Another holy **** moment for me was when Shepard tackles Tela Vasir out that window and she Biotic shoves him into the ground. Ouch!

The cinematics in this DLC were astounding!

Battling Vasir with her Vanguard charge was pretty awesome, I'm actually sorry she didn't somehow survive considering she didn't do any more wrong than any other Specter.

On the hull of Shadow Broker's ship was sheer awe inspiring. Just beautiful scenery and effects.

The car chase was also cool.

Really I was amazed at how impressive the cut scenes were too. In fact I found the cut scenes in this DLC to be some of the best I've ever seen in any video game.

Shepard going Hand to Hand... Finally felt for the first time in the entire series that Shepard is really something special.

Yeah, in the videos in the lair. He's meeting a Cerberus uniformed guy in a quiet corner of the Presidium. Cool huh?

:unsure:so anderson can't completely down play shephard then, he can re-accept him as a alliance officer.:whistle:well cerberus corporation was once a alliance military project...hmmm.

Yeah, is that a plot hole? We know from the books, the codex, and the timeline in the SB dossier that cerberus started out as terrorist pro human organization. Yet Kahoku says they were a military branch gone rogue.

Possibilities:
1. Cerberus infiltrated the Alliance and set up a project in their midst (unlikely that they would unwittingly call it cerberus too)
2. There are two "Cerberuses", that eventually joined together (maybe the military project wasn't even called cerberus)
3. The Alliance is much more entangled with cerberus than anyone thought.
4. Kahokus statement was simply a writers error and should be disregarded.

Hmmmm...
To quote Joker: "Cerberus, three headed dog, how come it's managed by only one guy?" :)

Maybe Anderson was meeting a Cerberus informant?

For me, it's when Shep tackled Vasir at Sekat's place.

And yes, the Vasir fight was fun. I noticed that if you punt her to infinity and beyond, the game will fail to progress...

The quibs between Shep and Liara during the car chase is gold!

Azure!

I think Kahoku was just referencing Cerberus as a paramilitary organization.

That's an interesting theory, Airjharn :bandit:

Vasir was definitely mine, watching her flash around the battlefield like that. I was like, "holy ****, a REAL Vanguard!"

Tell me about it. My mouth was wide open when I discovered I was fighting a REAL Vanguard.

1. Jack's poetry: it was bad poetry but still....Seems both of my favorite female characters (Jack and Ash) like poetry. :D

2. The hull battle was just breathtaking. The only thing that came even close was Tuchanka.

The part when the Shadow Broker threw a table at Garrus. I thought that he had died, and Liara was going to take his place calibrating the guns.

My only disappointment with Lair is still the lack of banter between your other squadmates (other than some random sound when the trade centre blows up). I can understand the fiscal reason, but still.. I wish that extra effort was there (and made sense, and was in a way cost effective for bioware to do).

What I want to know as a Vanguard is why I can't Charge to the opposite end of the battlefield without using an enemy as my focal point, the way Vasir did.

The hull battle instantly reminded me of my favorite battle of ME1, which is the charge up the Citadel tower in pursuit of Saren. Only in this battle, I got lost easier. :P

True. It would have required about hiring 10 voice actors for that job and it would have been quite expensive. My guess is that Bioware used older clips for the third party member while they needed to hire just Meer, Hale and Hillis for party member voice actors.

Bantering between Shepard and Liara is very good. Shepard and Liara bantering about taxi faremeter and Liara giving Shadow Broker mercs tactical tips were hilarious.

On the hull of the ship while hacking the door, I biotic pushed a mercenary to the front of the ship and he got zapped by lightning in mid-air. I don't know if it was designed to do that, but WOW that was intricate.

Me... I went "FINALLY!  Another real vanguard to test my mettle against!"

And there was much charging.  And then her armor ran out, and she was between me and the ledge.  And it was gooooood. :D  Too bad there wasn't a cutscene to handle that manner of defeating her.

I agree. I loved it that we saw Shepard in some hand to hand combat, and not against some little runt.  Fiona kicked his ass

Seeing Shep recoil a bit was kinda "huh?" for me.  Shep's beheld reapers, thresher maws, and geth collossi, and he's disconcerted by that?

The actual boss fight with him was kinda meh in difficulty.  He had the fatal weakness of being subject to stunning from charge attacks.  I'd charge him, and then quickly circle-strafe him, shotgunning him the whole time (gotta love the Scimmy). Even when he reared up for his quaint little on-foot charge, *Whooooorsh-BAM*, problem solved.

This was subtle, but-

Tala vasir w/hostage: I've heard losing a parent is just terrible for children. Scars 'em for life

Liara: I'm going to murder you horribly.

Of course a Spectre would know about the whole Benezia issue. Not nice at all.
