I bought Origins in South Africa (PAL version, am South African resident) but was given Awakening
(on disk, NTSC version from Taiwan) as a gift. Obviously ran into
problems as Awakening did not pick up Origins (Region issues). I later
bought an NTSC version of Origins so that I could play through both
titles. Here is my problem. I registered a PSN/EA account with the
European (which is South Africa's default region?) server on my old PAL version of Origins (I pretty much bought all the available DLCs!).
Having
installed the NTSC versions of the game I want to gain the downloadble
content and redeem codes for the NTSC versions etc. but the download list is empty (obviously -
it logs into my PSN/EA account, PAL).
(Q) How do I create a seperate PSN/EA
account with an ASIAN or US (which are NTSC regions right?) server so
that I can download/redeem codes? Would EA transfer my already purchased PAL DLC's to my NTSC download list or do I need to purchase the SAME content again - that doesn't seem right does it??! Would be paying twice??!
Step by step guide/solutions would be extremely useful as I
admit I am pretty poor on the technical side. Any assistance would be
greatly appreciated. Anyone from EA seeing this?
I don't know what issue this is - DLC or region issues - PLEASE HELP!

Hi
You won't get any help from anyone official here, I recommend that you go to
http://support.ea.com
Creating a separate PSN ID is easy, all you need to do is select that country when you create the new account (on a new user on your ps3). You will need an address/postal code but you can get one online.
I highly doubt that you will be allowed to transfer content... however the DLC that you have bought should be available in the ps3 for all users regardless of which one bought it (even if they are in different regions)
