Pros: Great storyline and acting, great boss fights and environments, Liara's character fleshed out a bit more
Cons: Short and way too expensive. Teammates don't interact at all.

Agreed. However, I would like to add a comment to the cons section - Shepard's choices (or lack therof) do not impact the story in any way. I understand that LotSB is set up to have a fixed ending, but this limits both replayability and roleplaying.

That is true. I felt halfway through the DLC that I was just going through the motions. I kinda assumed that there was no difference in my dialogue choice except for paragon/renegade points. Still, overall an interesting storyline. I wasn't a big fan of the storyline direction ME2 took but I'm glad they're now adding content to supplement it.-Skorpious- wrote...

really well written, cool environments, awesome boss fights, the car chase was something new and it was fun. i wouldn't mind seeing races in me3 like in kotor. it'd be a fun way of gambling.. more fun than the lame and cruel varren pit betting.
my one and only complaint is, at least as a male shepard, it seemed like all you could do is like try to romance her. and i didnt romance her in me1. i would be a friend, if i could. but if you invite her up to the normandy.. they go to your room and drink wine and if i tried telling her i was with tali, she left and my shep was like.. come back soon =[ all wantingly. so i redid it and told her we should keep it professional. i kind of understand.. a big part of this dlc was romancing liara, i just played for more me2 and more story.
i might be in the minority but i didn't really like liara as a character in the first game. and i still don't like her breathy voice. in terms of development, between redemption and this dlc she's undergone quite a transformation.. maybe a little unbelievable considering she didn't really change from redemption 1 to LotSB. but still.. great dlc

SPOILER WARNING
HIGHS:
- The return of Liara (finally!) and the completion of her unsatisfying cameo in ME2.
- Environments. Like Kasumi's DLC, I appreciated mission locales that are different from most of what you see in the game (i.e., Liara's apartment, Hock's house).
- The car chase was a nice addition. Not because the experience was that amazing but because it was, again, something unique.
- The planet the SB's ship was on looked cool.
- The dialogue between Shep and Liara was amusing, especially when poking fun of game mechanics (e.g., "Their attacks are disorganized...")
- The acknowledgement of the fact that I've already beaten the game was a nice change of pace.
- A new bonus power was nice, even if it's not one I think I'll personally be using over the ones I already use (which typically consist of Geth Shield Boost or Barrier). I especially like that it works through defenses.
- They handled not having Liara as a permanent squadmate well. Especially considering they made her a temporary squadmate. (Nice move there, also.)
- The post-game SB base was cool, though of limited utility if you've already beaten the game.
- Taking a cab? People going home? What keen ideas!

- Not having to hack/bypass everything is great.
- No rooms full of totally ridiculous-looking waist-high cover! Yay for more naturalistic cover.
- Lightning hitting people you Lift/Singularity into the air on the SB's ship's hull is a nice little touch.
- Price. $10 for a DLC is quite steep, IMO. Yeah, they needed to hire Ali Hillis back and it was longer than the other DLCs, but 1/5 the price of the game was still, IMO, a bit much. Also, I'm not sure why this story wasn't in the game in the first place, given that it concerns one of the main characters from ME1 and half the arc was established already. It'd be no less of a plot tangent than most of the other stuff you spend the game doing.

- The SPECTRE is evil?
Really? Didn't we do this already with Saren? And here I was excited that SPECTREs were making an appearance again and not disappearing from ME just because Shepard isn't one anymore. (Though at least she justifies her actions in the end.) And why, BTW, if she was bleeding out was she suddenly able to put up such a fight? - Spending more time outside the SB's ship than in it seemed rather... odd.
- The SB himself being some demonic (*cough* Dragon Age Ogre *cough*), massive badass was a dumb choice, IMO. He's an information broker, not a hitman. He should've been a Volus with some big ol' Krogan or Asari bodyguard (or two). Desk-jockeies ≠ badasses. Extra points lost for his pinstripe suit and reminding me of Mexican wrestlers.

- How did Tela Vasir not manage to lose me, given all of the SB lackeys I was busy fighting?
- No real Paragon/Renegade choices? How about the choice to kill Tela Vasir or not? That would've worked.
- Your henchmen not saying anything, again, was disappointing but not altogether all that surprising after Kasmui's loyalty mission (they're not even there) and "Overlord" (they're suddenly mute).

