Are those all items that are rewards for Origins/Awakenings characters? That's what we (or I, at least) are interested in.
If so, specific stats would be appreciated.

I would say:
The Sorrows of Arlathan = Far Song (missing that crucial +attack, but it's free)
Belt of Skillful Maneuvering ~= Andruil's Blessing (depending on how important mana/stam regen is to the character)
Dragonbone Cleaver < Chasind Great Maul (8 Willpower cannot match 75 Stamina)
Vestments of the Seeker ~= Reaper's Vestments (depending if you would rather have the defense of dodge or the offense of spellpower)

I like Dragonbone Cleaver better than Chasind Great Maul simply because it's a battleaxe, and there aren't any great battleaxes in the game, at all. Not in origins, at least (but the Awakening battleaxes on dragonage wikia don't look particularly incredible).

since an awakenings rogue can now get 100% dodge with it i'm thinking it's pretty cool

what good are the new items if you cant use them except in Witch Hunt?
When I start new Awakenings I am unable to import from Witch Hunt, only origins.

It's not an import into situation - the gear should simply be in your inventory for all your characters, once you complete WH.

Those items appear in your inventory in your Origins and Awakening games. You don't need to do any importing.Gabeker wrote...

As for the Chasind Great Maul vs. Dragonbone Cleaver discussion.... I, for one, Prefer Dragonbone Cleaver. it does more damage. 2-handers live and die by their criticals. And here you have a weapon with a higher base damage, a higher critical chance, and which bestows an added critical damage bonus percentage on top of that.
