(This is a spoiler BEWARE THERE IS NO TURNING BACK!)

I would honestly believe that mori has this child of ours, yes ours since we have ALL mated with mori some point or another, to prepair to defeat flemith and embrace his destiny, as she says when you mention the son that he has a huge destiny and what flemith says in the DA2 trailer matches that perfectly, not only considering that mori confirms herself that you have a SON and it is prob the man in the trailer hence all the special abilities he pulls on that goat guy. Not to mention also that Mori said "Change" was coming; "Change is coming and most people fear change." quoted form mori but then quoted from flemith: "Men who embrace their destiny "CHANGE" and raise empires and destroy kings."
....your son has to be that champion in the coming DA2, dialog and events have all but confirmed it for me... my question is... weather or not son will meet the father, and if he does...what will happen?

Yeah, apparently you forgot that the Warden can be a woman :bandit: or that a lot of players didn't choose to do the ritual.

The main character in DA2 is not the Old God Baby, DA2 starts while Origins is going on, it starts at the attack in Lothering after the Warden leaves and continues to span over a 10 year period, DAO and DA2 overlap in the beginning, so it is impossible for Hawke to be OGB, it has also been confirmed by Bioware that he isn't which doesn't hurt

Just curious, but does anyone know her opinions on Orzammar's Politics, The Anvil, and the Werewolf and Elf Conflict?

I presume she wants the Anvil, and she likes it if you convince the Werewolves to kill the Elves.

Morrigan is a pragmatist, she follows the road of power, anything that can improve your power and your chances to beat Archie she is for it, I guess you could classify her as Chaotic Neutral, or depending on how you interact with her Chaotic Good.

Sorry but Morrigan is not chaotic neutral... CN are loonies. They change affiliations just like that for no reason and they have no constant goals. Maybe you meant true neutral?
Morrigan has striken me at first as pure lawful evil (the selfish goal to power above everything, including morality) but as the goal became more clear and based what she said afterwards I'd definitely characterize her as chaotic good.

My god... what a crappy dlc. This is not the proper way to tie up the "lose ends" with Morrigan just so you can start fresh with DA2. I am very disappointed!

It felt more like a prologue for Dragon Age 2, which was much MUCH better. I hate endings that wrap things up nicely. Open ended is better.

So, I'm going to buy a 1600 point card pretty soon, and can only choose 2/3 of the new Bioware content (Witch Hunt, Golems, Liara). So far, I'm leaning towards picking up Liara and Golems, then buying Witch Hunt a bit later, since it seems it's the final Dragon Age content and I want my character to play it last.

Would you guys say Witch Hunt provides closure? Is it a good send off for a character that I've really grown to love playing?

You are going to get a lot of subjective answers here.  From the disappointed to the satisfied.  I would say I was ok with it...although the final confrontation felt abrupt and created a few more questions than it answered.  But that's just me.  I still enjoyed it.

I would say wait for WH until they patch it...looks like that is this week.  Shadow Broker for ME2 was awesome, though.  The best Bioware DLC so far.

Anyone know if the patch will be released standalone or are they repackaging the WH DLC install file? I have Steam so I am not sure how it will be released.

I think it will be released as patch 1.04a (IIRC) and propably you should get it and install it only if you have downloaded witch hunt.

Since a lot of people have played the epilogue (to do side quests or DLCs etc) I think that patch was 100% necessairy.

Since a patch will be released, I can only hope that they do some other fixes to the game like patching The Reaper's Cudgel issue and some other things too, it would be nice.

just not worth the time effort or excitement it genenrated. the worst dlc thus far. and the set up for da2 with the creatures and morrigan's comments at the end? not appreciated.

*sighs* This was so disappointing. The book quest felt rushed and mostly irrelevant, there was very little in the way of meaningful character interaction with your 2 new party members, and the only real draw of the DLC is short, slapdash, and full of bugs.

I'm sorry, but I'm thinking freaky Dark Ritual sex should be a little more memorable than this bugged ending implies! Hell, it's the first time Morrigan and I had an actual BED to do it in...

That said, a very simple workaround/fix for this would be a quick dialogue with either of your new party members (Ariane has the perfect setup already) wherein you tell them what happened between you and Morrigan, once upon a time. Toss in a few controls which update/refresh your history/event flags or whatever, and you're golden.

Frankly from a literary standpoint a little more development between your Warden and your new party wouldn't go amiss, and refreshing/refining your character's history with Morrigan and his/her feelings for her would add a lot more impact to the final moment with her.

Which, as I said, felt pat and unfulfilling even without the bug. Which I got. *eyeroll*

Will the new patch fix the story and make the content more enjoyable? Also I hope it gives Morrigan less cloths.

has anyone else noticed that the voice over at the beginning is different if you romanced her?

Yes definately worth getting in so far as it is one of the "warden" dlc's - along with Golems and  the  in game dlc - ostagar, wardens keep, and stone prisoner - I would skip leliana's song and darkspawn chronicles if you are on a budget and want the warden's story.

that said liara  (and really all ME 2 dlc) is FAR superior to dragon age dlc...

as far as witch hunt goes - I think it gives a VERY satisfactory conclusion if you romance her and want a happy ending or you hate her and want revenge - if you are friends with her or indifferent and simply want answers it is disappointing

I think the portal will take them somewhere where it is meant for the baby to be raised. Some mystical old magical place to be with the baby untill he grows up.
I don't know wether the portal also offers time - altering paramteres too. Like it annules time and one minute there is like 10 years on the outside world...

just one problem, in my game there was no god baby (i did do the ritual but the game doesn't recognize it), so since that is a possibility in DAO but she still seeks the portal, it can't be that.

according to my game the ritual didn't happen - and a grey warden actually died in my game when receiving the archdemon's soul (thus killing the soul)

Really?
wow....
fair enough I guess...
Haven't thought about the warden getting killed as definite proof of the DR not getting done but of course it's logical.

Also people (WARNING MEGA SPOLIER)

Did any of you notice that usually on DAO when you have the option to kill some it would say somthing along the lines of "(Kill him) you shall die for what you have done.

On the final option of Witch Hunt not that i choose the option it says "(Attack her) Never!"

Notice attack not kill. Even the haters will never kill her! This shows for surre Bioware was careful with its lining for she will be in the sequal.

God Save Morrigan!

oops.. confusion... one save with the ritual (but the dlc doesn't recognize it) and one save with no ritual and loghain dieing from taking the soul.

it does not matter - there is no after-save, therefore it is impossible to import the decision to attack her and they'll just choose a canon decision that suits them. so they might as well have put in the decision to just kill her as they can just ignore it.
