Bugged for me- my Warden romanced her and gladly did the DR, yet acted as if I denied her the Ritual. Its a great little DLC but the bugged ending, just like Awakening, really kills it.

It kind of had the same effect on me as Zombie Jowan did. I opted to execute him with my own hands as I figured I owed him that much. When I finally got around to curing the old fogey Jowan was suddenly alive and about to be executed for a second time.

While somewhat hilarious this kind of stuff just shouldn't happen in a game which prides itself on its plot.

Both platforms that have it launched (360 / PC) seem to suffer this bug.

I never spoke to her after the DR voluntarily. There's that scene where everyone in your party speaks to you, and that's when I spoke to her (you can't not).

Male human noble origin

-romanced Morrigan

-did the DR and didn't talk to her after

-alistair ruled alone

-and I imported an end-save from awakening.

Seems like the same king of sloppy programming that lead to the Conrad Verner bug in ME2.

Have to say that these kinds of bugs are right amateuristic. And without fear of jumping the gun here, my guess would be that any kind of fix will have to come from the modders. Hope Bioware proves me wrong though with a patch...

I find it sad that a newly released product needs a patch immediately after it becomes available.  Why the heck even release it then?

Quick DLC money. That and publishers don't exactly take kindly to delays.

1) Romanced her. Did not end the romance.
2) Did NOT get the ring (but I'm 200% sure that the romance did not end)
3) Loghain lives. Alistair and Anora rule joinly.
4) Did the dark ritual
5) Chose to "look after Morrigan" at the end of Origin.
6) Import the save from Awakening

Yet, she told me that I refused her ritual.
However, she did mention "our son" a few times.
At the end, my warden went through the mirror with her to look after his son.

Well, it's a democratic bug. It affects males and females, different races and classes, PC and console players, people who romanced Morrigan and people who didn't, people who imported from DAO and from Awakening, who spoke with morrigan in Denerim and who didn't, those who used mods and those who didn't...

Basically almost everyone (?) except those who chose the US, who right now must be laughing their **** off

(unless Morrigan is telling them that they accepted the ritual...)

They had might as well stack an achievement on it just for avoiding this glitch. I think that is worth about 100 GP at this point if you can somehow avoid it.

Alzheimers would make it so she wouldn't remember the DR, though. This seems more a case of lyrium withdrawal where she things I didn't do the ritual and "YOOOU BETRAYYYEDDD ME!!! [drunken hic]"

I hate to be "that guy" as I was a huge fan of DAO when it came out and to this day am such a huge Mass Effect nerd that I feel like I have to buy every bit of ME merchandise I can find, but I'm running to a point in which I am truly wondering whether or not I am actally going to buy DA2. Why is this BioWare production team so incompetent that it can't even make a major decision like this one work out the way it is supposed to? Mass Effect had its share of continuity problems, but at least the quests that had continuity issues were relatively minute in importance when compared to a decision like the Dark Ritual. How can these two production teams be so drastically different from one another?
