Probably BW's best piece of DLC to date.

I had no bugs and everything ran smoothly -- I liked the car chase sines it's plain fun to something else than run around shooting people, If only for a little while.
I disliked the fight with the spectre though, Seems like Mass Effect has shed the last pretense of explaining things and jumped directly into the silly superhero fights.
On the other hand i loved the Brokers ship and the fight on it's hull, It reminded me of the fight to get up the citadel tower in ME1 - and the visuals where very good.

what's so strange about it? she was just doing charge that your average vanguard uses 24/7.

Very sold content package with nice touches all over. The hull battle was visually awesome and it was great to finally see an end to this struggle with the Shadow Broker. The dossiers & video clips were fun, too.
Now, I just don't know if I should break up with Tali to get back with Liara... Hmm, decisions... =P

Oh, and the paragon interrupts may have been the shortest I've ever seen. Had to refight the last fight because I missed the last one.

Shepard : "She bleeding".
Liana : "That's a lot of blood she must be hurt badly".
*vizia gets pushed into the water and jumps out surround by the telltale blue energy stuff of a biotic*
Shepard : "Ohh look at her now!"
Liara : "Her power is over 9000!!!"

Its great, but on PC it has got a bug (Liara's room) and it's not so long.

Great boss fights, awesome settings, high intesity story.
Only reason it isn't a 10 in my book is because it wasn't very long. Still worth every penny though.

8/10. My only beef really is the fact my squadmates just stand around like stiffs and aren't involved at all. Especially since I had Tali and Garrus with me the whole time. However, I can understand not paying the VAs to come back.
they should have had the squad voices at least a certain few but it seems like it was nothing about getting the voice actors back more of they purposely muted the squad members for the whole Liara Shepard stuff. which smells of fan service to the Liara fans.

Everything people clamoured for they got, leading to a very unfocused game really.

In the first part of the DLC, I felt that it needed some better music. Speaking of which, while strolling outside the SB's ship, there was almost no music at all. I did love their work during the final encounters however.
The ending was also very beautiful. Even though I hadn't romanced Liara, she acknowledged my Shep's relationship with Tali. Really made me smile. As a Paragon, I loved it how they made Shepard worried about the Reapers coming. Gives him more feeling.
All in all, best DLC!

Gameplay is fun as usual and there is some new tactical advancements (we can use our surroundings more effectively), also 2 challenging (especially at "Insanity" difficulty) boss fights awaits us. Graphics and voice acting is good as we used to it from ME2. Athmosphere is intense (not as much as Overlord DLC). Only bad thing for me was 2-3 cliché talkings and actions that lower intensity of athmosphere.

(short version: - 1 for the lack of real decision making, -0,5 for the lack of investigation parts, and having only gunfights again.
I, for one, found the New Shadow Broker role obvious, and was satisfied with that outcome.)

To everyone who is disappointed with Shadow Broker identity, the way I see it, the actual persona behind the Shadow Broker mask is irrelevant (this SB was in power for only 60 years, there was one before it and probably a few more before that). What is important is the very idea of this complex network of information which can be used for benefit or destruction of others. And now we have Liara handling that network which should undoubtedly help a great deal in the upcoming battle against the Reapers.
Bioware - Thank You! Can we have more? Please? Pretty please?

Pros-The story was written better than the main game. The cinematics were flawless. It really made me attached to Liara in a whole new way. Skycar chase was a great new feature of the game. It was a thrill ride from start to finish.
Cons- Didn't incorporate any other squadmates whatsoever. Liara should have addressed Garrus, Tali, Miranda. Could have been a little longer.
This sums up my review. Garrus didn't speak the entire time, what a letdown! AND I cheated on her with him!
Grunt was funny though. "Finally, some action!" when Baria Frontiers gets bombed.

IMO, this was by far the best DLC in the ME series I've played. Often, I feel like they make elements (i.e. the Hammerhead section in Overlord, or the turrets in BDTS) just to add length - this piece had actual story and depth, and I loved it. There were so many throwbacks to ME1 that I also just adored. The entire stretch on the outside of the SB's ship reminded me so much of walking along the vents in the Citadel on the way to reach Saren. I really felt this was everything I was expecting and more, and I left with a very positive impression of Liara and a full understanding of her cameo in ME2 and why she acted the way she did. I can only hope we'll get a VS DLC of this caliber in the future.

also i did like the fact that the shadow broker wasnt someone that shepherd knew so all the predicitions people made were all wrong but he was a prominent and often mentioned enemy in both games yet his story comes to an end in 1 short assault which was pretty dumb.
but apart from those 3 things it was a decent addition to the shepherd/liara story so il give it 7.

Higher quality than any part of the base game, actually. Only real downside, as mentioned by many, was the lack of squad banter from/to your third party member.
