Is the extra damage just because they go ragdoll when Stasis is over? In either case that's extremely useful. I tore through the YMIR's shielding with my Locust. It was great.
That seems to be the case. Ragdolled enemies take double damage according to the Gameplay Data thread.

Seems like Stasis it the ultimate anti-YMIR power - looking forward to your vid Kronner. Did you really one shot YMIR with shield up? Would be pretty cool, lol.
Yes, he had a little shield taken off - one shot and only a little bit of health left. When I tested it two more times to make sure that it was not a one-time accident, I could one-shot the thing easily as long as I was as close as possible.
YMIR Mech vs. Stasis
When I switched to Phalanx, one shot removed almost whole shield. So this is probably great only for burst damage weapons such as charged GPS, Claymore and maybe Evi. (heavy weapons might work too though)
This is not ragdoll only, if you wait until it is on the ground, you will not do nearly as much damage.

Nice vid, have you tried melee too? Like during the Shadow Broker fight? Would be really cool to melee a YMIR to death

Phalanx shot did a lot more damage than usually, but it still was not even close to one-shotting the Mech.
Claymore shot is almost good enough to kill it with one shot from 100% full shields, so charged GPS should do it easily.

Wait, that's WAY more than just ragdoll damage. What in the world?
Yeah, I noticed it did pretty obscene damage the second run through LotSB. I was using it in conjuction with widow shots on Vasir and the Broker and noticed it was doing pretty ridiculous damage if you caught the person on the way down/first shrug it off when resisting it. I just didn't think to have a go at a YMIR mech with it, lol.

It is insane.
I made another Claymore video and a Phalanx one too.

I'm wondering if there's any difference using lvl 1 Stasis or lvl 4. Will lvl 4 Stasis increase the amount of damage inflicted or does it remain the same. Only durarion is increased each level according the description, but if lvl 1 is enough to trigger this incredible damage bonus; Stasis will be best 1 pnt power ever

Thanks, fixed now. I did not expect Stasis to be that useful to be honest. I found it fun to use because it fits the CC nature of Adept, but it is so much more than that. Nice change from all the stripping powers (Reave, Energy Drain) most people take as a bonus power.

Somebody should ask a dev if this fall damage multiplier is intentional, though, because it is crazy.

Stasis looks to be much better than I anticipated on Vanguards. Should have figured locking down one enemy and making the rest that easier to Charge-eliminate would do that...

Is it possible to Charge an enemy as it's falling and get in a shot with this damage bonus?
I think if you timed it right it would work. This can open new tactics for a Vanguard. Stasis mech (or Scion or some other big enemy), kill minions, Charge the big one just in time and one shot it. That would be priceless.

Priceless, but insanely hard to accomplish. You have to shoot at exactly the right time to get this crazy damage bonus. It doesn't matter what level Stasis is btw, level 1 allows the same. You can easy one shot Geth Primes (Claymore). Stasis doesn't work against Thresher Maw and Geth Colossus

Good to know. Add Harbinger, Praetorian and Oculus to the list.
I think the Charge + insane damage shot combo would be possible to do for example against the first Scion in the Reaper IFF mission.

Have we confirmed that we do get ragdoll damage when they're on the ground?
If so, even if you miss the complete hax damage, doubled damage on a protected target is still pretty awesome.

Is that an effect of Deep Stasis?
