With the recent events, developing time shortened in case of DA2, mainstreamisation and all other factors I begin to wonder what will the future hold for ME3.

No question the game is in developement right now, but in what state is it? How heavily will it be modified? Will it follow DAO->DA2 pattern? Will the last rpg elements be sacreficed for gameplay sake? Will it transmutate into TPP shooter game with lots of dialogues?
I wonder.

With Liara dlc we're entering the uncharted post ME2 region I belive. With all the voiced pleas in the community - is returnig to old plots a viable decision? Will BW do it? I think not, all we can hope for is another Liara ad formula starring (enter most exploitable characters here).
I wonder if the dlcs will function as a gackgroud for the upcoming game or will they act as a prologue, allowing to jump right into the action with ME3 release. Which approach would you like better? Following existing story plots or expanding ME universe?

What do you think? Will BW work on established material or are we facing some radical (again) changes?
