The DLC had a song or two that I did not hear on the original soundtrack, and I assume that means that the songs were made especially for the DLC (which would make sense). That is a problem for me though. I enjoyed the hell out of those pieces of music and unfortunately cannot get them (360 Player).

So, my question is does anyone know where I can get the music from the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC?

A bit of it was music from the first game.. Is this it?

Otherwise, you got me stumped.

Was thinking more of the "theme" for LOTSB, I believe it was in the trailer for the DLC as well.

Yeah, the song in the trailer is awesome, I wouldn't mind buying just that one song.

That combat music really reminds me of the score to Inception crossed with a little bit of Batman Begins/The Dark Knight.  I wonder if they got Christopher Nolan to direct the DLC?

The boss combat music doesn't have the same note progressions and horn blasts that say "Inception" and "Batman Begins" to me; it feels more like the battle sequence at the beginning of Gladiator, crossed with a little bit of the Overlord DLC (which is not a good thing, I found that music to be way too repetitive).  But still, holy cow, can you say epic?

Great stuff.

Other battle music sounds better on its own, but really, seeing Shadow Broker battle footage with this music was amaaaazzzingggg.:o

I liked the LotSB music, however i didn't find it that memorable. I loved the Overlord music though!

I, for one, actually enjoy it a lot. Overlord was very synth-heavy, making it sound very "sci-fi-ish". That was something lacking from a lot of the main ME2 tracks, they were all good, but not a lot of them sounded like science fiction.

Overlord, however, did that a lot more - and I think LotSB is a happy balance between "epic" orchestral music and the futuristic atmosphere ME should evoke. Good stuff!

The combat music is awesome, but I think the piece I liked the most was the one you could hear at Liara's apartment. Very atmospheric ♥ So far I'm very impressed with the soundtrack for both Overlord and LotSB.

For those who didn't play ME1, so didn't notice, the DLC features the tracks Vigil and The Alien Queen from the original Mass Effect soundtrack, so they're easily available if you want them.

Yeah, the Vigil music was pretty awesome! i cannot wait to replay the dlc, many, many times, with my second main. Apparently, the romance scene music plays, and apparently the meeting with Shep in her cabin is more than just a firendly get together (OMFG!!!! <3)

So, who composed this music? I know Sonic Mayhem did Kasumi. Not sure about Overlord or this one.

The music did remind me of the Dark Knight's music. Very similar. I liked Tela Vasir's battle theme the best though. That fight made me love the Biotic Charge.

Thank you!

These are much better quality than anything I could find. Any chance you could also upload the atmospheric track that plays at Liara's apartment (and any others I might forget)? I'm muxing the whole thing together for my ME2 extended soundtrack.

There has been new music in most of the Mass Effect 2 DLC released so far. I guess that means BioWare have an in-house composer or two for the series, instead of contracting out the work.  I actually like the new stuff more than the original game's soundtrack, and a new song or two goes a long way towards making feel fresher, even more so than new art assets in my opinion.

Thank you good sir, but I had already tried to use that one and it is nowhere near sound quality of the files javierabegazo uploaded. :(

examples of perfect soundtracks.
great (electronica and new age, too perfect)

awesome

flawless

beautiful

the only DLC's that really had distinctive music was kasumi, and zaeed... the last two sound alot alike... but then again, the mass effect 2 musical theme has periodical reoccurrence at certain missions (like with the collectors; they have a theme within a theme of a them type of thing)... dude a progressive electronica+string quartet type of theme for the next DLC would be sweet (perfect), depends on the DLC's context (story+setting)... i think such a concept would have went well with Shadow Broker (which was mainly orchestration)... they should use some electronica rock orchestration elements next time... or some cool upbeat rock & roll stuff ... or hardcore techno stuff

Zaeed didn't have unique music, his stuff was just taken from Thane's theme.
