And wetlock? Wetlock?  Someone needs to brush up on their vocabulary.

So, are the rightfully upset people still being condescended to by the disciples of a business whose chief interest is their money?

You already lost your money when you bought the points, not the DLC.

I never mentioned buying anything, only being upset over the delay.  Nice try, though.

One other thing for all of you morons who have nothing better to do than to **** about this relatively minor glitch...keep it up. Turn Bioware off to making additional PC games with your constant moaning and groaning and negative/untrue comments.

Sorry but the complaining from the PC customers on this board is going to have absolutely no impact on whether Bioware makes more PC Games.  It all comes down to money...if the moneys there then Bioware will make PC titles, if it's not then they'll stop, doesn't matter how much complaining occurs on this forum....

What it might mean is that for ME3 they release less DLC, perhaps they figure it is more trouble than its worth?  Just saying

Again, if it's profitable it will happen, if not it won't.  One thing thats for sure all this DLC costs more than what would normally be considered an expansion for other titles and there's less content.  DLC is the way of the future because it's a more profitable model than the expansion set model.

I'm just being one of these annoying people who tear other people apart because I have nothing better to do.  No seriously, I just figured I'ld chime in to a seemingly intelligent topic, instead of really trying to argue with all this.  Because it would be an exercise in futility

People shouldn't get all up in arms, 'cause a riot is an ugly thing.

I just love the fact that all games developers think that one simple sentence makes everything alright. It is mainly used by MMO developers...

"Thank you for your patience and understanding."

Maybe governments should start to use it in Iraq and Afganistan and any future conflicts. Maybe suicide bombers will have it sewn into their bomb vests.

Ah yes, logical arguments, we have dismissed this claim.

Of course they are going to pull a nightshift until its done

Prove it then, I see no evidence they will pull a nightshift to fix the issue.  You just refuse to accept it because in your view Bioware can do absolutely no wrong.  At this point I am sure if Chris ran you over you would still thank him and think he was the most wonderful person on the whole planet.

Well alright, I dont have anything except circumstantial and personal evidence but here goes

1) its a problem, no one likes to go home with a problem over their heads. I stay late all the time at work to fix a problem so I dont have to worry about it overnight and I can enjoy it with my buds and a beer.

2) Its a company, and not goo business practice to go home while there is still a problem.

3) Its a canadian company, and being a local from alberta, a few hours away from Bioware Edmonton, I have trust in them to do what is right.:wizard:

Im half way through mass effect 2, and ive not yet spoken to Liara (my romance from ME1). Should I wait till i have finished the game before installing the DLC or install the DLC before i visit her?

:) thx

I'd recommend completing her missions. Gives you something to do and it is a lead up to the DLC.

The information would be better placed in a notice on the DLC purchase page.  I didn't like having to go to a forum (which kept logging me out) to find what was going on.

well i would say its not Bioware the biggest thing... I mean i played bioware game since long and I played EA games since long... EA games often (very often) had glitches often majors ( i remember an NF2 where i couldn't play because it refused to recognize my keyboard)... bioware had very few minors glitches... but true since they are in EA payroll.... its getting worse... does not make me hope the best for SWTOR

Fiasco? Really? This is not a fiasco.  This is a minor inconvienice at the worst and a slight annoyance otherwise.  So what you may not be able to get it today, you already paid and they will provide it when they make sure no other errors exist.  They probably want to double and triple check to make sure any possible errors are fixed

Putting a major, well hyped product up for sale and then being unable to deliver on it because at first you were uploading it at the 11th hour, and second the file was completely empty, is a huge fiasco.  It speaks volumes about incompetence and lack of quality control with the people that bioware hires to get us our products.

I'm not one of those people who wants someone fired, or is screaming about a refund, or claims they will never buy another bioware product.

But it's a big, ridiculous error on bioware's part.  It will make me more cautious when purchasing products from them.  I probably will only buy the ones I REALLY want, as opposed to ones I might be inclined to purchase on a whim.  Because, you see, when someone makes buying their products a hassle, you buy less of them.

That's why getting out product should be as easy and trouble-free as possible.  Last night I had to spend 5 minutes looking for a way to buy bioware points so I'd be able to easily get the Shadow Broker DLC today.  That's very silly.  There should be a big link on the front page telling me that I can buy bioware points any time I like just by clicking it.

Really professional companies understand that you want to streamline things like, "getting money from your customers" and "getting the product to the paying customers".  If it's an easy, and trouble free process to buy things from a company, they tend to get more business, their customers aren't frustrated, and everyone wins.

I LIKE bioware's products and that's why their shoddy online business model upsets me.  I would prefer it if they would spend the time to get their house in order so I don't trip over piles of dirty laundry on the floor when I come to visit.
