Hey guys, i can't pass the quest with the book at the beginning, can anybody tell me what can i do?
go to the index A (first table) and look up for a Elven artifacts. Then go to the last index (T-Z) and find Translating Elven. Then go to the bookshelves to the Mystic Artifacts Section. Take a book about elven artifacts. Then go to the History section. Look for translation. Then back to the Mystic Artifacts. Take again that book. Then talk with Finn, than with Hadley (Templar) and go to the basement door. (location where Hadley and Sandal stands)

I'm thinking that we won't see anything regarding our warden and Morrigans plans until like DA3 if that even comes. So sit tight.
I also went through with no bugs.
Here's to hoping! I'm crossing my fingers for just that.
I did not have an issue with bugs, either. Not on the 360 version or the PS3. I don't know, maybe, like others have mentioned, it has to do with the choices you made at the very start of the DLC. And during your conversation with Ariane in the Elven ruins. I can't say really. There's always the chance that the bug is perfectly random in who it hits. Whatever the case, I hope you all that have been having problems with the bug get it resolved soon.
Have you guys tried to do the DLC over again from scratch, and chosen more Morrigan-friendly options?
I got the ending where the Warden and Morrigan kiss before heading off into the mirror. In the beginning of the DLC I asked Dog to help me find the child and when speaking to Ariane in Flemeth's hut I only chose to tell her that Morrigan had my child. In the ruins when Ariane asked me about the ring (which I kept in my inventory at all times during both the Awakening and Amgarrak playthroughs, so it passed onto my Witch Hunt playthrough as well) I simply told her that Morrigan had given me the ring, and when further pressed I had my Warden go on to tell her that Morrigan just gave him the ring because it allowed her to track him. I don't know if any of that determines whether or not Morrigan will let you come with her through the mirror.

Same here! That's the best DLC they ever released. And a lot of references to Origins and Awakening, you can mention places you've been to, also Morrigan's ring is mentioned several times (if you wear it).TarkenAthak wrote...
No bugs for me. And I got an "happy" ending wanting to stay with her, my Warden and Morrigan enter the mirror together after kissing.
Happy ending for my Warden and they basically told us truth about Flemeth. It's still unclear if she is an Old God or Fen'Harel, but I can live with that. At least something to learn from DA2.
Thank you David Gaider! I knew deep inside you're a very good person)))

It feels like a tease, especially since there is no way to continue the Warden's story now.

One question - is the DLC actually supposed to end before we see what the gift Morrigan gave us was, or before Finn and Ariane say something?

I know how you feel.
Sadly, that is indeed how the DLC is supposed to end. Right now I suppose all we can do is hope BioWare gives us a more satisfactory story in DA3. Or maybe change their minds and actually complete the previously promised 2 years of DLC and expansions. We'll see.

Have a genuine gripe? Fine, don't buy it. But don't get all up in arms over a stupid assumption you made out of thin air that has turned out to be wrong.

If I see one more "I am not buying DA2 because I can't play as my Warden!" post I'm going to scream. First of all, no one believes you, that's right not a soul. Secondly, some peoples Warden's y'know DIED at the end. That's why they can't bring the Warden back. And thirdly: if you ever for a minute thought the DA franchise was about the Warden you were wrong, and missed the damn point. The Dragon Age franchise is about the DRAGON AGE, and they games show us important events in it (The Fifth Blight, Hawke's rise to power and so on).

Okay, first of all, the Warden's sacrifice at the end of Origins didn't stop them from making Awakening, Amgarrak, and Witch Hunt. All of which take place after the events of Origins and all of which can be done with the same Grey Warden. They could easily make the Morrigan's ritual ending canon and in all truth, I don't see why they wouldn't. If you chose to have your Warden die then hurray! for you. But there was a lot left unresolved. A story is supposed to have an emotionally satisfying ending, and this one didn't. We still don't know what happened with the child or what Morrigan's plans were. It was just a cliffhanger. If they had given more to the story, made the ending less up in the air, then many wouldn't be so upset, I believe.
Anyway, point is, the Warden's optional sacrifice at the end is by no means proof that the Warden's story should be over and done with. If that was the case then I doubt we would've even been allowed to follow through with the same Warden throughout Awakening, Amgarrak and Witch Hunt.

I for one loved the DLC. It was an interesting adventure, however, they had lots of potential to contenue, we heard something about Flemmeth, why couldn't we hunt her as morrigan proposed?
It offered 2:49 hours of gameplay. And an amazing storyline, and a lot of fun banter conversations. The party members were both skilled, allthough Finn lacked constitution, a LOT of it, he was standing at a safe range most of the time though. And even better, it offered an Dwarven thaig that were not so red-ish and boring.
The Morrigan ending was not that dissapointing, it ended up with morrigan going alone, even with 95 approval from DA:O and the dalish elf got her book back. There was potential for more "witch hunting" though.

Mine worked okay. I just didn't get the ending. Where did the mirror lead? What does this kid look like? Apparently I payed 560 points for more suspense and 1 hour of game-play that resolved absolutely nothing.
Lol, I'm wondering that myself. ^.^
When Morrigan allowed me to follow her through the mirror to the child I was so stoked, I thought I'd be able to see my Warden's son, or at the very least I'd get to see where the mirror led to. But then it just...ended so abruptly, right after they stepped through. At the time I didn't realize that BioWare had said that this was to be the end of the Origins story and I was sure that an awesome expansion involving Flemeth as the antagonist and Morrigan as a playable character was on the way. *sigh* I am a sad panda.

My Human Noble Warrior, went with Morrigan into the mirror, wanting to see his son and spend time with his love.

But it wouldn't be a surprise if they told you what happened with the child or morrigan. Now would it??Lethvienne wrote...

Probably for DA3... Morrigan Vs Flemeth and their champions : Grey Warden Son Vs Hawke.

-The Cultists in The Dragonbone Wastes. It makes sense to a certain extent, but i thought that they would actually have an impact on the story.
-The ending. I got the mirror one, so i can't really comment on the others. To me this kind of ended abruptly, i mean one minute Morrigan is trying to get you to back off, then you kiss, go through the mirror and then it ends. Why did Dog not follow, in my playthrough my Warden and Dog were really close and then in WH he just leaves him. More importanly why did the other two not say anything?
Overall i really enjoyed the dlc and thought it was worth the price. Though to me i could see another game in the Dragon Age universe with the Warden.
