My dalish warden who romanced Leliana and was best friends with Morrigan and convinced Alistair to sleep with her, did not get the proper response. I was pissed, so pissed I couldn't finish it I just turned off my xbox. I'm still pissed and I refuse to finish until this fixed. I used my Awakening save.I like how both Alistair and I live in all my saves, he visits me in Awakening as king and we both live but somehow Morrigan thinks I betrayed her. I didn't betray her she's my sister.

If anything has convinced me not to buy DA2 it's this dlc. And I really enjoyed the rest of it, seeing the circle, Sandal, that rumor the mages were spreading about me with the nugs..... But to have such a bug at such a dramatic moment. UHG

I just want to it to be fixed ;-;

According to some people the only way to get rid of the bug is to import your character after you finish the coronation like DOYOURLABS said. Meaning once the Coronation is done and you go through the ending you don't save again afterwards you leave the game as is and bring your character into any other DLC.

I didn't do that it seems so I wasted a lot of time and energy bringing my brand new Elf Mage through DAO, then DA Awakenings and then Golems of Amgarrak before bringing her into Witch Hunt which gave me the same bug that many are having. So the only way to get the proper ending is to go back to my post Coronation Auto-Save and re-import her to Witch Hunt or to any of the other DA expansions including Awakenings to get the proper ending which I feel is stupid anyways. I shouldn't have to put another 20-30 hours into a character I already have.

I've forgiven pretty much every bug in the games so far - Sentinal armor bugged, oh well, just cosmetic.  Vigilance looks like Starfang?  Meh, no big deal.  Warden showed up naked in Awakening, ooops, I had other armor, so it's ok.  Alistair showed up as King when I made Anora Queen and married her?  Annoying - very annoying - but I let it go.
This bug is beyond excuse.

Unfortunately, if enough people are willing to spend money on new DLC despite the laundry list of glaring bugs and sloppy testing in content released-to-date, then there's not much incentive for EA to allocate resources for fixes post-release (or change the testing process pre-release). They get their money either way.

Consider how long it took to get a substantive patch for Origins and how many defects remain uncorrected. Based on precedent, it seems reasonable to assume that any DLC (and likely DA2) is going to be buggy on release and won't get fixed for many months. It is also reasonable to assume that people will just buy it anyway, so why should EA change a process that's clearly generating revenue?

I'm not so much concerned about the ending, but whether or not the import from witch hunt will be right for DA2. I can deal with a bad DLC but if in DA2 or anything past that says I didn't do the ritual, I'm going to be pissed.

I'm sure you guys already have an idea of the bug, but I have played through several imports of the same character and I know what causes it.

It's from Origins, after the epilogue... when you guys let us pretend we are doing things before the final battle...

The bug is Morrigan doesn't recognize the Dark Ritual.

1. Loaded my character from awakening, in which I loaded from a post-epilogue save... bugged.

2. Loaded same character from epilogue save itself, the post-campaign one... no bug.

3. Then to prove it wasn't awakening, I imported the epilogue save to awakening, then to golems, then to Witch Hunt, and no bug. She reacted correctly.

The reason why so many people are getting this bug is because most people play after the epilogue, even if it's just to switch equipment. So that's what I think.

Great. Since I only have my post-epilogue save, I need to start a new character.

Give the devs some time, they say they are working to solve this. Maybe you won't need to replay everything. Image IPB

yes, bioware should fix it. however, you should still have a auto-epilogue save attached to your character, so you wouldn't have to replay origins. unless you deleted it or saved over it.

A fix better dam hap[pen. This ruins my gameplay experience and shows me that the DAO debug team does nothing but sit on there ass.

It still amazes me that they haven't fixed the Soldier's keep texture bug.

The soldiers keep texture bug is what worries me that they won't fix this. But I just played my origins non-epilogue save, and I was bug free. Post epilogue saves are the problem.

I wish I was playing on PC, I'm sure they have a way to manipulate flags or something to fix this...

I've seen multiple dev posts saying they are working on it. I hope we get a fix soon, or at least a message about when we can expect one. And if they say "we can't fix it, you're boned.", some form of compensation would be nice.

Link please?

I hope they fix this, the dlc generally was great even if they didn't reveal several questions, but this really drove me nuts... I did the ritual....

And what's up with the numerous I'm gonna kill her/you >_> ... and my pc looking angry...

the mysterious gift let's me wonder though... They could have ment the items you receive for completing witch hunt.... though I hope it's simply an open ending...

Not great closure of a great game though.... my warden simply walking away....

I used an old save and got a non-bugged ending, and I was unimpressed. There is not much difference in dialogue.

Except that Witch Hunt isn't bugged, and giving you wrong information, breaking the continuity of your character... besides that it doesn't like add more content. It's not that kind of bug... but I do hear there is suppose to be a epilogue save for Witch Hunt... maybe a Epilogue? Brief... that would be cool.

I think it just does an autosave after the ending. True all of those things are great, but i meant lore wise. I'd love to not have a screwed up save. I need to delete all my witch hunt test playthroughs once the patch comes, which is going to make it all so much more complicated.

I think you have to import the autosave after the ending. because any other save other than the autosave after you beat the game says your only after the landsmeet. So the ritual didnt take place yet.... so it probably automaticly says you denied her at redclife because it didnt happen yet. I have not tried a playthrough of witch hunt with the autosave though.

(witch hunt ending) what the hell is that suppose to mean unless we see morrigan and warden in dragon age 2, the warden's story is going to remain a Mystery and that sucks definitely $UCK$.

I don't understand it. No bugged experience but will my decision to go with her, let her go, or kill her have any impact on dragon age two? Shame on you Bioware. Loyal but unfulfilled fan.

Does it maybe have to do with playing the character through Awakening? My character romanced Morrigan, got her ring, and did the Dark Ritual. She acknowledged everything but the ring when I got to her.

It's most likely a post-epilogue save problem, not awakenings. You need to have the ring equipped throughout the game I think.

if you import a proper save to awakening and then the save file of awakening to witch hunt, does it fix the bug ?