I believe LOTSB (in some form) was originally intended to be part of the vanilla game. Why else would pieces of dialogue from it be left on the ME2 disc?
All that aside, it's a 9 from me.

Superb, overall, but of course it has some cons:
º I expected Garrus/Tali to speak a few words to Liara, and vice-versa, but nothing, not one single word between them, not even a nod from Liara's head in acknowledgment of their presence (and vice-versa). I felt that it was cheap.
º I thought that the Shadow Broker's base was to be more guarded, more prepared for intrusions or invasions. The problem wasn't the number of men at his disposal, but just the general security and design of the base which seemed to be very lacking considering how important the place is and how much information it holds.
º I would have liked to know what happens to the security of the station after the guards were killed and the Shadow Broker dealt with, who's playing Liara's guards now? Feron alone? Additionally, when speaking to Feron about the SB's personal probe/A.I., he (Feron) says that it (the probe) follows "everyone" around, does that imply just Feron and Liara? Or is there actually more people on board now? Will Liara always remain alone in there with Feron and nothing/no one else to defend themselves with and ensure security? Hopefully BioWare will explain more about that in ME3.
º A bit too short (hey, I'm a Liara fan, give me a chance, hadn't seen her like that since ME1).
That's about it, but despite these nitpicks I still give it a 9/10 score because... well, Liara is there, she got a tour of the SR2, she mentioned speaking to Joker and seeing Chawkwas, it brought back good memories, and then the whole scene in the cabin, very emotional, very "warm", personal and "human", and FINALLY I got to see my Shepard showing SOME signs of emotions by choosing the "I'm worried" dialog option, she suddenly felt HUMAN again (after the scene in ME1 when Liara, in my game anyway, came at her to give a much needed moral boost and being interrupted by Joker), and THAT, in my opinion was needed at some point, and that they chose to do it in this DLC, and WITH Liara, man, I couldn't have asked for more.
Oh and, the "Hug her" option? You guys are amazing (no sarcasm). Now, BioWare, just make more DLCs like that, pump up the emotions meter a bit more, show other feelings than anger or just compassion for Shepard (mostly, but not only Shepard) and I'll be all over such DLCs in an instant. And now with Lair of the Shadow Broker and Liara "back again" (not "completely" like a real squad mate on board the Normandy permanently, but still, she's really there now, and to help, at least for now) I would say that ME2 as a whole is a much better and more "complete" game in my book, it went from a 7.5/10 (overall) to a 9/10, right there with my own ME1's score, keep on rocking guys.

Hmph. Something they never finished or something they cut from the game deliberately so they could sell it to us later?--Master of All-- wrote...

Likewise. I was excited to have my ME1 crew back together (I always used Garrus and Liara), and... nothing. If they couldn't hire back the voice actors for Garrus and Tali, at least Liara could have acknowledged knowing Garrus and/or Tali.Lyrandori wrote...

Seems consistent with Liara's belief that the SB never really expected someone to find him, much less attack him.Lyrandori wrote...

It's action packed, fun and has some epic battles in it (for example it has better boss fights than vanilla IMO). I also liked the ending.
I take 1.5 off because of the length. It is relatively short, but perhaps I am only saying this because I've played some of Bethesda's DLC packs, for example Knights of the Nine (Oblivion) and Broken Steel (Fallout 3) which are really long.

Cons:
-Evil Spectre "plot twist" was way to obvious. I actually was mildly annoyed by the fact that Shephard had to act at least somewhat surprised when Liara "revealed" the whole dirty Spectre thing.
-Mute squad (consistent problem with *all* DLC. I know *why* they are mute but it still negatively impacts the DLC).
-Fade to black love scene. Quite a downer for the long awaited reunion with Liara. ME1 did it much better. ME2 somehow chickened out on this. Pity LotSB stays true to ME2 in this part.
-I thought LotSB was a bit short. And that's not only because I really enjoyed it. It really was pretty short for 10$.

This was not expensive at all. Look at the credits at the end of the game and see how many people worked on this. The finished project is great which proves that they worked hard on it too. It's also the largest voice cast out of the DLCs. 10 bucks is perfectly reasonable.
Really enjoyed this DLC.

Screw it, you get the short version. Pros: Character development (huge for me), boss battles, scenery, feel
Cons: Length, basic combat too typical, car chase
