Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot but I don't actually see this item (whatever it is) show up anywhere in-game. I've loaded another character and it's not in his inventory. I also checked Bodahn's store and it wasn't there either. I can confirm that it is installed and enabled in my game.

Did you complete the Witch hunt DLC? It says that you have to get the achievements to unlock the items. I loaded my Awakenings game after I did the Witch Hunt with an Origins save and the items were in my inventory.

Well I completed it and got the achievement witch hunter, but after I loaded my saved game (the one I imported into witch hunt) the only items I had were those I found, nothing called witchcraft (and actually, I lost some of the items I found too, a little buggy). What is witchcraft and what does it do??

Yes, I completed Witch Hunt. No I didn't receive anything. Do I have to get all of the achivements (including the one where you have to defeat the monster in hard or nightmare mode)? That is the only achievement that I lack.

You get an item for every achievement. Meaning if you only do 2 achievements you only get two items.

And if you still don't get the items, check the downloadable content, make sure it's installed and enabled.

It is installed and enabled. What I'm wondering about is the item (I presume it's an item) called Witchcraft that you need to install for both Origins and Awakening.

ETA: Oh, my bad. I did actually receive three items: a robe, a bow and a...belt?  Even still, what is this 'Witchcraft' thing? If it doesn't work, is there any reason why I shouldn't just remove it then?

The main problem is that at no point anywhere does it say what Witchcraft actually is, just that you have to get some achievements to unlock it. I'm in the same boat, I met the requirements to unlock it but the only thing I've got are a couple of items which are actually MUCH weaker than they were in the DLC. I have no idea if those items are meant to be "Witchcraft" or whether its a skill as the name suggests or what it is. Usually if you implement something it's a good idea to let people know what it actually is. Game developers are getting slacker and slacker, first it was to not provide any instructions of use and now it's gone to just not telling you what it even is.

It DOES say. In the downloadable content window, the achievmentsyou need and the name of the item. Just like Leliana's Song and Golems of Amgarrack, actually.  The name "witchcraft is just a title of the content pack.

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about. I didn't have this problem with Leliana's Song (haven't finished GoA yet), as the armor shows up perfectly fine in the inventories of all my characters. What 'downloadable content' window are you referring to? Where does it say what achievements you need? Could you possibly tell me everything I'm supposed to be receiving after completing Witch Hunt?

I have a robe (vestments of the seer), a belt (cinch of skillful maneuvering) and a bow (the sorrows of arlathan). Is there supposed to be anything else?

What platform are you on? I suppose that could alter it. I use a PC, and there is a window for DLC. "Witchcraft" is the title for the content package (not the Witch Hunt DLC, mind you. This is listed separately), and the description in the package lists the four items you can unlock for use in subsequent game.

The only one you're missing is a two handed axe called the Dragonbone Cleaver. I haven't seen the DA:O version yet, only the one for Awakening. It's quite pretty, and the stats are nice. Oghren is using it to great effect.

Ah, I see. I found out in another thread that you get the axe for completing the end 'boss' on hard or nightmare difficulty. Thanks for the help.

Oh, I get it. So you mean all that gold I spent on enchantment runes was for nothing? Crap. At least that explains why they didn't export out.
