This DLC just adds another layer onto this franchise's major continuity fail rating.
*Spoilers*
Origins started the ball rolling, with the numerous continuity bugs that could only be fixed with mods. Then came the additional content. The first to fail the continuity check, was of course, Awakenings. I made the ultimate sacrifice, so my choice was to import a dead character or start a new one. The first option is stupid, so the second has to do. Except you can't import the decisions your first warden made into a game where you create a new character. Awesome. Then we have Lilian's Song, whose backstory doesn't even match up to the one we learned about in Origins. Doing great guys! Golems, which had no real plot points from other DLCs/main game, escaped having to deal with continuity. Now to Morrigan's DLC. What's the *first bloody thing* that is heard when starting the DLC? "... 'Don't follow me.' I said, yet the Warden searched, even so. Some doors should never be reopened." Now, comming from the perspective of my Orleasian Warden, what the hell is she talking about? She didn't tell *this* warden to do anything. She hasn't even met him. Way to kill imersion in the second sentence uttered in the DLC. Good job, Bioware! I haven't even played it yet, but first impressions suggest a train wreck. We'll see how it goes from here.
*End Spoilers*
I supported this franchise all the way. Bought every DLC, despite the numerous flaws. Why? Because I thought they would improve things. Sadly, I have yet to see it. Bioware is making it REALLY HARD for me to care about this franchise. Besides all the steamlining they are doing for DA2, Bioware can't even keep their own plot lines straight to even appease the masses that are into the role playing aspect of the game. i.e. Character development in story. So DA2 is supposed to import all your decisions from the current DLC, but they can't even get that right between the DLC themselves. What's left to be excited for over DA2?
Thank you sir, for outlining almost all the complaints I have about the Dragon Age franchise. I would add that the DLC royally sucked on top of everything else. It's ending was a confused mess (even without the epic fail bug) and it didnt wrap up any of the plot threads it promised to.

If i had to guess it would be because loghain, but i only guess that because i kept getting a bugged ending in origins when i killed him and when i let him live everything was accurate:P
LOL, well this is a no purchase game for me, if i have to keep Loghain alive to keep it from bugging. Even in my most jerk evil of playthroughs, when it comes to Loghain, I never can make the decision to let him live. I won't start now.
Same with me.
He tried to kill the warden.... twice. And would have doomed all of ferelden despite his'good' intentions.

That would be it. She proceeded to tell me that I also denied her at redcliff... even though I let her go through with it with Alistair... because I'm a woman... She doesn't even know that women can't make babies together! *facepalm*Knight Terror wrote...
I just beat the DLC. I romanced Morrigan and chose the Dark Ritual. Morrigan acted like she didn't even know who I was practically, and made reference to me refusing to do the Dark Ritual. Is this the bug? If so, incredibly pissed off..

The Witch Hunt dlc was rather disappointing. The conclusion was.. bizarre. Is this a cliff-hanger to set up a DA2 storyline? As it stands it made very little sense. I thought for a moment I might get to see **spoiler** the special gift*end spoiler she left me with the elven book, but I got taken to the credits and then the main menu. That's how DA:O ends?
Nope this is not a set up because DA2 takes place with a new character, so there really is no time for a wrap up...... all i can say is they better make a new dlc for us or the will be losing a lot of fans

I think the dragon cult is more involved than we think... unless their appearance near the end of the DLC was just to fill enemy space
Seriously, though, what if they released something like Witch Hunt AFTER DA2? The dialogue with Morrigan was way too short and vague (to not spoil the sequel's secrets I suppose) and it probably wouldn't of hurt to release it after. If people play DA2 and figure out the story, then Witch Hunt could've filled in the blanks while reffering to the sequels chain of events. Kind of like a "flash-back" format or something. (IMO)
Now I'm left wondering where the hell this plot is going; I'm all for something out of left field like other dimensions, but really? Another dimension beyond the Fade? Now that's vague enough to fill any plot hole!

I know this is a long shot here but what if the portal leads to the black city? I mean it technically is in the fade but it's still not reachable from there.

The portal was confusing at first but I remember somewhere in Awakening, someone told the Warden that there was possibly a world beyond the Fade. I'm thinking that's where the souls of the dead go and where the Maker may be and that entering the portal meant death.
That was Justice

For all we know, it could be.
What I got from Morrigan (when you asked where the portal leads and then about the baby) was that it leads somewhere beyond the Fade; couple that with her saying that she need more power and TIME, I'm thinking that it is some sort of time warp as well as a teleporter or something...
Still, ANOTHER DIMENSION?!?! WTF?!?
By the way, someone needs to make a thread about this whole portal mirror thing-a-ma-jig. There are so many questions that need to be speculated on!
