-Male Elven mage origin
-I romanced Morrigan
-Talked to her at the gate, then she reverted to 'friendly'. Gave her the golden mirror at the epilogue to get her back to 'love'
-Did the dark ritual with morrigan and myself.
-Made Alistair and Anora marry.
-Received ring from morrigan and killed her mother.
-During Dialogue I told morrigan that love is not a weakness.
-Killed the demon in conner and saved both him and his mother.
-Loghain killed by my own hand.
-When I imported a character (human male warrior) with same choices directly from origins at the start of the dlc the dialgoue choice 'It's been a while since we were last here, you remember boy?" was available. When I imported a character (Elven mage) from awakenings that was also imported from origins that dialogue wasn't available.
-Dumped Leliana (even though technically I wasn't even in a relationship with her to begin with)
-Brought morrigan.Leliana, and Alistair with me to the final battle.
If I think of more I'll post 'em, hope that helped.

-Female human noble, warrior, imported from Awakening
-I was Morrigan's friend and we had a high relationship at the end of the game even though I pretty much never agreed with her puppy drowning tendencies
-Romanced unhardened Alistair, killed Loghain, and chose to rule beside Alistair as his queen.
-Had Alistair do the dark ritual
-At the final battle I left Morrigan to fight at the gates (brought Alistair, Wynne, and Leliana with me)
I want my real ending

Imported DoA Male Mage level 35
Romanced Morrigan and only Morrigan
Killed Flemeth and recieved Morrigan's ring and wore it throughout Origins and Awakening
Did the Dark Ritual myself
Killed Loghain
Had Alistair (hardened) and Anora marry
Did not talk to Morrigan after the DR so no ring epilogue
Had Morrigan, Alistair, and Sten in the final battle
Asked Alistair to grant the Circle of Magi their independence
Burned Amaranthine
Recieved the Awakening epilogue where I went after Morrigan
Seemingly Unimportant Ones: Made Bhelen king, cured the werewolves, cured the Arl, saved Conner without sacrificing Isolde, saved First Enchanter Irving and recruited the mages, Dagna went to the tower to study magic, Brother Burkel opened his chantry, released Jowan to the circle, did all of the personal quests for my companions.
Past that I can't think of anything else. Still got the bug where she said I denied the DR but still had a son innocently (not the OGB). >_<
I'm prayin' that helps in one way or another...

Is this going to import to DA2, since there is no auto or post-campaign save at the end?

Romanced Morrigan and only Morrigan throughout the entire game. I initiated the romance by asking for a reward for finding the black grimoire in the mages tower when she first brought it up
Received her ring
Killed flemeth, gave her flemeth's grimoire
Did the DR, afterwards at the gates of denerim just after the first battle when everyone gives their goodbye speeches and morrigan begins by saying "And so we go into teh city together, as it should be..." or something like that. I said "I'll find you morrigan i swear it". I took alistair wynne and morrigan with me to fight the archdemon.
Right BEFORE going to the roof of fort drakon to fight the archdemon i talked to morrigan. She began by saying "You have something to say do you?" I said "I want to talk about last night" she then said "... and we can end this entanglement of ours" to which I said "An entanglement? thats all this was to you?"
At the post-corination celebration I made Alistair rule alone. He asked me what i intended to do. I said that i intended to find morrigan. I also brought no one along with me. I'm under the impression that if you let zevran tag along you dont get the awakening dark haired sorceress epilogue.
I got the sorrow and regret ring epilogue, afterwards during the post game epilogue save (NOT the post-corination save!) i gave morrigan the golden mirror to get out of the friendship zone. I then imported THAT epilogue save into awakening
Kept the ring on the whole time during awakening (except when required to take it off during the silverite mines) and got the "Dark Haired sorceress" epilogue. I then used THIS awakening save for the GoA DLC
Initially imported my GoA save to witch hunt. Got the bugged "You denied me at redcliffe" speech. I then imported by awakening save in which i got the morrigan epilogue. I still got the bugged ending.
hope that helps

-Imported Origins character
-Male human noble, did the Dark Ritual and have the Morrigan ring. The chick in the party even started a discussion of she saying that I "play with the ring alot" so apparently the DLC knew I had it.
-When I met Morrigan she told me that I threw the deal right back in her face. I asked her "I was told you were with a child" and she responded with "Your son is safe... out of your reach, as I will be soon". She then proceeded to refuse to tell me her plans or anything of the like because I "didin't accept her deal".
Again, I didin't import an Awakenings save. The save I imported was a save after the Origins ending.

-hardened Alistair did the Dark Ritual

-Epilogue confirmed her pregnancy

-WH Morrigan said I denied the Dark Ritual.

Yeah I just did a play through for all 3 of my main characters, same result morrigan said I denied her.

Hey Mark, since you're a designer and all...

The intent is generally to keep whatever lore we can of your character from previous games going forward. You should notice from even this issue on this thread that's often easier said than done. And like now we make every effort to do so.
So... Does the stuff you do in witchhunt make a difference? Yes of course it does! Will the results of your actions show up in any later game? Well I'm sorry, but you'll just have to wait and see.

