Definitely 10/10. This is without a doubt the best DLC I've ever played. BioWare has done some great work. It seems like they've really got the hang of their technology now. The excellence of the DLC makes be feel very good about ME3.

Edit: I believe Liara being the new Shadow Broker should be canon in ME3, as something you did in the past after ME2, even if you didn't get the DLC to actually play through it.

Likely the reason for the muted audio when it came to squadmates was probably due to the fact it would've been troublesome to get back all the VAs for just a few lines.

I never give ratings. However, by all DLC standards, Lair of the Shadow Broker was off the charts.

LotSB exceeded my expectations by a million miles.

Tela Vasir was Boba Fett status badass.

The skycar chase was awesome, combat was intense along with the perfectly fit music, and finding out who and what the Shadow Broker was completely took me by surprise.

At first I thought it was a volus wearing a viking helmet.

I'm very impressed with BW and what they were able to do here. I really hope the yahg play a bigger role in ME3, I find them really fascinating. I can't wait to see what other dlc is being worked on, and how else it'll bridge the gap from ME2 to ME3.

Thanks BioWare!

I find this turn-around rather humorous in light of all of those "BIOWARE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT LIARA" complaints we've all had to suffer under in the past few months.

In any case,

10/10

This was BY FAR the best DLC and I've liked most of the past DLC's a great deal. Sure we got little things like the weapon/armor stuff and Firewalker but we've also had some pretty solid packages like Stolen Memories and Overlord but I never thought Lair would blow them all out of the water so effectively.

I did get Tali saying "Keelah" after the bombing and a reference to Garrus being Archangel when we confronted the Shadowbroker so that was enough for me - bringing back voice actors just to record a few lines is obviously not practical so its nice that Bioware is doing what they can. I do appreciate that they had quite a few lines acknowledging I had already finished the main plotline.

The two boss battles were amazing. Bioware has never been able to do good boss battles, the best probably being Darth Malak for KoTOR for simply being two guys with lightsabers whacking at each other. This was the first time I really felt like they got a BOSS character right, my mouth literally dropped when I realized she was using Charge against me and the melee sequences at the end were pretty bad ass.

As for Liara - I've always been fairly meh towards her. I found her a bit too obvious/dull in ME1, I generally started a romance with her on my playthroughs just to get the Liara/Ash triangle subplot going for added story, though ironically that decision really helped add a lot of subtext and warmth to her interactions with Shepard in this one, two people who may have gotten together but didn't for various reasons but retained a sort of emotional intimacy. I do have to say though, Liara really blossomed into a great character during the course of this dlc, the banter was great and the way they developed her character was amazing, even her voice work seemed to have a little extra oomph behind it.

I do wish the friendly get-together on the Normandy could have been a bit less "romantic" considering my Shep was happily in a relationship with Tali but that's neither her nor there I suppose and it was nice that she acknowledged it and commented.

So yeah...

More please.

I'm not much of guy that rates stuff. If you ask me if this is a must-buy or a most-not-buy, I'll definitely say that it's a must-buy. But you're asking me to rate it, so I'll say somewhere between 8 and 9. It's at least better than Overlord and Kasumi.

I'd give it an 8.5. It hit the mark well, had some nice dialogue and voice acting and had the best boss battles we've seen so far. But it could've been longer. It seems like I spent more time on Illium than I did on the SB ship, as well as spending more time outside the ship than in it. I also didn't like the reveal that Tela Vasir was working for the SB. I understand why they did it, but she was a pretty awesome character and I would've liked to have worked alongside a fellow Spectre as an ally.

9.5. Both Boss fights were great. Liara-Shepard moments felt realistic rather than press the top option to make her want to have your babies. Intel centre was very cool. Skycar chase was great. And seeing Liara crack the shadow broker was great. Amazing bioware

I would have to break it down into parts:

Storyline 8/10 - I loved the idea of Liara going up against the Shadow Broker. I think it could have been a little deeper though and a lot longer (maybe it will be, there is talk of it being in episodes)

Level Design 9/10 - Love the areas that were introduced, very well designed and made the action entertaining. Will not get as boring as some of the other areas after many playthroughs.

