I was logged in. I download via in game. I just tried something and now it works--I read that the profile.dap file in my documents\\\\bioware\\\\dragon age\\\\settings can become unwritable so I renamed it to force the game to create a new one. Now ALL of my content is authorized and I'm currently able to play witch hunt! Just loaded my character and watched the opening movie.

If you haven't tried this yet, you should. Fixed it for me right away.

I have the same problem as tryxtimus. I bought witch hunt, it says it's downloading, but there is a red exclamation point and its at 0%. I am so sick of this, i have had unique issues with every Dragon age dlc. Last time i found the solution in a PIRATE BAY FORUM! I have bought the game and awakening on disc and paid for all the dlc. I think piracy is wrong i own my own business and think people should pay for services rendered. I paid for this and got nothing but wasted time. These are the kinds of the things that ruin pc gaming im sure i could figure it out, but i will just play Starcraft 2 instead.

If you're still experiencing authorization issues, I would ask if you could confirm if the Dragon Age Updater service is running/installed correctly?

For example, in Win XP, click Start then Run
type in: services.msc
Check if the "Dragon Age: Origins Updater" service is listed
Run the game and alt-tab out when at main menu
Check if the "Dragon Age: Origins Updater" service is now saying Started as its Status

If the service is listed, but not started when the game is running, try right clicking on it in the services window above, and changing the startup type to Automatic. (you may need to exit and restart DAO again to see if that worked)

The Dragon age updater service is running just fine on my computer Win XP 32 bit, but I am still getting the same problem.

I'm having a tough time with Witch Hunt and Golem both. I installed 1.04. I bought Witch Hunt, Golem, Darkspawn and the Feastday stuffs. The two latter DLCs seem to be working just fine. However, Witch Hunt will not complete extracting, even after I manually downloaded and installed it; I did the same with Golem, but it keeps saying my account is unauthorized to use the content. Grrrrr...

Bought Which Hunt, Leliana's Song and The Golems of Amgarrak, tried installing them. I own Steam version of DA:O, so auto-updated to 1.04. All 3 downloads are either stuck at 0, 100 or downloaded but fail to install. Tried clearing download catch and switching off firewall, nothing. Please help!

This fixed the authorization issue for me, but there is still the problem of half my DLC not downloading at all. All the collectors edition stuff, Witch Hunt, Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner wont download, they just stay at 0% forever.

I am having the same problem. However with the "Golems Of Amgarrak" addon. I tried to look in to that patch 1.04 but according to the download site then I should already have it installed as I already have the dragon age awakening expansion pack installed as well.

I never tried to install any of the addons before (actually first found out about them last night when I bothered to check the online site for the first time, lol) But anyways. I was hoping to get all the addons, including the witch hunt one too. But it wont allow me to install anything. I did try to use the mini walkthrough about how to save the .dazip file to your pc manually, but that doesnt work either... It keeps giving me an error message every time I try to install it from there (through the daupdate.exe window)

Am using vista 32bit

had the same problem with dlc's not authorized. renaming of profile.dap didn't work for me, but the manual start of the service while the game was running did it.

I purchased the Digital Deluxe version through Steam, and not once have I ever seen any DLC listed within the Available or Installed Content pages of the game. I don't know how to access ANY of it, nor do I know if it's even installed.

In case it matters, the DA:O Config Utility shows:

DAOrigins.exe = v1.04

DAOriginsLauncher.exe = v1.01

DAOriginsConfig.exe = v1.03

I just don't get it... My profile shows my account has access to related content, with no links to DL it as if it's already installed. I just can't figure out how to access any of it. Do I have to reach certain points in the campaign, or what?

I need some help... Perhaps a proper how-to.

Ok, I kept trying over and over again and now it finally installed, but now I ran in to another problem instead.. It is telling me that my game version of DA is too old when the download is done and then in game under the installed content tab its listed as "missing requirements"

I do have DA awakening installed already however, but is there anything else that I am missing? am btw using the retail version for both origin and awakening (no steam here)

I can't even log on to the game to try what carokube suggested.

It says i'm disconnected from the internet, though it is not so. What to do?
