hello, i can't install shadow broker dlc on czech version of ME2 (collector's edition). all previous dlcs (kasumi, zaeed, overlord, weapon packs - i installed firepower pack today) work fine. can anyone in bioware fix this problem please?

the same problem here, except my ME2 CE is localized for polish language.  some time ago i did some tinkering with changing files, so i could access english speech in game, with polish subtitles ( just in case my english proves not good enough ). then with one of the dlc's ( i think it was firewalker ) which installed patch 1.01, my game went to full english. anyway, every dlc i got worked perfectly, except for this one. it just says it can't work with my language version.
help please

Here's a fix, worked for me

Change entry Language in the following registry key from "pl" (or whatever you have there) to "en"



32bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\\\\\\\SOFTWARE\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\Mass Effect 2



64bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\\\\\\\SOFTWARE\\\\\\\\Wow6432Node\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\Mass Effect 2



Then install DLC and after that change Language back to original value.

it's not an technical issue, it was intented, this DLC should not be for sale at certain regions as it's not supported by localization, but as we see (from posts) you can change your language registry and other stuff to make it work
future DLC's will also be unavailable for few countries
