One more thing you should be aware of BIOWARE. When I imported my Origin character, same as above, from my actual EPILOGUE save in Origins... There was no bug. It worked fine, which means one of two things...

1. After the Epilogue is what creates the bug in origins. (I will test this one sometime)

2. Awakening creates the bug.

Same with me. My problems started with the post game save in Origins. After I went back to camp she said," What comes my friend", even though I romanced her and did the DR.

Maybe you were referencing me? If so, I will pat myself on the back and try it out asap.

Of course then I will be starting WH/Awakening naked because I'm wearing warden commander armor /sigh.

Aparently the Saving after the Post game epilogue auto save causes the bug.

Bioware could make menu pop as soon as you start WH, revising everything you've done and give you the chance to fix it shold it were recorded wrong, but that's just my idea.

Yes, if you don't want bug, do not do any Post-Epilogue in Origins. I believe that is what is causing the bug. Which also explains how Bioware missed it, they probably only were playing the "epilogue save" itself, not any post-epilogue.

I have two saved files. One right before I fight the Archdemon and one right before I fight the Mother. I will try and import both and playthrough without the final post game auto-save and how that works.

same as above, romanced morrigan, performed the ritual, ported that save through all the DLC's and she doesn't acknowledge it.



but i can live with that, not gonna go modify savegames now to reset the missing flag.



what I'm wondering in general is if theres another massive bug in the DLC or not.



cause it seems to end far to abrupt.



1st time i played through it took me about an hour and i ended the conversation with:

"I wanna meet my child"

so we make out and walk through the mirror together. for 1-2 seconds we are standing on the other side of the mirror (kinda looks like fade) and the credits roll.

2nd ending i tested:

let her go alone, make out she goes i walk over to that book and the "surprise" (that never gets reveled) I think the dog takes a leak and then the credits roll.



(btw.: second bug i noticed: Morrigan goes on about how her mother is the real threat (how can she be a threat when i killed her ?))



so my question, is this another bug ? Is the DLC thats supposed to answer the questions just a fraud. Not a single question was answered, I didn't even get to see a generic child NPC for my kid.

and in general it felt like the DLC was supposed to go on for another hour or so. and lets ignore the plot hole with the mirror for a bit (if one has played all the possible origin stories the introduction about the 2 dalish and the mirror make no sense)



talk about opposites, just finished the ME2 DLC and it was incredible totally worth its money, fun, exciting and it felt rewarding, this just felt forced, bugged and unfinished/rushed.

Accepted Dark Ritual

(I talked to her right before we entered the area to fight the dragon and got the ring.)

Chose to Follow Morrigan

Got The Ring Ending

Didn't Get Dark Haired Sorceress Ending in Awakening

WH still recognizes that I did romance Morrigan and performed the DR so I chose to walk through the mirror with her.

Wow ok, the origins save I had been using was no longer on my load page...

That's great. All I have now is my awakening save. So now I have to play through it all over again.
Alllllllll ovvvvvvvveeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr aaaaaaaaaaggggggggaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiinnnnnnn.

Please just do a patch that puts a potion or something in your inventory that when you drink it, the game sets your flags to dark ritual completed and romance, omg my life would be so much easier. I don't want to play 50 hours because my computer hates me.

I finished Lair of the Shadowbroker, then loaded up dragon age and two of my saves were gone, my Origins one, and one Leliana's Song one, but only those two. Might have been worth it, Lair of the Shadow Broker was so amazing, so amazing, like I would have payed $30 just for that three hour DLC, take note Dragon Age team.

The epilogue save, after you kill the archdemon is fine, that was what my save was. The mother however, you have to save before... It's the post-epilogue in origins that I think causes the bug.

what a disappointment this was. honestly, this was the best bioware can do? i'm telling friends not to bother. actually, i don't even have to tell them not to bother. word is spreading fast.

