They are already aware and have been for hours, they are looking into what can be done.

I found a way around this. i imported my warden right after i talked to her at the city gates and it worked. I was choked up at ending yay

It also works when importing an 'Epilogue' savegame (automaticly generated when you finish the game.. it's name is 'epilogue'). Awakening and Amgarrak savegames all have the same bug on the PC and 360. PS3 seems to not suffer from this.

I just bought Witch Hunt, but this bug sounds like it was a good idea to wait to play it later. Hopefully they'll figure out the bug soon.

Actually, I got the bug on PS3 as well.



Regarding her mentioning a son, no, that does not necessarily mean no bug.

If you romanced her and sleep with her, but decline the Ritual, your Origins epilogue may still mention her seen heading towards Orlais with a child. It's just not the stolen soul child.



I'll have to try an epilogue game file for Witch Hunt instead.

I'm sure you guys already have an idea of the bug, but I have played through several imports of the same character and I know what causes it.
It's from Origins, after the epilogue... when you guys let us pretend we are doing things before the final battle...
The bug is Morrigan doesn't recognize the Dark Ritual.
1. Loaded my character from awakening, in which I loaded from a post-epilogue save... bugged.
2. Loaded same character from epilogue save itself, the post-campaign one... no bug.
3. Then to prove it wasn't awakening, I imported the epilogue save to awakening, then to golems, then to Witch Hunt, and no bug. She reacted correctly.
The reason why so many people are getting this bug is because most people play after the epilogue, even if it's just to switch equipment. So that's what I think.

So wait a minute, if I save my game after the corronation and after talking to everyone in the room, but before I walk out to my "adoring public" this bug is going to happen? or are you talking about doing DLC's AFTER the ending?

I'm a little late to the party, as I just got the DLC today and encountered this bug today. It's definitely been reported and a fix is in the works? I'm cool with waiting for it to be patched (IF it can be patched), but I definitely don't want to import a bugged save into DA2. I didn't romance Morrigan, but I had Alistair do the DR and I'd definitely like that acknowledged somewhere.

 doing DLC after the endgame save may trigger the bug, since she is set to friend  when you do DLC from there.

WTF!!! i just finished Witch Hunt (thought it was the best DLC), BUT MORRIGAN SAID I DIDNT DO THE RITUAL!!! I DID DO IT!!!

Just finished Witch Hunt and Morrigan said we did not do the deed, made me feel used and abused, because we did do it, hope it is fixed soon.

i read that if u import a origns epilogue file it should work fine, but anything else then it will bug out

i'm getting witch hunt on friday for PS3 along with awakening but i played on pc, .

i'm replaying on ps3 till friday

Maybe someone at Bioware could play this stuff before they release it. I've played everything in Dragon Age and it is all bugged, every bit of it.
