Did anyone else feel like the narrative regarding the Shadow Broker made him a little more menacing than indicateed in ME1 and ME2? Also, what will ME3 be like for those players who don't play the DLC? Sort of takes a big piece out of that puzzle.

Read my review at "The Bunker". http://jasonkobely.c...ker-dlc-review/

BTW, really liked the music with this DLC. First time I noticed that in a positive way in a DLC.

Though it DID include my favorite lines to date.

"Remember the old days...when you could just stick omni gel on everything?"
"Yes, that upgrade made a lot of people angry"

Dude, I literally paused the game so I coould laugh when I heard that one. Thats why I tell people you need to take at least one run through ME1 before going through ME2 or you'll miss the beauty of some dialouge. :D

Thank you Bioware, this DLC is awesome!

Is anyone else having a problem picking either the paragon or renegade options on the first boss fight? I just maxed out the paragon and renegade points in gibbed and I still can't select either one...

I do have the same problem. I think you can select paragon option only if you have saved the council and rachni and have enough paragon points. If either one of those does not fit - you can't select it. Same goes for the renegade option.

That's not it, I just gibbed in saving the council and I still only have greyed out options.

That's a bug......

After you complete the mission has anyone checked out the videos? After seeing one all I'll say is:

"This...is...TUUCHUNKAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

LotSB was a blast. Definitely worth the few bucks spent. (That backdrop while on the ship was just plain AWESOME.) And plenty of humor, too. I particularly enjoyed the character information in the terminal at the end. I laughed pretty hard at most of em. And yes, some lines were great.

Double the fun since Liara was my main shep's LI. :>

Cons: There were multiple parts where enemies didn't die by biotically throwing them off the buildings, so the game wouldn't continue. (Once after you just land on Azure, once fighting the boss on Azure) Each time I had to reload the latest save and NOT use biotic throws to kill my enemies. :/

I should thank Bioware for making the dossiers of your squadmates. I liked Tali's, Legion's, Garrus's and Jack's dossiers the most.

Anyway, loved the dlc. Even though I DID experiance my fair share of glitches. Audio cutouts etc.
Was sort of dissapointed with the whole shadow broker explanation. I feel this probably should of been dealt with in ME3, or even in ME2. Not in DLC. The shadow broker seems to be a too big a charecter for just DLC. Let alone just three hours.

I'm wondering how they will explain ********** Assuming Liara does in fact play a large part as ********It will need SOME form of explanation.

Especially for the countries where the dlc is not availible.

IMO Bioware is free to explore a broader set out widey divergent outcomes in the end because ME3, being the last chapter of a trilogy, isn't bound by the stanard canonical devices of being a prequel or sequel.  So the choices that you make can now lead to some greater in-story differences.

So it's possible that it wouldn't be explained at all because it never happens if you didn't complete this DLC.

Hey can't help but notice. I had an achievement bug the other day (showing more gamerscore in one place than another) So I recovered my gamertag. After doing so then all 5 new achievements for mass effect 2 and the new ones for dragon age for that matter, had all lost their icons leaving blank squares above the earned achievement. I logged in on microsofts site and it was the same. Could bioware or someone here investigate it? Log in on MS's site and see if the icons are showing otherwise lest you recover your gamertag and end up with weird blank icons.

Is it verified as a bug? I wasn't able to get the option on one playthrough, but I did have the paragon option available on another. And saving the council isn't one of the requirements, because I didn't and Shepard references that fact.

Well, adding in the highest possible paragon/renegade points to the save with gibbed (2,147,483,647 pts) didn't give me any luck.

Then it must be a random bug. Because my Paragon bar is completely filled........

It might be unlocked when you choose certain answers. I had it locked too, even though my paragon bar is full.

I got that bug on my very first playthrough too. I had to reload from a previous save to see him visable in the scene.
I was playing as female shepard (romance liara), on the xbox 360 when I experienced this invisible drell issue in the exact same place you describe.

Also experienced severe sound cutouts (on and off constantly) during the traffic section on 2 occations.

Well it'd be kinda cool if Liara found the shadowbroker on her own and took over if you didn't do the DLC. And as a result her actions and honesty as the shadowbroker could be diminished or there could be some other form of consequence (thats insignificant to the grander scheme of things or gameplay)  just some nicer dialog for players that helped her through it.

It took me 3 days to get the DLC running, but it is all worth it in the end. A lot of much needed closure for both ME 1 and 2, thanks team Bioware.

This might have been asked before, but for those that have already played LotSB, there is something I'm wondering. Bioware said the dialogue would be "heavily weighted" towards those who have already finished the suicide mission. Did anybody see any obvious signs of this? Would the DLC be a better experience if saved until after the suicide mission is complete?

Finally, if anybody is playing through this on insanity, how is/was the difficulty compared to the rest of the game?

Okay, slightly odd problem. Just played through on my Sentinel all the while thinking something was.. off.

Her sniper rifle has vanished (bonus weapon). Just gone, it was there at the start on the squad/weapons selection screen. But as soon as I was actually in the LotSB DLC it just *pff'd*.

Went away, never to return, even after finishing it and being back on the Normandy.

hm, never encountered that... my bonus weapon (Mattock Rifle) stays with me throughout the DLC.
Is the weapon also still gone when you load a previous savegame ?

Weird.

Checked earlier saves, also gone. Checked other chars, all fine, went back into the affected char, and it's back. No clue what the hell that was.

slightly strange different glitch instead now: "The Ghost Gun".

Hm, have not seen that one either, are you playing on a PC ?

What I have seen in the main game though is, that if you already have shredder ammo and then train in armor piercing, you can't select the shredders anymore... that wee'd me off a little xD

Yep, on PC.

As to the shredder/armour piercing thing: Both are bonus powers gotten from gaining a squaddies loyalty. You can only have one of those powers at any one time, retraining just lets you select a different one, not an additional one.
