Honestly i feel kind of gipped, while it was nice to see Morrigan, despite how extremely brief it is Overrall this didnt feel worth 7 dollars. It felt rushed and incomplete in many parts.

But then again, i suppose thats the point of DLC, to take the fans money without giving them something truly meaningful in return. Or at least thats the trend that it has been with the Dragon Age DLC in my opinion.

All in all, i felt this was a half-hearted attempt to stem the criticism and ire Bioware is receiving from some of its fans in regards to DA2. But thats my opinion.

Anyone else feel similar?

Might as well saved my money and bought an indy game off steam...

Oh, I definitely got robbed of $7 here.

Game was too short, pretty boring (although to be fair, I did like Ariane) and then screwed by PC royally by reversing every choice he'd made relating to Morrigan.

What a piece of crap this was.

There's also no autosave at end so these choices u make at end of dlc will have no effect on the da world or in da2 it will be as if the dlc never happend. Even more reason why this dlc was a failure.

I have never said anything bad about Bioware, but honestly this DLC made me question them. First off, my dog had to be renamed. So, I guess it wasen't really "my" dog, I suppose his save data was thrown out long ago. Then the big ending..the big suprise I have been waiting for when Morrigan's secrets are revealed. Her and my Warden had a romance and she acted like they hated eachother. Yes, I got the Dark Ritual Bug...that on top of the "ending" really left a sour taste in my mouth. For the first time ever, I feel robbed.

I haven't bought it yet for fear of the bug. If that bug is as rampant as this board makes it seems, that's some pretty epic fail. I mean, how do you miss that huge of a bug? By having one playtester "test" the game for about three and a half minutes, I would guess.

Actually, I think a better question is, is anyone actually satisfied with this piece of garbage?

Yeah, I the guy I used followed through with the ritual, yet Morrigan kept harping on me that I didn't take her up on her offer.  That was the only reversal I noticed.

The problem is thy this dlc ain't a conclusion to our warden at all. You don't know what happens to him no matter what choice you make thanks to this crap dlc.

Uh...so it ignored everyone's major choice? The end was a complete wtf for me. That wasn't the game I played at all! Bug, or forced decision?

I can't help but wonder if one of the things Morrigan said was a dig at the fanbase who doesn't like the changes in DA2, given how often they repeat a certain mantra, and how close to it what Morrigan said was.

I enjoyed it, overall, it felt like a real story, more so than anything for a long time, although I was irritated that no one acknowledged that my character was anyone but the warden. It was great to have dog with me again. I love Dog. I can see why they didn't bother with Alistair being there. The DLC took away the only reason his presence would matter. I didn't find it short, but I read lots of things and took my time. The length was fine.

With all the criticism of the dialogue system in Awakening, I'm baffled as to why they continue to do virtually the same thing. Characters refuse to talk to you--which drives me absolutely out of my mind. You can't even pet your dog. They chose when they will talk to you, talk for a time they chose, and then won't talk when you want to. They tell anecdotes in the middle of battles so you miss the whole thing. Tell you what, companion, I'm not going to listen to you prattle if you can't answer civily when I talk to you and answer my damn questions at a time of my choosing. ;)

I can't say I was disappointed. It was fun, but the ending kind of spoiled it for me, and that whole dialogue thing.... Talking to the companions in a way that was under my control was one of the things I liked the most about DA:O.

I felt satisfied with the ending since my warden went through the mirror with Morrigan.

I'd be absolutely shocked if there weren't a number of people that were disappointed. Everything BioWare releases has at least some people that don't like it. Not a knock against those that aren't pleased with it. just an observation that there's no way BioWare is going to please anyone (I personally have no opinion at this point, as I've not played through it yet).

I was kinda pissed that Morrigan kept saying I refused her at Redcliffe. But I'm a flexible human being, I don't complain much, I was completely ready to simply ignore the dialouge where she says I refused the DR but the ending completely killed it for me. Unless they patch it somehow to make sure it acknowledges the DR choice in origins I doubt I'm gonna play it again.

The only reason I'm disappointed is because it is essentially a completely broken product. the main thing that sold me on it does not work. I got the major bug that kills the ending. Oh, and the tag line is Morrigan's secrets revealed which is a outright lie. I have not vented one word of negativity towards any DLC until now. I even liked the Feastday pack, but this is just wrong.

Wait until Morrigan tells you that you didn't do the DR and never mentions your relationship.

Come let us know what you think then.Posted Image

I second this. I'm going along thinking "hey this is pretty good"... then Morrigan started talking....:huh:<_<:crying:::HEAD EXPLOSION:: ..... in that order. Stupid game-breaking bugs.

- i went through the mirror: enter the credits???

- i stayed back and was supposed to find something "interesting" in the book - but right after i see the book - enter credits???

- i kill her - credits???

feels like a major bug. what is supposed to happen in those endings? there wasnt even a voiceover or anything...

If the ending's as buggy as I've been reading, you can color me disappointed as well. Oh, and that should read "There's no way BioWare is going to please everyone", not 'anyone'.

I would have been pleased if they recognized my Warden's ending. Sure, it would have still felt short and a abrupt ending but I could have lived with it. I couldn't however accept Morrigan telling my Warden, whom she loved, to basically get lost and how he rejected her.

lol my game totally blew up and now i had to re-download the whole thing and figure out how to get even my old DLCs to work again. I was so jealous at you guys for playing Witch hunt while i nerd raged over my computer....i guess now im not that jealous anymore XD....

To have your lover totally smack you in the face and said you betrayed her would definately be a heart breaker...all because of a damn bug!. hopefully a patch would be released soon

I liked the dlc - esp the characters, and havent experianced the same bug as alot of people (im on xbox) BUT that ;interesting book annoyed me and what i really wanted from it was a voiceover or somthing at the end telling me what happens to me - something along the lines of i go back to denerim with alister! but nothing!!! it felt like half a dlc!!! And Sandals voice WTF bioware?

The only issues I have with Bioware is they seem not to test their DLC;'s or product enough before giving it to us. I would have no issues if some DLC's or expansion were delayed a few weeks to fix alot of bugs instead of releasing them asap as is.......but I did really enjoy the game and all the add ons, and I haven't been this involved and addicted to a game in a very long time, so overall great job Bioware.

How is that a bug?  You finished the DLC.

In any case, there were some disappointing things to me, like the change in Sandal's voice.  On the other hand, "rushed" is obviously the wrong word for this DLC - there were too many small touches like companion dialogues and mage apprentices gossiping about my Orlesian Warden to suggest that that time wasn't taken on this.
