At the end she says she has a gift for you. I never found the Dragonbone Cleaver (found all the other reward items) so I thought maybe she leaves you the sword...but that would be fairly useless as you don't get to ever actually see it. So probably not.
....is it supposed to be part of the cliffhanger? I like cliffhangers, and the fact that Witch Hunt didn't answer as many questions as I would havwe liked was okay (after a few minutes of me glaring at the screen, at any rate). But if it IS part of the cliffhanger, can we at least get some kind of hint? A hint along the lines of "If will matter in DA2" or something. Just some kind of explanantion as to what it is we're being prepared for. Because this one just comes out of left field.
So..what did Morrigan give you?

It seems to be part of the cliffhanger. Some people have been theorizing that it could be a cure for the taint. Others seem to think it's just a reference to the rewards you get from finishing the DLC.

Don't know. And unless we can import a Warden from WH into other modules (which doesn't make sense timeline-wise) there's no way to find out. There's no epilogue or post-DLC save.

Well the items showed up on my new warden (even though he was already at Lothering). Maybe it's that? Maybe it's something else. I guess we won't know unless a Bioware person answers.

Yeah, I was kind of hoping to grab a dev's attention and at least get a hint. I don't really want a spoiler per se, so much as an idea of what that was supposed to be.

Ye it is really annoying, hope to get an answer to this!

No other DLC has had an in game moment of 'we gave you loot!' I have trouble seeing them turning the end of the last DLC into a reference to that.

OK I had a look (just finished my second run through Witch Hunt). There are two books on the ground - a small green one and a large, open book. One will be the elf book and the other is, I suppose, your gift.
I think dog is just digging because he does that, anyway. He stops and follows everyone as they head for the exit, so I don't think he's dug anything up, actually.

It looked like, to me, the book that Morrigan stole... and the other, from some reason, struck me as Flemeth's true grimoire. Since I'm a mage, that shows the obvious value it might have to her, but who knows what Flemeth has in that book?
The problem being that while it being the grimoire works for me- I bootslapped Flemeth out of the corporeal realm and gave the book to Morrigan- I have no idea how that might work for someone who blatantly refused to do Morrigan's work.

cant believe how bioware left things unexplained so badly when the advert for the dlc was clearly ''this is the final dlc and you shall get answers'' guess what? I GOT NO ANSWERS AT ALL. except flemeth is a bad bad woman. *sigh*

She says it's the book she stole from the Dalish, and maybe something more, what's in that book is interesting. I mean I thought I'd get to read codex or smth... But nooo credit roll cliffhanger

she gave me the ability to go back in time over and over and over and over again to right before I began dialog with her and the ability to see a book on the ground, nobody saying a word, and credits roll, over and over and over again, is this a bug? The same thing happened with the Leliana DLC, after the "final dialog" credits, and repeat over and over and over again until I just exit out of the game.............

I agree with Valentia. I think it might be Flemeth's Grimoire. She did say that Flemeth is the one to hunt down, not her. Maybe when they say that last dlc, the mean for the origins story. I'm really hoping with all hope that we will play our warden at another time... David G did state we would see Morrigan again but he didn't specify when... and he said this after witch hunt announced.

Isn't Morrigan the only one besides Flemeth who can actually read the Grimoire though?
Morrigan: All the answers you seek are in my mother's Grimoire. I've left it for you right over there.
Warden: Sweet! You're the best Morrigan.
*Warden walks off towards campsite as Morrigan ducks into mirror*
Warden: Hey Morrigan, how do I even read this thing? Morrigan? Where did you go?
Morrigan: *evil laughter from the great beyond wherever she is*
Warden: Nuuuuu! *shakes fist*

Personally, I totally believe in the Great Pumpkin. Just sayin'. And you're completely (pea)nuts.

I am angry and confused. There were no questions answered only that Flemmeth is the real danger. And were in the world does the mirror lead, what gift was given to us? I mean come on BioWare this DLC has more questions than answers.

I think I like the cure for the taint. If she knows how to purify the soul of an archdemon healing your taint seems possible
