Within the DAO storyline, I really don't get the philosophy of "Morrigan betrayed me, I'm going to kill her." She saved the Warden's life, and even if she leaves the group I don't see how it's a "betrayal" that merits death. If you ask her about the ritual she's upfront and tells you what she's doing and that you'll "never" see her or the child again. Maybe there's another storyline if you get her approval rating very low?

Tactical corporate fubar that's resulted in reduced antisipation of DA 2. Solution: release a high-quality DLC to end DA:O on a high note.Stakis wrote...
One plays Lair of the Shadow Broker and one plays this one and its like 2 different companies, very dissapointing, i see now its also buggy i was actualy kinda looking like a idiot at the monitor when morrigan starts with the deny this deny that when my ending in origins was me doing the ritual despite staying with leliana.

Me, too. Morrigan was upfront about not seeing her/your child when she proposed the ritual. I couldn't make myself choose the "Why did you betray me?" dialogue option -- even though my curiousity was killing me -- just because it did not compute with how I felt the story played out.
I'm not too bothered by how WH ended without explaining what Morrigan left you (besides the Dalish book). I hope/assume it will be explained in DA2. If not, then yes, that was a very abrupt way to end it.
I hope the patch will work for current WH save games and that I won't have to re-start a new WH with that particular warden. I have other warden versions I want to send through WH once it's patched.

The books that are left behind are the Dalish book and Flemeth Grimoire. Hopefully this will be answered in DOA2. I am thining that if you preformed the ritual with Morrigan then your son/daugter will be Hawke and this will be explain as such in DOA2.Ledecius wrote...
Yes, and she says that the book the Dalish want is one of the items. But there are TWO items in that brief view of what was left, both of which have the "treasure sparkle" highlight.
This is driving me batty with curiosity, lol...

Your claim that Hawke being the Warden's child wouldn't explain why he has a sister. Bethany was it? I doubt, despite the Amell rumor, that he is the mage warden's child either. I prefer to just sit back and wait until we get a concrete lot of proof. Perhaps previews on television will provide us, maybe..
Huh...?
Yes; that just happened!

The God-baby definitely isn't Hawke as DA2 is set at the same time as DA:O (at the start anyway - the game covers events over a ten year period as I understand it) starting with Hawke escaping the blight attack on Lothering. which is before you sleep with Morrigan.
I've got a hunch Hawke is that kid you meet that lost his family although I'm not sure that explains his sister either.

It did seem odd that there was no explanation or resolution of the Dalish book or the two companions you brought. What a disappointing and abrupt DLC.
It appears Gamespot.com agrees as they rated this a 5.0 out of 10.
That article was quite harsh. One of the hardest articles on a BioWare product.

True...but it goes to prove the point that game reviewers aren't all in league with development companies, as I often see presented on this site (ME2 reviews, being one example)
