It has been stated several times that DA2 will import from your online profile... I'm not sure if this is true, but if it is then the choices might carry on.
It would make sense, since I can imagine it being complex to handle savegame transfers between games on consoles, so the online profile would be a nice work-around for that...

If it is true however, the one thing that scares me of course is that the online profile hasn't been known to work flawlessly hehe...

What I would like conformation on is from someone who romanced Morrigan, but did NOT talk to her in final battle, then loaded from import of epilogue save, and see if that's bugged. It wouldn't make sense for the fact that she is in "love" with you to cause the bug... but you never know.

I romanced Morrigan, didn't talk to her in the final battle (henceforth I didn't have the ring epilogue), but I did load the post-epilogue save to sell stuff before moving on to Awakening... I imported this save into WitchHunt and had the bug at the end...

Not sure if my situation was exactly what you were asking for however

I'm going to wait and see... Saw a trailer in which they kinda boast with a sword / staff weapon and magic, if that's the only way you can go then I'm not too interested. I usually avoid magic in games as much as possible, prefer Shield+Sword warriors... Will first wait and see what information they release and what the reception of the game is.

hey, folks, could anyone say - is it possible to get away with Morri in the End??? I have finished this DLC for 3 times importing different saves, and still disappointing.. two times (load from Awakening and DAO Post-Epilogue) give me nothing - Morri says that i denied her ritual bla-bla-bla, and one time she remember that we had that night together, but! i still unable to get an ending in which hero kisses Morri and left with her. could anyone help? what do i need to say???

OK, if you would... load your origin character before you go and sell stuff. It's the Post-campaign Epilogue Save... because once you save after that save, it's bugged. Import that into whatever, awakening, golems, then witch hunt... play through, and it should NOT be bugged.

Hard to say. That Post epilogue save you use is bugged. So, load the save from the epilogue itself, and it should not be bugged. Ending sometimes is relyed on dialogue choices, but first get rid of the bug.

I didn't think it would. Supposedly DA2 takens place during, or close to, the Blight. The Gameinformer issue that features DA2 says, and I quote "While the Hero of Ferelden was rallying new allies against Teryn Loghain, a new legend was stirring in the doomed village of Lothering".

So, I take that to mean that this isn't really a sequel at all, but just an offshot of what I, at least, consider to be the main story. And that just pisses me off. I don'y care about some poorly named small fry from Lothering. I want the Grey Warden. You know, the HERO OF FERELDEN. That's where the main story should be. And it annoys me to NO end that BioWare is switching focus from OUR characters to some idiotic reject of their own devising. Fail.

DA2 is a story within a story. It's what was going on on the side while the MAIN hero, the Grey Warden, was battling the Blight. Another quote "Dragon Age II has a framer narrative, which means that the exploits of Hawke occured in the past, but are being retold in the present." Seriously, what the HELL? It's not even really a sequel then! If Morrigan is in it, I suppose it'll be a Morrigan who hasn't yet met the Grey Warden and who hasn't given birth to his child. Just plain BULL. It doesn't seem like DA2 will continue the story or answer any of the gaping holes that are currently in DA:O and frankly, I don't want it to, I don't want this Hawke loser taking the place of my Warden, but I AM furious with the direction BioWare has chosen to take with the series. If they do come out with DA3, and that game also isn't a continuation of the Grey Warden's story and the true purpose of Morrigan's child, I will be pissed beyond all belief.

Well i imported my main character with whom i have finished Origins Awakening and the Golems of Amgarrak and i had accepted Morrigans offer and was her lover before that and thats the ending i got.I kissed Morrigan and went through the mirror to meet my son although i dint see him :crying:

Hm. I don't think so. I had a romance going with Leliana, Zevran AND Morrigan. I finally chose Zevran, but still participated in the ritual at the end of the game. Morrigan still takes my Warden with her through the mirror at the end of Witch Hunt.

eh... choose both girls glitch? i don't know the effect that will have... basically Morrigan begins explaining that she has to leave... then you have the option of "take me with you", "will I ever see you again?" and "You won't be able to escape"... I think those were the three.. which lead to the three different endings....

actually, she becomes a friend and when i present her a mirror, similar to that Flemeth once broken she thanks and becomes beloved again...

will i ever see you again? her answer - not if you fortunate. good bye my friend. another variants should be rechecked...

i want the warden for dragon age 2 not hawke come on bw give the people what they want we dont want it to end here we want to continue with the warden we have i aint the only one that wants this i think every one else doesand i think it would be the right choice whats stoppin you from puttin the warden in DAO 2 if they did put the warden in DAO 2 think of the sales everyone would buy it i know i would

I also imported the same epilogue save into Awakening, saved after the first fight, and imported that save into Witch Hunt, which also gave me the unbugged Morrigan.



The encounter with unbugged Morrigan was vastly more satisfying. It changes the whole tenor of that last scene. Well worth the extra playthrough if you feel let down by a bugged conclusion.

Nice. Yeah, if it wasn't for this bug, Witch Hunt would be getting a lot more positive reviews.

Don't know if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but if the beginning voiceover says something about "Harder words I have never spoken" and one of your dialog choices with Dog is about how you'll get back the child, you probably do not have to worry about a bugged ending.
