I know, I meant that you can install DLC in English, regardless of game language versione-lancer wrote...
You don't even have to download and install it in English!
Open the Registry Editor and find the folowing key:
32bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ SOFTWARE \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ BioWare \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Mass Effect 2
or
64bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ SOFTWARE \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Wow6432Node \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ BioWare \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Mass Effect 2
Inside find the String called "Language" and change the value from "cz" to "en". After the installation of any English DLC change it back to "cz"...
I guess instead of "cz" he would have to change "pl" to "en"... Hungarian players detto...
Everything smoothly playable, just a few lines of text in that particular DLC are in English, all else in language of your preference...
But it's good that you posted the way how, not everyone likes to dig through registry on their own.
On the side note, I changed 'pl' to 'int' instead of 'en', but it worked too.

I would suggest doing it after the suicide mission.Elentar01 wrote...
Just a quick question, I've restarted playing me2 from the beginning and have just arrived on Illium. I know you can play lotbs before and after the main quest, but should I go play it now, or should I wait till after the main?
Since this section of the forums is to be kept free from spoilers though, I'd rather tell you in a message as to why you should do it this way.

I'd have to agree. Although it can be played before the conclusion of the main story, the dialogue of the characters in LotSB is weighted towards the player having already completed the main game.

I would think so. Never experienced graphical errors of this magnitude myself, but with the amount of different hardware available on the PC-Market, it's totally possible for a program to bug out.contown wrote...
So what was the problem exactly? Did it only affect PC users?
Also, the people who write the programs can't foresee every incompatibility, so there are bound to be at least a few people affected by errors and stuff.

Yea, lot of people with Gforce 7XXX experiencing this glith...I had to disable motion blur to solve the problem. Stil dont know whats the deal that it causes the trouble in this partiular dlc.
Bad sigh with BW and their dlcs lately. One thing after another. Maybe the company became too big to see and solve the "small problems"? I dont know.
I just finished the dlc on insanity. And it was fun. Really. Especially the epilogue after the broker fight. I enjoyed the talks more than the constant shooting

I'm not going to hate on your hardware, but the 7xxx Cards from nVidia are also having problems with newer drivers.hangmans tree wrote...

A buddy of mine could not use the newest drivers for his SLI 7xxx Gforce (forgot the exact ID of the Card). Windows always displayed a black screen, but without newer drivers he could not play a certain game.
In the end he had to get himself a card from a newer generation, there was no fix available at all for the old one.
This is likely not an oversight on Biowares part, it is more of a fault of nVidias drivers for your card.

This might be a stupid question, but how do you get the mission? I have installed the DLC, but I just can't seem to get the mission. The wiki says "A message is sent to Shepard's private terminal from Cerberus", but I haven't received any message. I've tried going to Illium and back on the Normandy. I've tried going from one deck to another on the Normandy in hopes that it would trigger something.
I'm having this problem, too. The achievements are listed so it's (presumably) all installed. A few times, Kellly has told me I have a message but there isn't one, starting right after I installed it. I don't know what to do now.

Probably true, the 7 series (and I think some of the very low 8 series) were the last nvidia cards to have separate vertex and shader units before they were unified. Support for the cards has been dropping off for more than a year, still bugged with flags and some other objects in WOW for example since before wolk launched. Some of the optional features, video in on the 7800gtx hasn't been supported since vista came out. Pitty as they are still great cards at lower res.

Tks. I'll have to check it out today. I was pretty sure it was a switch, but it wasn't activated. Guess I'll just start the level again.

Okay, that's like the 3rd or 4th time in just the few pages I've read that I see you use the word "gibbed." What on earth does that mean?? I've been trying to figure it out from the context of the posts and can't even hazard a guess!CShep25 wrote...
Well, adding in the highest possible paragon/renegade points to the save with gibbed (2,147,483,647 pts) didn't give me any luck.

Also, CShep25 should have noticed that any changes made in the Editor regarding plot related stuff from ME1 will only be noticed once you start a new game with that savegame if you have beat the suicide mission.