Boss Fights 6/10 - I must say I was a little disapointed. Playing as a Soldier on Insanity the fights seemed to be extremely easy.

Ending 4/10 - Simply put, finding out the Shadow Brokers true identity was a complete let down. I feel BioWare used the 'get out of jail free card' on this one. I really wished they would have used a well known, unexpected character from the main storyline or charater who was very closely tied to a squd member. Liara taking his place was a nice touch though.

Fluff/New Toys 7/10 - The fluff and new additions added were a nice touch. The squad retrain was very much needed.

Sound/Voice 3/10 - Seriously  a let down. If you were going to let current squadmates join you on the mission they should have had at least a few lines of dialogue, even if you were forced to take certain squadmates to limit the number of voice actors required. Sound FX's bug on my PC after the taxi chase and require a reload everytime (maybe just my computer though)

Has to be a 10/10

To be honest, if it was purely the mission, it probably would have been a 9/10, but the inclusion of the Shadow Broker Intel Center, and the scene with Liara, absolutely seals the deal.

A near perfect effort by Bioware.

Ok... How to put it best - This is BEST DLC I ever seen. It is even best part of ME2 for me, even better than collectors base. So I must say 9.9/10. Now why:
1) Dialogues - Great without anything I could add, funny, intense, actor-work was amazing from time to time...
2) Intensity of action - What can I say? Best action parts of ME is in this DLC.
3) Car sequence - Very nice handling of the car, funy stuff and jokes from Shepard... Maybe a little short but it is not problem because if this is too long it could get boring.
4) Story - Great except the final fight - I was quite shocked revealing who the Shadow Broker is... It was just too plain. This is only thing I actually find odd, so... This is why i give it 9.9/10. But to be honest it is too litle glitch and it is not THAT bad...

So - This is perfect, amazing... If there will be any new DLC expanding this I would be amazed. And the price? 800 bioware points? I would pay double knowing how awesome this is. And I had every DLC... Well except equalizer pack which I really dont want. But I am thinking about buying it just to support Bioware :).

Loved it.

The correspondence made me laugh - especially Miranda and Legion (one was dating services and the other Gamer). lol

Also some vis made me laugh, like a turian getting hit by that lawyer or politician on citadel I think.

I'd give it a constructive 7. There were some great moments, action, cinematics, and acknowledgements given.

I am glad that the Shadow Broker storyline was concluded in the DLC and that the writers added some exposition to Liara for her actions and attitude. I still do not buy her abrupt change in demeanor in ME2, but this fleshed out the situation and softened the characterization blow. She was more like her old self, just with a slight edge... rather than a 2x4 to the face.

I was pleased that Liara acknowledges your other relationships and talks quite a bit about the relationship you have with her (if you romanced her in ME1). I was also pleased that my other squadmates were acknowledged with one line or so by other characters. What I was unhappy about was the lack of squadmate interaction between everyone, though. Having Garrus and Tali around, past friends of Liara, should have at least earned some car banter or some relationship-dialogue follow up chats or some input throughout the mission. I know, that'd mean a bigger budget for VO, but I am judging this on the potential of what it could have been for this storyline. If squadmates had no new lines due to budget, then having them restricted from taking along on the mission might have been better.

I liked many of the inside jokes. I laughed a few times during the car banter, ship banter, and the holovids. Unfortunately some of the humor came off a little too over the top in the dossiers and some of them were written with what I felt was poor characterization.

I ran into a few game-stopping bugs, but restarting/reloading solved them.  All in all, it was a great step in the right direction of what kind of quality content should be put out there as DLC. So kudos and keep on getting better.

8/10. It was really good, but Shadow Broker's bullfrog identity really screwed everything for me.

And i missed all the banter during car sequence because of sound glitches. Annoying

 7/10 from me.

Good overall and one the best ME dlc to date.  but i did have a few gripes.

1) It felt more like a replacement for how they handled Liara, rather than an expansion on the existing content.
2) the car chase. It was so placid, and boring, lets not forget the dialogue...erk! I really didn't get the usual sense of excitement and tension that you expect in a high speed car chase.
3) Vasila whining that shepard and her are the same because he works for cerberus, implying that shepard had a choice!
4) The usual dlc nonsense, other characters didn't say anything, too short blah, blah, blah.