Right from the start of the conversation she was warm. Had some lines about not coming there to attack her and then she said she didn't know where to begin explaining. After that the conversation went smoothly with everything being acknowledged as it should've been.

Just a thought, but did anyone take Morrigan with them to fight the Archdemon, or brought Wynne instead? I was thinking that maybe the epilogue is affected of whether she is in the party at the end or not. I brought Wynne instead, I'm not sure if this makes a difference or not.

I took Morrigan with me to the final fight. No bug.

Oh, this is so frustrating. I imported my Warden from Golems. Did the DR, romanced Morrigan, got the sorrow and regret ending, but in Awakening did not get a dark sorceress epilogue card.

Morrigan acknowledged romance, but kept saying I did not give her what she wanted. When I said she betrayed me, she replied it was I who betrayed her because I refused the ritual...



I was so excited about this. Now I feel like I've been cheated. I got this DLC for Morrigan, not for another run through old locations killing darkspawn or mending the Veil tears in the Circle! I liked the banter, but I did not get this for Ariane or Finn. And all I got was 5 minute talk with Morrigan at the end? And the game is not even recognizing my proper ending.

LOTS of people (myself included) had Morrigan tell them at the end of the Witch Hunt DLC that they had refused the DR, while we didn't.

Personally, I:

1) Romanced Morrigan in DAO;
2) Accepted the DR;
3) Spoke to Morrigan in Denerim after the DR (but gave her the mirror in the post-epilogue)
4) Got both the "ring" ending in DAO and the "Warden goes after Morrigan" ending in Awakening;
5) Imported an Awakening save for the WH DLC.
6)... but according to Morrigan in WH I refused the ritual. So she had a son from me, but no OGB.

Given that accepting or refusing the ritual was arguably the biggest choice in the game (and that choices will apparently matter in DA2 too!), I'm disappointed about this and I really wish this could be solved - no haste, but before DA2, please... either an official patch by the devs or by some of the great modders of this community.

I did the same things with Morrigan like you and faced the same bug at the end of this DLC regarding the dark ritual. Well done Bioware.

Romanced Morrigan and Leiliana and broke it off with the bard before any hanky panky

Got the ring
Did the DR
Spoke with Morrigan at Denerim and took her to battle
Got the sorrow and regret ring epilogue

Imported that end game autosave into Awakenings
Got the searching for the dark haired sorceress at the end of Awakenings

Imported that to GOA then to WH

Then got kicked in the nuts - had a son with her but apparently I tell her to get lost at Redcliffe 

I enjoyed the DLC and didn't mind the ongoing mystery but the bug was deeply disappointing. I will be getting DA 2 and am irritated that one detail...albeit a big detail has spoiled my potential import to DA 2

DR is not acknowledged by Morrigan. Moreover, templars rule the Circle, no Irving, though I sided with mages in Broken Circle. I'm so sad ((((((((((((

Went through all the add-ons, imported into Witch Hunt from GoA

Had her ring



Awakenings recognized that Alistair was King - is that even possible (considering my Warden obviously didn't die) without the Dark Ritual? Witch Hunt made note that I carried Morrigan's Ring, and romantic responses were always offered whenever talking to or about Morrigan. So the romance is recognized, but the Ritual is not.

Unless I am mistaken, it seems that only The Awakening is the problem, I played my char from origins (which made the boss fight really hard since armor of legion isnt the best there is is and Ysurvis kida sucks), but my DR got recognized. What I have done:

Romanced Morrigan

Fullfilled her quests

killed flemeth

Put Anora and unhardened Alistar (ou cheesy) on throne

Got the "Felleing of sorrow Epilogue"



DR was recognized

Hope that this helps and some fix is created soon, I would like to use my Awakening characters but will not in case it would mess up the game

IN DA:O I rommnaced with morrigan did DA but didnot had ring epiloge

in DA;A i had black hair epiloge

but in witch hunt everything went to hell

hope they will fix bug

It does, I ran origins character and all went good
