I'm gonna ask Ms. Norman if this was intentional - because if it is, that's awesome.

No.It would make the game unbalanced. As much a want a buff for biotics, this is a little to much...
Tough enemies fallen down is enough, maybee a 100 percent multiplier. That would be perfect.

Are you able to charge an enemy affected by stasis?

Just like everything else, ME2 does Stasis far better. So yay

I don't believe so.  A stasis enemy is taken out of combat, and can't be targetted.

Looks like I might have to drop barrier for this then.

I already did, but I think I go back to Barrier soon - Stasis is way too powerful, fun though, but almost gamebreaking.

I would be okay if stasis even didnt have any bonus damage at all. Most important thing now, most enemies could be affected with singularity and stasis.

For something that was implied to be a buff favouring Adepts, ironically I've found Stasis to be the one thing my Vanguard was missing - a sure-fire quick way to control a tough enemy from as far away as I need.

It's an excellent power. Kudos to the design team for tweaking it from it's old ME1 version, which lurched form overpowered on a bastion to pointless on a Wrex :P

Played Stasis with my Adept last night and ... most definitely YAY. Vasir was no challenge whatsoever with Stasis. I also used it in Kasumi: Stolen Memory, and the YMIR mechs were child's play. It is a good Adept power, since it kind of fills the same role as Tactical Cloak, Charge, and Adrenaline Rush, i.e., giving Shepard some breathing room.

And it does this on the Collector platforms.  I felt Kronner's video needed to be reposted.

Yay.

But can't put it on a new character. The bloody thing just isn't there in the bonus talents.

Did you beat LotSB, including getting the achievement?

Of course. On Veteran though, but I did hear that there is a known bug.

Even though I ain't seeing any threads about it. Oh well.

You should be able to respec into it with Advanced Training once you get Mordin.  I'd hope anyway

Not being able to put it on new characters appears to be a PC specific bug. I take it that anyone who has been able to use it on a new character is on 360 right? In my case it doesn't show up on character creation

but it does unlock as soon as you get Mordin. It was available on my pre-established characters.

If you are having issues please post in this thread in the tech support forums so they know how big or small this issue is.

Triple Asari Adepts vs Tela Vasir:

ME2 - Triple Asari vs Tela Vasir

Some weird s**t happening during the Vasir fight, but it shows how powerful Stasis is, too powerful I think, fun though ;)

- Stasis puts enemies in stasis obviously
- Attacking enemy right after Stasis effect wears of will inflict massive damage (one melee attack kills Enginees 3.58)
- Using Stasis against last surviving enemy will revive squadies (3.48)
- Stasis destroys enemy drones once effect wears of (3.33)
- It's easy to keep one powerful enemy locked using only Shep's Stasis (Vasir)

Check how one Unstable Warp (Liara's) almost completely removes Vasir's armor while she's on the ground (3.00) - that's the only thing I don't understand yet - any suggestions? Oh and Vasir gave up early, she understood resistence is pointless :D too bad, like fighting a fellow Spectre.

Stasis is GREAT :wizard:

The brief ~0.5 seconds where enemies seemingly take 10x more damage after stasis wears off affects powers as well(the damage increase is definately NOT the byproduct of the ragdoll effect). One area overload knocked off more than half a YMIR mech's shields.

Instant-hit powers, squadmate powers, and front-loaded weapons are best(widow, claymore). With that in mind, the best classes for Shepard to take advantage of stasis seem to be the Infiltrator, Soldier, and Vanguard for their front-loaded weapons, followed closely by Engineer and Sentinel for their Overload.

Liara's Warp wasn't used right after Stasis wears of, Vasir was down for at least 7 s. That Warp attack had at least a 20x multiplier - one Warp only scratches Vasir's armor, you can't even see the damage, its that minor.

I don't see why Stasis is better used on certain classes, you don't even need guns to kill powerful enemies. You can melee normal and elite enemies to death after they're coming out of Stasis with ease. One Claymore shot will kill fully shielded YMIR - I one shotted Geth Primes with Evi (VG lvl 16 Tali's RM).

This 5000000000x damage effect of a wearing off Stasis has to be some ridiculous over-looked bug and as such I will not be exploiting it.  The game is easy enough as it is!

Bioware and their famous power creep.  First there was Reave, as versatile as Warp, with AoE, crowd control, and health regen as the original OP ME2 talent that many swore off ever using on their Shepard precisely because it is so obviously unbalanced.  Then Kasumi came along with Flashbang, with a much larger radius than any other talent and still having cc use when enemy defenses are up that was next called OP.  Then the GPS, the shotgun designed for those that don't want to get in close... if that's the case then why use a shotgun in ME2 at all?  That's what AR's are supposed to be for.  And now, Stasis, a skill with a bug that trivializes all major enemy encounters (YMIRS, Scions, Vasir, etc).

Call me crazy, but even in a SP game, I'm a fan of some semblence of balance.

They should fix it. I've already sent vid showing this to Christina Norman, she promised she would check it out, so hopefully there will be a response soon.

Stasis would be pretty awesome even if it did not have any ragdoll damage at all. This "Fall of Death" is insane. btw does it work on xbox too is it just PC version?

Yeah I agree, the CC effect is good enough - Stasis still is a great power without the crazy damage. Thought that Stasis supposed to make enemies immune to damage in the first place, well you can't damage them in Stasis, but afterwards ... way too powerful. Enemies go down once effect wears of so there is plenty of time to inflict (normal) damage against target and kill most enemies without this damage boost.

I can pull it off reliably on the xbox.  It helps conserve ammo for my pre-Shotgun Extra Clips upgrade Vanguard.  Still, Charging is more fun.  So I clear out the standard foes and then set up the execution on their leader.
