Heres the problem... I didn't really care for Liara in ME1. She was kind of lame but now in ME2...... ****. She is the best, she is really hardcore and really cares for Shepard.

However I did romance Miranda, the problem lies in the fact that I haven't had enough content to really care about Miranda's character anymore and Liara is really kick ass in the DLC.

Can I start a romance with Liara if I didn't in ME1?

And who would you choose? Liara or Miranda?

I prefer miranda, Liara is kinda cheesy

I romanced Ashley in the first game during my first playthrough, then I did Liara on my second.

I really loved Liara in ME1... the fact that her character oozed naivete really gave her that soft edge that I was looking for. Compared to Ashley, of course. But then ME2 rolled around, and well, she changed.

So I dumped her for Tali instead.

But now, with this DLC, I think I am going back to Liara.

I feel bad for saying this but I would pick Liara. It was hard for me to decide until I read a letter the Shadow Broker had. Miranda can't have kids. It really breaks my heart to say this but that was the deciding factor for me. I left Miranda and went back to Liara.

Liara cant have Shepards kids
And It isn't actually stated Miranda is completley unfertile, The Dossier says the condition can make it harder or impossible but which extent miranda has it is anyones guess

No, I don't think so. I don't think you'll get to see the third paragon interrupt at Azure or the one on the ship.

I'm totally torn, I don't feel like Shepard 'cheated' on Liara with Miranda as by the time my Shep started chatting up Miranda, Liara but already been pretty weird and cold when I saw her on Illium. My Shep felt blown off and moved on.

That said, when Liara says - "Us, what about you and Miss Lawson and her low-cut jump suit" I totally froze with horror. In the end, though Liara and my Shep kissed again, I picked 'I want to be friends' and she looked very sad.

The asari take genetic material from the 'father' species and randomize it. So... yes... she can have Shepard's kids since it is his genetic material she is using.

I don't think it said Miranda was infertile... just that she was unable to have children. I'm pretty sure that's what it said.

It was Fairly Vague, She may or may not be able to have children. Can't know for sure

I'm sticking with Miranda. i brought that blue clown to the Normandy to get my gamer score for doing that. Miranda is the better woman and its sad that Bioware has to protect the little b*tches from ME 1 in ME 2. because when Liara opened her mouth about Miranda I wanted to shove my hand cannon in her mouth and pull the trigger and blow her head off.

They provide two sets of genes to the offspring... one of which is randomized with the 'father' species's genes and provided as a map. I described it in the wrong way...

simply use it as a "map" to randomize the genes of the offspring.

Per the ME Wiki.

So in essence... the offspring is part of the 'father' species in a unique way and any children would be Sheps.

This is describing it in the mystical way that asari consider it...
