this site? How about, you know, the DLC in question? Just because other developers are worse does not make Bioware's handling of this any better. I agree that freaking out isn't helping, but I completely disagree with the implication that there's nothing to be upset about. PC gamers are, once again, given the comparative shaft. Is my money less valuable, or am I less important altogether, because I play at a desk instead of on a couch?shep82 wrote...
You know I really hate how people are flaming bioware for this. Glitches happen all the time not game or extra content is free of glitches. Here is why I still buy from bioware despite issues like this. They actually give a damn and fix issues right away. It saddens me that people bash bioware when they are among a select few developers that actually care enough to tell us what is going on and trying to fix it asap. Many other developers wouldn't even bother. It saddens me that we have to wait but I'd rather wait and get a working product.
Also, I had to make an effort to find just out the DLC was broken. I could not find the DLC to purchase, nor any notice in attempting to find it. Then again, every other page I had to log in (and no mention of repeat logout problems in the FAQ). I shouldn't have to go to forums and beyond to find fixes for these problems.

I guess the modern world is too much of a rush for me. Keeping up with the flow's hard work, not the kind I'm cut out for. But, correct me if I be wrong, the point of creating threads like this is merely to convey a certain info desired by the masses so all our ranting is of no consequence, really. Perhaps it would be wise to ask Bioware to post us some emails when the issue is fixed, no?

Um... I understand what your saying that we need to relax... but I think the whole pakistan comment was a little to much for such a small topic..
Ehh. I have to agree with you there. People tend to get a little out of hand when something like this happens. HAH. Makes me want to see if they could even do a better job.
