7/10

-1 for Shepard berating Vasila. I would have liked to acknowledge her skill and determination and express my displeasure over having ended up on different sides of this conflict, instead Shepard insults her and acts all holier than thou.

-1 for using interrupts to conversate (don't like where this is going)

-1 because it is short

Other than that it was good.

Yeah, trying to rate this numerically is folly. I am not going to count that high.

Suffice to say, they have done an incredible job, and LotSB is now my favorite mission in the whole game.

I agree. It was just a blast to play through and made my liara loving side jump up for joy.

9.9/10: nothing is perfect, but this is damn close. For reference, if you asked me to rate vanilla ME2, I would give it a 7.8/10 as a stand-alone game, or a 4.0/10 as a sequel.

I'm not sure if LotSB is really good, or that the other DLC were just really crappy.

Probably a bit of both

9/10 I've been very harsh on DLC so far but I think it was great! It really felt like they put a lot of effort into it. The battles and storyline were both very good. I'm not a big Liara fan but this added a lot to her character.

On a side note: I feel bad for Ashley/Kaidan fans when Shepard remarks on how her closest friends won't believe her and Liara comments on Ashley's/Kaidan's "short-sightedness". It struck me as a "salt-in-the-wound" moment. :(

Yes.  :(
As if getting yelled at on Horizon wasn't enough reason for Kaidan/Ashley haters to hate them even more.
The only reference we get from Liara is that she's sorry about Horizon and that they're, "short-sighted."  I feel their reactions were perfectly understandable (my Shepard's, on the other hand, were rather unemotional).
Yet at the same time, I'm happy that she at least acknowledged them...which I wasn't expecting at all in this DLC.

9.5/10

Pro
- Finally a DLC that actually reference your ME1 actions and dialogues unique relating to the "other squadmate" you bring makes the mission intergrated into the game verywell.
- DLC length and content was worth every penny spent
- If you play as a Vanguard, the Hotel boss fight is *very* satisfying.

Con
- Lack of voice acting from the other squadmates. But Miranda had 1 line, it was probably a recycled line, but it was a nice touch and good to hear because most DLCs contains muted squadmates(which is the main concern for every DLC I purchase).
- The car chase could use a vertical axis, it felt abit too scripted and linear to me.

Have to give it a 8.5/10. Good storyline (which is becoming a Bioware tradition). Lacked inter-squad dialogue, but it isn't as noticeable as it was in Overlord. Also like how combat with the Shadow Broker Agents seemed more fast and hectic than before. Plus they were coming at you from all sides, which gave me a fresh new challenge in how to handle them. Love that.

Yeah this DLC is definitely worth buying. ESPECIALLY if you get to continue romancing Liara. Very touching scene at the end.

There is no way in which this did not surpass my expectations. I cannot not think of a single thing that could have been added to it (in my opinion) to make it better.

Edit: Except perhaps more dialogue with Garrus. But that's just the fangirl in me.

No offense meant at all to Bioware, but I did not expect it to be nearly this good. Five stars, A+, 100%, 10/10, all that sort of thing.

I agree better then I had in mind. I don't romance Liara, and really feel indifferent about her altogether. This dlc is by far the best yet. I really enjoyed the fights. And the Shadow broker himself... “was a beast“

I would give it a solid 7. I really enjoyed it, and it was certainly well worth the money, but I would have preferred it to be less of the Shepard, Liara, and Silent Samara show. I mean, come ON, are you really going to tell me that an asari Spectre isn't going to acknowledge a Justicar? And that Samara wouldn't have a thing or twelve to say about all these shenanigans? Some characters would believably be mute (Thane, Kasumi, to some extent even Garrus), but others would have a lot to say about all this. Miranda would be spouting off about how helpful it would be to Cerberus if Shepard could find and secure the Shadow Broker's files. Jack would be cursing randomly about everyone and everything. Grunt, Jacob, and Mordin would offer tactical advise of dubious quality, and Zaeed would be shooting things even when not in combat. Tali would be making jealous remarks every time Liara was around, because she wants the ShepTool all to herself.

