People are getting technical "Hes cool cuz he haz this power".

Sorry but that poll is about the characters, right?

Looking forward to seeing the results.

The more results the more interesting things pop up. I never knew that the ration of Male and Female players of Mass Effect is pretty close.

Well, no character now has an average rating of 8 or higher anymore. Standard deviations are also way up across the board, though ironically, some character's standard deviations have actually gone down... like Tali's for example.

Something is fishy. There are way more people giving 1's to every character now.

Here are some numbers:

Ashley
Average: 6.17
SD: 2.79

Kaidan
Average: 5.93
SD: 2.94

Wrex
Average: 7.79
SD: 2.37

Garrus
Average: 7.80
SD: 2.71

Tali
Average: 7.00
SD: 3.21

Liara
Average: 6.94
SD: 2.59

Mordin
Average: 7.51
SD: 2.53

Miranda
Average: 5.97
SD: 2.74

Legion
Average: 7.50
SD: 2.73

Well, doing some additional analysis:

Tali

Average: 6.79

Standard Deviation: 3.25

That standard deviation is just mind-boggling. Then again, many people appear to be purposely voting her down.

Liara:

Average: 7.26

Standard Deviation: 2.5

Legion:

Average: 8.04

Standard Deviation: 2.11

Standard deviations are much higher across the board now, compared to the last three surveys.

Those results are far from accurate and this poll is flawed. Set up another poll where people can only vote once, and not multiple times.

Agreed. This poll is definitely bugged. People can vote more than once. XX55XX, please set it up again where you can only vote once. The SD is clear, as people are voting multiple times for their favorite and especially least favorite characters.

Google Docs doesn't allow for that... most unfortunately.

Not true. Simply to TEST it, I voted again, and it successfully recorded my vote. Let me be clear, I did that only to see if it worked, I never taint votes like that simply because I like to see legitimate results.

No, I meant that I can't restrict access to whoever views the form. I can, however, restrict access to whoever views the spreadsheet, however.

There's no way to IP lock it so that people can vote only once?

Hmm. I just came up for an idea to prevent people from voting twice.

It will work, but it will require far more work on my part, but if the results are far more accurate, then it might be worth it.

Okay, guys, I have just come up with an idea for user verification in order to prevent people from double-voting. Unfortunately, I will be asking people here to post in the poll's official thread in order to have their vote recorded for the record. Usernames will be recorded this time around.

However, the next iteration of this poll will ask people very sensitive questions, like username on the BSN, sex, sexual orientation, and age. In order to maintain the privacy of people voting, I will be restricting access to the spreadsheet. Does go fine with everyone? If you want to see the spreadsheet, I will give access to it on a case-by-case basis.

Is that fine with everyone? Sounds good to everyone?
