Can you just start another one? Or does the same problem occur when you try?

Got the update to install. I saved it to desktop and renamed it to .dazip BEFORE downloading, since I couldn't change the name afterwards.

I tried loading a few save games. Two errors: some give the unable to load module error as above. On another character I got an error saying an owner of Witch Hunt must log in. I got this on my current DAO game as well (using Witch Hunt items). Seems there is an authentication problem? Maybe it's seeing WH and WH 1.1 as two different modules? Having to replay WH from the beginning only loses me an hour or two on each character, but having to restart a current DAO game means losing 10-20 hours.

Clarification edit:  it seems I can start new WH1.1 games but cannot continue or load WH1.0 saves or DAO games.

I appreciate the patch but I'm disappointed that these bugs were not caught, since the patch release was delayed in order to fix bugs.

Nope I get unable to load area come up if I try and start a new game or import another character, most my characters are in the buff in the import screen now as well.

"Unable to load area"

New character, import a character (oh look, they're naked now), load a saved game...same message.

It just feels like Dragon Age has collapsed under a mountain of accumulated bugs and BioWare is hopelessly in over their heads trying to fix it.

Hmmmm . . . . I think I'll hold off downloading this WH update 1.1 until I hear some official response to these issues.

Unable to load module as well and with v1.1, it appears my Sentinel armour set isn't showing up on the import screen either.

Spent some time and seems like I can load areas after logging OUT and then back IN to bioware online servers. Maybe the WH owner status needs to be refreshed that way.

I did nothing different but when I fired the game up again to retry, everything worked.

Puzzling, but ultimately alright.

Sorry folks there may be a server side delay that we think is causing this - which could cause the WH 1.1 to not decrypt correctly and put the game in a state that it doesn't know how to handle, creating any manner of these things with the game.

Please bear with us for the next few minutes - do not do anything destructive on your systems (delete saves, re-install, etc) - we believe this should be something we can fix on the server.

Please log out and re-log back in to force a new server connection.

I downloaded the zip file but when I go to 'select DAzips' It doesn't 'fall under the category' apparently, for example I have fan-made content thta is able to be selected and they have the dragon age symbol next to them but the patch only has a folder icon next to it.
When I go to General properties for the folder It listsd it as a File folder (.dazip), any suggestions?

I was able to load and finish and ending (not going through portal).

I appreciate bioware fixing this but I'm a suprised and a little annoyed. YES, the game autosaves now. So there is a record of your end choices.

However... the item of great interest is still an unknown. I thought you'd be able to load your autosave and check your inventory and codex. This is NOT the case. When you load the autosave it will go right to credits with no chance to find out what the item was. Is this intended?

Standardpack: Before the patch saves, change the file extension from .zip to .dazip

Otherwise the updater can't recognize it.

My daupdater.exe application can't find the file where I downloaded it to. Having trouble renaming it to a dazip file instead of a zip file which it appears as.

How?
When I right click and "Save target as'  It lists 'File Name' to save under and 'save as type' what do I do from there?

Just edit the File Name so you add .dazip and make it .dazip instead of .zip

You don't need to do anything with the "save as type"

Well I can load the game now by logging in and out but the Sentinal armour is now glowing bright white, both in game and in the import screen.

The thing that bugs me is that you still can't load a game afterwards to find out what Morrigan leaves you at the end. I was told it's Flemeth's Grimoire, but even so, what does that tell you about Flemeth?

Seriously, to my understanding Morrigan was the only one who understood the language.  What good is that supposed to do you?

Folks, ensure you have the following unchecked!

Open a window and go to TOOLS > FOLDER OPTION > VIEW > "Uncheck Box Next to" - HIDE EXTENSIONS FOR KNOWN FILE TYPES.

If you do not do this, you "MAY" have trouble renaming the file to *.DAZIP. If your updater cannot find your downloaded file, proceed to check this out. You may not be changing it properly and therefore causing a problem.

Hope this Helps!