I did like a lot of the Easter eggs and tiny reveals, like Aethyta being Liara's father. Some of the dossier stuff was downright silly and took me out of the experience. Legion's gaming and Tali's sexual awakening were just facepalmingly bad, but I have to remember that those characters are for the kiddies.

It has completely outshined the rest of the game for me. I liked it so much I was sort of depressed when it was over in that it showed what the whole game could have been if a different direction had been taken with the story and the squadmates.

This, I was kinda pissed that this dlc blows anything from the main game out of the water, I found it fun, I didnt like the lack of squad dialouge, but aside from that awesome dlc.

Why 8/10?

Because I felt they could have mede it slightly longer and it would have been cool if you could have obtained more info on the protheans or reapers.

Other than the nit picking, everything else was 100%. I really enjoyed the 2 boss fights and they were very different and more challenging than Saren and the human-reaper.

This.

It's honestly up there as some of the best that Mass Effect has to offer.

An easy 9.8 out of 10 for me. It totally blew me away and I have to agree, it is a step above anything found in the main game.

99,87% of all numeric ratings and estimates are meaningless and made on the spot.

That said, I loved this DLC, best one so far and I hope that future ones keep this standar of quality.

nitpickings:
+ It's undestandable that there is no squadmate dialogue, but if it had this, the DLC would probably have been the best DLC in the history of... ever.
+ The Intel Center is great, but feels a little pointless post SM.
+ The car sequence was kind of short.
And... uh, that's pretty much it. I'm pretty sure some people will find ways to hate soon enough :P

Would have been max score but the Liara romance scene was very tame. Little ass grabbing and thats it after remaining faitful to her through entire ME2???
Guess thats the problem with all ME2 romances though, they chickened out and made it kiddie-friendly compared to ME1.
Was half-expecting to see flock of storks flying in formation outside the captain's cabin's sunroof, with babies hanging from their beaks.
Info on the squadmates and videos were great after missions, poor frustrated Tali ^_^. The banter during mission was nice, should have been standard in all missions of ME2, certainly something to think about when making ME3.

The way how PC owners were screwed over at launch was horrible though. 1.5 gb download full of nothing but zeroes, no appology, no official statement, not removing broken exe file for hours and letting people to keep buying and downloading broken file. This was just horrible mess-up that soured this expansion for many people.
I dont even want to think what the SWTOR launch will look like when even small launch like this gets screwed up so badly.

A certain 9.9/10

It was everything I was hoping for, and more. The Shepard/Liara scenes where perfect. The boss fight was amazing, and made my Shepard realise that they may not infact be the greatest warrior out there. The dossiers where fun and interesting. I don't trust Feron. Liara's future looks to be awesome and interesting. Yep, I have no complaints. Best DLC i've played.

9/10 for me

This is by far the best I've seen, from Bioware's DLC's, in terms of the interactions, between Shep and a NPC (Liara), the goodies we got from SB Intel Base, the challange from a boss (Vasir), and the mix of humor & action, in the story.

I have to take 1/2 a point away for it not being as long as I had hoped.

And another 1/2 a point for making, yet, another rogue Spectre. ( I would like to see, at least once, one that could be an ally to Shep, in the battles that lie ahead)

I will say this, though, if this is just a taste, of what Bioware has in store, we're in for a great experience. IMO

I had some bugs (sound cut out during chase scene) and had to start over from the beginning due to saving at the wrong moment and getting stuck on a ledge...

This sucker was pure perfection, the only thing that bothered me really was the fact that Garrus and Tali had no lines with Liara what so ever.... It would have been nice for her to acknowledge them especially tali since she was my romance option!

Was awesome that she mentioned her in the bedroom though, she called her MRS. Vas Normandy, which was awesome.

It seems Shepard and Nihlus are the only two Specters that aren't bad. I'd like to meet one other Specter that I don't end up killing.
Paragon Interrupts. Paragon Interrupts everywhere.
Still have mute companions. I was hoping Garrison would talk more.
Oh yeah, I also had glitch that said one of my squadmates died.

But everything else was great. I really liked the teamwork you used to take on the SB I hope this a sign of things to come. The DLC team that ME2 has is God tier.
