This has been discussed to death,
We came to the conclusion she did it due to the engine core being only place bug free and you cannot see the spot they do it from jacob/mordin window

If it is truly canon.. then the writers and continuity checkers lose all respect and respectability... it is so far OOC that it is ludicrous.

The only thing that was good was the letter with Oriana and her Medical reports, this stupid sex chat things where complete BS and again hurt her character. It's like bioware is hell bent on making look like she is just there for sex >.>

Because it looks like she was looking for Casual Encounters Getting together with Shepard would have been anything but Casual. There were feelings there. And their relationship would mess with their work lives so she was cautious. Makes sense to me.

I feel ya but the fact that she can't have kids was the deciding factor for me picking Liara. I know that's horrible to say but I have to be honest. Also there was more to it than that but like I said that was the prime factor for me leaving her.

We didn't know much about her to begin with. The writers dictate her actions, not you.

Leaving a woman because she can't have kids is just stupid, and selfish. Especially if they are in love.
Besides there are many other ways to have kids.

It's down to the invididual, so while I agree it's a sad factor, for some it's reason enough. Wouldn't it be just as bad to stay with her out of pity? That's the opposit end of the spectrum. Personally it's not an issue for me either way. I felt the situation and the casual encounters amde her more of a realistic character. Deeper.

As it is my current Renegade is well on his way to beating Saren, getting pissed at Ashley on H, and then is going to persue Miri. Never have before, so it should be interesting.

Very slightly off topic, but does Liara have comments on all your LIs? And is it only if you've cheated on her?

Indeed she does. On my playthrough she made some comment about Garrus doing more than just calbrating the Normandy's guns.