I've played through witch hunt twice and gotten the same "You betrayed me!" ending scene. I really don't feel like going back and changing dialogue choices in origins and doing another awakening playthrough considering i did those already just to get the "Dark haired sorceress" epilogue in awakening

This was a male dalish elf, originally finished origins march 24, imported into awakenings after witch hunt announced on sept 1 and into golems.
Checked save files: Morrigan 100%/love at redcliff, ready for dr convo. 100%/love at gates ready for "do you have something more to say". 100%/love at archdemon fight (was in party). 100%/love at post epilogue camp, ready for "that girl" convo, (Liliana was at 92%/love).
I had Morrigan's ring at all these points. I didnt have the mirror, so I had used it earlier.
No mention of Morrigan in epilogue from post coronation save. No mention of Morrigan in awakenings (since this was for witch hunt I was watching for it).
At the start of witch hunt Ariane asks about the relationship with Morrigan, I assumed that was normal. Odd range of choices, though, from love to kill.
Mark,
I can load saves at these points and the end of witch hunt and try specific convo choices if that helps. Also it would help if you could give us some idea of which ones are useful.

Thanks for the response.
I'm just curious how it could go forward (if it does) since there is no way to import that save after talking to Morrigan
Of course I wouldn't really want to import it till fixed anyway! But I appreciate the response none-the-less.

Human Noble, romanced all three options, settled with Leliana (that sentence came off differently in my head)
did not get the ring from Morrigan,
Had Alistair perform the dark ritual with her.
Had the "seen going into the Frostback mountains, possibly with child" epilogue.
Awakenings epilogue had me going off with leliana.
In Witch Hunt, I get the option to ask about 'my' son - Ok, so I did sleep with her, reasonable.
Says I betrayed her by refusing the ritual and my noble says "you ran off before the battle!". Whuh?
I only get the options to say goodbye to her. s'ok, not in a relationship or anything, but still weird.
Will try again with my Dalish elf, have a save from before the darkspawn siege of redcliffe, where I'm in a relationship with Morrigan, have her ring (gave her the mirror though), I can kiss her in camp but she refuses to go to bed with me. Alistair is king and in the party.
By the way, can any devs confirm if the 'unlucky' statue discovered in the stash in the Mages Tower (from the Entropy book) has any effect on the game beyond that particular subquest? It'd be surreal if that influenced the ending, but I'm ready to believe almost anything now....

I'm an X360 user, btw.
- Played as a female Cousland.
- Used the Feastday gifts to win Morrigan over, dialogue treed with her until she called me friend
- Lied to her about killing Flemeth
- Romanced Alastair, made him King, made the Warden queen
- Talked Alastair into going through with the DR
- Played through Awakening, used this save to play WH
- I didn't do any of that not talking to Morrigan in Denerim/Gold Mirror stuff.
Still got the glitch. Morrigan told me in WH that I denied her and she hated me.
I also have a male Cousland who romanced Morrigan I was gonna play through with, but I'll wait for word of a patch I think.

-Human Male Noble
-Didn't romance her
-Was friends with her
-Did the DR
-Imported character into Awakening and completed it
-Imported into Golems and completed
-Imported into WH and recieved no acknowledgement whatsoever of the DR happening...no mentino of a son nothing.
I'm on the 360 and have all DLC except for Darkspawn Chronicles.

I'm noticing a slight pattern.
It seems (from what I can tell) most Male Couslands (if not all) get the bug if they romance her. But Elf and Dwarf are fine if they didn't also romance Leliana (which screws up the epilogues on their own, having them both at Love).
Most, if not all, females seem to be affected, of almost all races if they had Alistair do it, I have only seen a few people say they had Loghain did it, but they reported no issues.

-Human Male Noble
-Romanced Leliana, but was still friends with Morrigan
-Did the Ritual
-Talked to her at Denerim, then left her at the Gates
-Did not follow her.
-Imported an Awakenings Save (Which was imported from Origins), no Golems data
Got the bug, said I denied her and made no mention of a son.

I support the search + destroy mission for this bug. I actually started a game to do the dark ritual to see what happens. Don't want that to get screwed up by a bug... expecially if that Warden can disappear magically and carry over that choice into DA2 onward...

Thanks hmm. You are the first male mage I have seen report it in, the other elves and dwarves were non-mages. I dunno though, I'm off to play Lair of the Shadow Broker, it's getting some great reviews and I want to finish it before spoilers crash around me.

-Fem PC
-Morrigan was friendly (called Elissa "sister")
-Elissa married Alistair
-Alistair did the DR
-Spoke to Morrigan abou the DR - thanked her
-Took Morrigan to the Archdemon
-> No DR bug for me on this run
btw - I know that revenge or romance get a great conclusion to the story, but a friend gets cryptic warnings about Flemeth and change and (I think) her Grimoire - not really closure, except that you know Morrigan is working for good against Flemeth and the OGB isn't a threat to Fereldan, and Morrigan won't be seen agian.

It was suggested somewhere that leaving her at the gates during the final battle was a fix to the problem, but it's not. In my save I went through the DR but didn't take her to the Archdemon and still recieved the bug.
Same. I left her behind too and got the bug as well. I took Alistair, Leliana and Wynne with me to the Archdemon.
