It might be a challenge to balance a mission to work equally well with either a Soldier and a Sentinel (ie: two opposite classes, one straight combat, the other a hybrid of the two caster roles), but after what I saw from LotSB, BioWare is up to the challenge.

Wrex is a possibility, but "demanding" Wrex is just setting yourself up for disappointment. Newcomers to ME2 probably don't even know who Wrex is, because the default outcome on a new unimported ME2 game is a dead Wrex.
I cast my vote (and hopes) for an Alliance/Cerberus DLC. Can involve Anderson, TIM, Virmire survivor and Oriana, if Shepherd flipped TIM the bird at the end.
To be fair, newcomers probably also don't know much or care at all about who Liara is.

Thats true. If they are starting at ME2 then they are missing out on a lot.casedawgz wrote...

Afterwards:
Helping Garrus tracking down a criminal who stole the data of how to heal his mother, afterwards a long talk with Garrus...somehow this char is one of my favs.
Something to bring peace/war between geth and quarians to an end.

Newcomers don't need to buy the DLC if they don't want to. But many fans have been playing their Commander Shepard from ME1. Many have multiple playthroughs. Some have not done romances with other ME2 characters, because they're that dedicated to Ashley and Kaidan. Some have probably never killed Wrex because they think he's awesome. The ME games are supposed to be a trilogy--I know they're supposed to be "stand alone" as well, but I think some confusion should be expected if you're jumping into the second or third part of a trilogy anyway.
And if BioWare is truely serious about their whole stat thing, then they should consider this: 50% of the ME2 playthroughs were with ME1 imports. So, with their stats, 50% of the people here are going to know who Ashley, Kaidan, and Wrex are, and likely want some closure. Especially Kaidan/Ashley fans. A small Horizon cameo doesn't cut it, with the VS mad at us and Shepard not having good replies to Ash/Kaid's questions. It would suck to have to wait another year and a half for closure, when we've already been waiting three.
I'm pretty sure BW could do an interchangeable mission for Wrex & Wreav, Kaidan & Ashley, but with differing character development.
But I agree with your vote/hopes for Ashley and Kaidan DLC.

Honestly, I'm expecting the next DLC to involve the Alliance, and the Virmire survivor. With the Liara fans having been given an opportunity to continue their relationship, the Ashley/Kaiden fans will be demanding their turn soon.

Oh, we've already been demanding.

I hope we don't have too much to worry about with that anymore. Over half the players of ME2 have imported a save file, a number which apparently dwarfed the expectations of the developers. With luck, they will understand this to mean that adding more tie-ins to the previous games, and more character expansions, is a good path to take.
I have to say I support this message.
Most (almost all) of those I know who have played Mass Effect 2 did so either with a carry on file, or just played ME2 fresh, BUT bought ME1 to get a full story as well after that.
Bioware thinks too little of us
I agree with Casey Hudson with his wish/thoughts on making ME more cinematic, etc. I can REALLY deal with a Shadow Broker DLC style ME3. However, story tie ins need to greatly increase from ME2, not decrease to silly stand alone status.

There also need to be a sequel to Bring Down The Sky
Wilson's betrayal should be explained in a future DLC (who he worked for etc)
And I think there should be an Anderson DLC where he quits his job if he's a councilor to fit with the canon of Retribution

Wilson's betrayal is explained in Lair of the Shadow Broker. He was an agent for the Shadow Broker, read over the dossiers again (I think it's in the Cerberus one, not sure, but it is definitely in there somewhere).
And good god, no. Udina should only be put on the Council if we immediately get the option to assassinate his sorry butt. He'd be a terrible choice, and it would be a terrible step towards ruining one of the few bits of freedom these games give you.
Forget Retribution, it's non-canon, and I pray it stays that way.

But Wrex can die. It'd be silly to base an entire DLC around a character that some players may not even have alive in their playthroughs. You could base it on clan Urdnot since his brother can stand in for him however.
i don't give a crap if Bioware can serve up something for the Liara fans they can do the same for us Wrex fans

Make it a Krogan DLC where you either help Wrex or his brother. That way those that killed Wrex (WHY!?) can also use the DLC.

What I think will really happen is that we'll get something involving the VS that will help bring them back over.

Besides, some sort of reconciliation with your remaining former squadmate/possible LI (and perhaps the Alliance too) would be most welcome.
