The game won't even allow my to import a character. I get to the Import character screen and all my characters are listed, but their race, background, class and playtime does not show up and the select option is grayed out.

My questions weren't answered, instead I was left with more questions. It's almost like a cliff hanger ending, you haven't a clue where Morrigan has gone now, and her answers didn't reveal very much. What you do know is that change is coming, *cough* Dragon Age 2 *cough* Regardless, I still liked the dlc, so great job once again Bioware, I can't wait for DA2, I'm hoping more of what Morrigan said will make sense after playing the sequel.

that is good to hear... hopefully our warden's story isn't over...

Well, no.  Bioware still made it very clear that Witch Hunt was the final DLC for DA:O.  The story of the Hero of Ferelden is still over.

The final DLC for DA:O doesn't mean the Warden's story is over. Too much was left undone and too much was also implied for the future. I'm with those who hope the Warden will return. Just because Witch Hunt ends DA:O does not, by any means, say that the Warden is completely over and done with. He could be there for the 3rd game, and I still don't see why he shouldn't, or couldn'tm be. I think a LOT of us would be very disappointed if our Wardens ended on that note.

Yes but... now we should wait for years to know how end the history of Morrigan! -____-

I enjoyed the story very much just that it seemed to short....It probably took me an hour to go through and no question answered only to be left with more questions. Bioware I've been a great fan but this dlc did not sit well with me. I don't know if I your reasons for the ending is to hint that another dlc will come out or perhaps we may see them again in Dragon age 2 if you imported your warden. Well anyways those were my only 2 beefs: to short and no questions were answered but overall a fun little dlc :)

Neither this.
In DA2 there won't be Morrigan. Only Flemeth.
We should wait for years for DA3.

But it wouldn't be a surprise if they told you what happened with the child or morrigan. Now would it?? All I did was tell her I wanted to come with her to met my son and her and I both went through the mirror together. I can wait for surprises myself.

Oh, I'm more than happy to 'wait for surprises'. ^.^ I never said that I wasn't. I'm just bummed out because BioWare has said that this is the last release for DLC, and it was a huge cliffhanger, and DA2 doesn't continue the story and is therefore unlikely to answer any of the questions that Witch Hunt left us with.

I do hope that they don't just throw in the fate of Morrigan and the child in some sort of epilogue, or prologue. I would love to have it be another game. If we can't have the Grey Warden back for DA3 (which I'm still praying for) then I hope we can at least have his child be the next protagonist in the series after *cringes at this name* Hawke, with references as to what the Warden's fate was. There was just so much left unsaid. Zevran and Leliana. At the end of Origins it said that Zevran stayed with my Warden, but he wasn't in any of the DLC or Awakening. So that's up in the air, too. There was just so much more then could have done with this.

I am also hoping that the entire Dragon Age series doesn't take place only in Ferelden. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm very eager to see some of the other countries that were only spoken of in Origins. Like Antiva and the Qunari lands. I would absolutely LOVE to see those two places. And the other Dwarven city as well, or other Dalish clans that wander countries and lands other than Ferelden. It would be fascinating. If I can't explore these places with the Warden I hope I can at least see them with his son,

I do hope they change this "can only play a human" thing that they've implemented with DA2 for DA3, if there is a DA3. It's a fantasy world! I play a human in real life 24/7, I don't want to play one in a video game, too. :D

I can agree with a lot of what you said. I am looking more forward to DA 3 than 2 since they basically made a cartoony mass effect in a different setting. I wish everything didn't have to be mainstreamed for the people who don't like old school design or games that offer a challenge. DA 2 will probably top Gears 2 as worst sequel I have ever played but that doesn't mean it won't be a good game just not legendary like DA:O. This might be one of the few game series that only gets worse as it goes along like Gears or Splinter Cell. Losing all the core mechanics it was once built on.

It's not really whether or not DA2 is a good game that makes me say I won't buy it. Up until the release of Witch Hunt I had intended on giving the game a chance. But that was when I thought there would be more content being released for DA:O that would at least give the Warden's story a satisfactory ending or, even better, continued the Warden's story by ending on a less drastic cliffhanger, thus implying that the Warden would return after DA2. BioWare had said all along, up until now, that they'd intended to have new releases for DA:O over a course of 2 years. That isn't an assumption, that's what they flat out said. And now they've taken that back. It's a slap in the face and it says to me that they no longer care and are far more interested in moving on to their next money making project.

That they ended DA:O with such a big cliffhanger that left more questions than answers... yes I'm a bit disheartened. If they intend for that to be the absolute ending of the Warden's story then, yeah, it's a horrible way to end things. But I'm hoping that's not the case. I'm still hoping that the Warden will come back. ^.^

And I also hope that the Dragon Age series doesn't turn into an echo of Gears! Oh, the horror of it! *shivers*

I dont think there is going to be DA 3... I saw somewhere that said that the DA story arc wont be long enough to span a number of games.

Look if the wardens story is done, Just f**king kill him/her off already, so the rest of us can stop hoping and leave DA in the dust.

The warden is my character, My story, it seems pointless to me to play as Bioware's Hawke.

Hearing about the unrecognised Dark Ritual bug rather killed my interest in getting this DLC, for now. I hope there's a fix for it out soon or this final DLC is just, to quote the Orzammar criers, "Epic Fail!" and - I'd assume - not the note Bioware wanted the Origins story to end on.

Started playing last night, and am enjoing it - great to be back in the DA universe.

I like all of the story revolving around Morgs, she is such a great character.

That said, I haven't actually seen her yet, hope I don't get any silly bugs.

Heh...

Hawke: I should go.
Warden: Yes you f**king should.
Morrigan: Indeed.
Hawke: I will just be going then...*Turns to leave*

That's what made me lose interest as well since most of my characters went that way. I was stuck choosing between this dlc and lair of the shadowbroker for ME2 since I didn't have enough money for both, and after hearing about the bugged ending, it just made me lose interest until it's fixed. Kinda glad I went with the ME2 dlc this time, probably the best one made so far for ME2.
